Christmas 2023 site said open normal hours so i went and found it closed. Phoned up boxing day no answer.

I will be going in bank holiday Monday love the store's been going there for 20 years for all my tools the staff are excellent and no what their talking about thanks machine mart.5stars

Great staff...Emma really top assistant...also really good store ,lots of items to do the job...I bought car ramps on this occasion, and got a call a.m.,- saying goods had arrived...

Incompetent staff. Poor Service. Will not check system regarding my faulty service! Never had an issue before as the purchases has lifetime warranty. Is that what you train staff to say "you bought it off Ebay!" Rather than checking system especially the amount I purchase from you from the last 14 years!

Referred to from a local wheel repair shop around the corner, The Wheel Specialist.

Came in and was greeted by the staff, originally came for a long tyre iron and walked out with a reasonably priced Trolley Jack and Impact Driver both with warranty. Had a good chat with the staff and they were showing me a few things that they have that come with lifetime warranty. Really impressed and will be coming here from now on

Did some work on the roof of the property, Emma the manager was very helpful had to pick up a few extra bits for the job knew her stuff and had sensible covid restrictions in place would recommend for any trade needing tools

I've used Machine Mart so many times, both in Altrincham and the Ashton old rd branch. I've always had a good experience with them and found them to be very knowledgable about their products. The staff in both shops are very helpful and do keep your buys on their system so as to help with any future purchases. For instance I recently purchased a compressor from the Ashton branch, then I bought the air line and connectors. They have all my purchases on their system so when I go to buy any tools, they will know exactly which fitting I need to operate my tools. I know it's not a big thing, but, sometimes it's the little things that help. As for the review before this one, if I'd have turned up at 17:55 and they should have been open until 18:00 hrs, even if I'd have only traveled 5 mins down the road, I wouldn't use them again on principle, without an apology from their head office and an assurance that the people responsible had been dealt with. That kind of thing lets down the whole company.

Absolutely disgusted with this branch after driving for over an hour through rush hour traffic to get to the branch at 5:55 to find it closed with two members of staff staring at me and ignoring my pleas to open the door. Don't get me wrong I have always been a loyal customer of machine mart and have recommended them many times but this branch lets the side down badly. Fuming is not the word don't advertise 6 o'clock and close at 10 too
