I felt Discrimination, I applied for 1995 and I never Received Get the Opportunity, I When again to applied one of the lady that on the Front desk was very Rude and never get any help from housing... I don't understand why and what is the reason..

Really sad you have people that are elderly calling for more then 3 hours waiting and nothing. Some issues can be answered with just a simple phone call but because no one picks up you have to deal with going down there just to ask a question and NO not all questions can be answered online the mayor should really do something about this it's ridiculous and a inconvenience for the elderly and women with children

Just a heads up cause it’s not listed on their website or anywhere for that matter- walk-ins are NOT WELCOMED. They are only allowing domestic violence victims and elderly with section 8 / Nycha inside. They will tell you you cannot come in- if you’re from SI like me then please make an appointment cause the travel isn’t worth it just to be turned away.

I’m a DV voucher holder of section 8 and have consistently had issues with section 8 and my case. I am still fighting to get the details of my case correct because everytime I go up- or speak to someone on the phone either my issues is fixed but another mistake is made somewhere else, or they’re just telling me “yeah we did this” meanwhile they didn’t. I’m a step away from the shelter, I truly hope the people here pull it together and actually do their job. I will once again be calling everyday at 8am on the dot until this is fixed. You need to find a better way or hire people who actually care.

For a client center organization. This place treats clients like they're inhumane. I could not believe the distasteful attitudes provided by the staff and what's even more disgusting is the Supervisor (Mr. Simmon/ Assistant housing manager) was just as disgusting as his staff.

Hello, nycha, answer the phones calls please I have been calling since last week because I had my yearly inspection and no one came to my aparment I was at home the whole week, the whole day and no one came, no one call me that they were here nothing and now the dont answer their phones. You people need to work better. I should give you 0 star but I could not

I call this place @ 8:00 am on the dot !!! And I still wait 3hours for someone to pick up the phone. On top of that this is my 5th time calling about the same issue and each time I was told to give it about 2 days and the issue will be resolved!!! They never fix anything !!! THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO DO A FULL SWEEP OF THIS PLEASE. They need to investigate what is going on. Because it’s obvious these people are sitting around stealing time .

This so management is the worst most horrible rental office I have ever dealt with Especially the so called manager Laquaisha. She is the most unprofessional, immature employee there. I can only surmise how she became manager. It sure was not for her professionalism or management skills. She doesn’t like me personally so she makes sure that nothing ever gets done in my apartment. There are 23 violations in my apartment alone. She sends these so called workers too my home whenever she feels like it while I’m at work. Then says that I denied entry. Of course I’m not there. She sends my calls to voice mail when she sees my number. If she answers she places me on hold for no other reason but to annoy me. Again, unprofessional. If I can put them at ZERO I would because they’re not deserving of a ONE. I WILL BE POSTING PICTURES SOON.

I had been calling since Tuesday I waited Two hours until 5 pm and no one picked up.
Yesterday I called again the whole day since 9am been on hold for 3 hours and getting disconnected to called again waiting till after 5pm for no one to pick up ..it’s ridiculous !
it’s important that I speak to someone regarding an interim change that applied and can not go through with it and want to cancel it ,so it don’t affect my voucher as per the letter that I received
Today I called again after waiting two hour and half someone finally answered the phone I explained to her the situation she said its not going to affect my voucher if I don’t want do the interim change not to do it” . Then she started to be very rude and aggressive to me ,because I told her what the letter says if I don’t submit the requirements needed.. smh
Aside what I had to go through to speak to someone this lady had the nerves to speak to me so rudely and unprofessional when all I needed was a straight answer

The howard houses is a decent housing development. The views are surprisingly nice. The development is equipped with a pool and playgrounds for kids. Plenty of amenities on the grounds.

They did not fix my problem cause of the system being slow I think, but they did tried and treated me good. update this turns out my logging info was no working as it was supposed to so it was kind of my fault or the system but had nothing to do with them, still they are professional and understanding.

Been living on these apartments for ever, the repairs are subpar to say the least. Been without a functioning intercom for over 3 years, and with leaks in windows and ceilings all the time. But when my ceiling collapsed this time around, ruining my bed, my floor and hurting my aunt, they have not responded even though I have called so many times, they just take a message and say someone will call me, but they don't. This landlord is the worst

Waiting for 11 months now for our deposit back. Each time we're calling their office, the staff is being unfriendly and rude. No email response, as well LaQuasia Thomas has been extremely rude throughout our many years lease. During our lease, we've had ongoing bathroom leaks from the unit above and the toilet didn't worked for a few months. This management company is extremely unresponsive and unprofessional.

This center purpose is to help the Senior and not to discouraged them and send them out confused. My mom is a senior that attends there and she wants to do things and feel independent. Staff very unprofessional and unorganized.

LaQuasia Thomas is bias and conveniently unorganized with the hopes that the person has moved on. Had to contact DHR to report her behavior.

The worst management company in NYC. I wish I could give this place -10 stars. The building is infested with rats in the walls and ceilings that they do nothing about but throw poison and let them die, rot, and smell. The building barely has any hot water so have fun taking cold shower all winter long. And to top it all off, the women who work in the office are the rudest most miserable people I have ever met. LaQuasia Thomas has got to be the most miserable of them all. I have never seen such terrible customer service and communication. Save yourself some stress and do not live in one of their buildings.

