My daughter started 5 weeks ago and is currently 25 months old. First session she was screaming and didn’t want to go in. Only. 5 weeks later she is confident, loves swimming and talks about how she has been ‘kicking’ when she comes home. I am honestly so impressed and can’t wait to see her progress!

My experience has been very mixed. My youngest child has enjoyed swim lessons and is less scared in water after 9 weeks of lessons whilst my oldest child spent 8 weeks in a beginners class being told he couldn’t do things he could already do and repeating badges he had already achieved. After 8 weeks this seemed to improve when he was moved to a more challenging group. I paused lessons over summer and was shocked on saying I would re-start to be asked for a second deposit when my original deposit was still held. I was told this was because deposits were returned as none payment for last two lessons when a leaving date was given. I clarified I had given a leaving date when I booked for an initial block of 9 lessons and had reconfirmed this several times. I was asked for payment in full for 1 lesson and then two blocks of 4 lessons - which I paid as requested. I was then told I had chosen not to attend my two free lessons. This comes across as being more interested in making money than in teaching my children. The lessons were a mixed experience but this focus on getting two deposits does not come across well to me so I will move my children to another swim class.

My little girl was such a nervous child when it comes to swimming, she was very hesitant after a bad experience on holiday, a star was recommended to me by a friend and ive not looked back. Scarlett has come on massively and the confidence in which I've seen in her from the beginning to now its unreal. She comes out really happy and proud of herself, and after already receiving 4 badges shes 1 very happy little girl 💜

Due to having additional needs my son has found swimming very hard, however ALL the staff have made him feel so welcome, they are all patient, caring and very skilled in making him slowly confident in the water. I couldn't recommend this swimming school more. The name says it all, A star!

My daughter has recently moved to A Star Swim School and is making so much progress. The instructors are so friendly and welcoming and my daughter is excited to go each week, which is a very different response to her previous swim school. Cannot recommend enough 😀

Both my kids love going swimming with A star swim schools. The teachers are great with all the children. My son has a disability and his teacher, Leanne, is so good with him and really encourages him to do his best without pushing him too far. Definitely recommended!

A friendly staff and also very helpful every time. My daughter experience with the swim school showed her confidence with the swimming abilities and she is coming back all the time with the smile on her face. Thank you! Kindly recommend the school. ❤️

Fantastic place for beginners and experienced swimmers staff are really friendly and welcoming to all. Instructors are great with students and dedicate the correct amount of time to progress students through the different levels and steps, can't recommend enough our daughter has been there since the age of 3 and now 9 and still loves every lesson.