The truck driver hit my car as I was Park in front of 252 Jackson Street on Monday May 2 2022.
I been calling the company and no one got back in touch with me as of yet. I spoke to a young lady and she took my name and number. Still nothing I have pictures of the damage and pictures of the truck. There's space on the street for him to be that close to knock off the rim over my tires. I just got the car. And to leave work to see that. I gave my information to contact me and nothing. Now they close.

There has been no heat in my unit since jan.1st,I was giving two (2) antiquated heater,You can not feel heat coming from these heaters unless you stand directly in front,Prayers for the I'll and the handicapped!🙏🏽

It's not that bad but I was there very early in the day and I was not alone so I think 🤔 that makes a big difference my company was doing surveys to see how the people feel about the community in which they live, the apartments their neighbors everything that impacts their lives .

The lady's that pick up the phone or not helpful at all very disrespectful take the job for a joke don't care about the tenants that are living here every time you call they have issues to not pass the manager are the supervisor the phone they are very disrespectful always trying to argue with you they all need to get fired because I don't know who hired them in the 1st place.

Love this place. Brings back many fond memories of being with family and celebrating holidays and birthdays.

Management is horrible. Constantly makes up stories and excuses for horrible work. Rent is constantly changing and loving conditions are treacherous. No renovations and when they do it is worse than what it was before. Little to no hot water. Land lord doesn’t care about living conditions and horrible rodent infection.

You don’t know what a truly a horrible apartment management company is until you deal with these folks. Absolutely rude and never willing to help. Below is just one of the many situations we had with them.

There is no online payment and you have to pay be sending them checks/money orders. They once misplaced our check. When we asked if they could look for it they refused and requested a new check to be sent. I have been in their office and seen how disorganized they are so I am not surprised they lost the check. We then voided the check and sent them a new one. Of course they charged us the late fee. A couple of weeks later they found the missing check. They were told it was voided yet they tried to cash it. Guess what? They charged us bounced check fees. When I emailed them and asked to adjust our bill to remove the two fee charges they simply didn’t respond to my emails. You think you can elevate the issue to the upper management but you can’t. We asked if we could speak to someone up the ladder and they simply answered “No”.

We were, in fact, never in any situation permitted to speak with anyone except the receptionists. And that, by the way, included the super. We weren't permitted to call the super even when, in the dead of winter, the building's heat went out. When we contacted the office to have someone come out and work on the heating tank, we were told that this didn't qualify as an emergency. The temperature in our unit (as well as in others) was near freezing. Does that sound like "not an emergency"? And does that sound like the response of a dependable and humane apartment management company?

And believe me, it’s not just us: every other tenant we met was deeply unhappy with them. The management seems to be the prime reason people move out. Please avoid them at all costs!

I love this center , it is my life line and Very Nice Staff! I am sure many seniors like me, that feel the same way. Thank you😁😁😁😁 those cook and work at the you make a Great difference.

Nasty receptionist that works there, have you on hold, then come back to the phone with an attitude like you did something, poor poor customer service skills, very unprofessional. Never want to do the repairs in the apartment, you call for the repairs then the day of it's a no show then you call to find out what happen , all to find out you never was put on the list, even when they called to confirm. They don't exterminate you have mice, baby rats, and water bugs running around. They don't take out the garbage it piles up and over flows on to the side walk. Just nasty. Make sure you keep a tab of your rent receipts they are good for telling you, that you owe them rent. I'm sure they have plenty other violations

I've been volunteering at this facility for over 7 years. Well kept, clean and the staff is friendly.

When I work at this location everybody treated me as if I was a member of their family.

I adore this place its huge for us and there is a area with seating losts of seating and a area to play pool and there are many clubs such as knitting its amazing I love it. And for the elders that cant walk there the meal is brougth with you in meals on wheels.

Very poor organization skills. The attending seniors are of a lower income.
From the old Williamsburg. People not able to really speak out. These days
you need a computer to inform. I find that they are doing poor planning.
In areas where certain workers are needed at a certain time they allow them
to take vacation. They are aware that they have no back and they take a worker from a department that is needed to handle trivial matters. Workers
being compensated good money to do trivial things. Leaving other departments unattended. So far that has been my only complaint. I do
understand that the food is good. I have not had the pleasure. Hopefully
in the near future I will. I am writing this for the simple fact that I care.
The elderly need a voice and I will try to be there for them. Same way I help in my building. I am polite and not afraid to speak my mind as you see. Today I will give it 2 stars for the fact that they were rude today and my questions were not answered to my satisfaction.

Called again in order to make some kind of appointment. It turned out to be a matter of don't call us. We will call you. Who is really minding the
store. I started laughing and the young woman was thinking I was laughing at her. She asked me if she made a joke. To me their whole
system is a joke. It turns out that the senior citizens were voting for something today. I sincerely hope that it is for better management.
It is so difficult to give an unprofessional a professional job. Kid of the blind leading the blind.

They shoot all time in this area nothing has changed 2016 except they put giant light and police out here all night, but they don't do a walk up and down in the building

They shoot and the housing workers doesnt do there job and people piss in the hallway and stays there for very long

As long as u talk to the right people service is great.. The caretakers work hard the superviser caretaker is the best.. The young lady that cleans the office is so helpful.. The super is good he gets the job done..
