I asked the ladies for some products and they don’t know anything seriously I can’t believe they’re working in the store and they don’t have any information about any product plus the attitude really bad like they don’t care

Great customer service! Came here to buy my granddaughter some school shoes. But when I asked if they had the free slip-on socks I was told no they ran out. But that I could buy one pair of their socks and get one free. And ended up paying $14 for a pair of socks and I didn't want! But the customer service is always excellent!

My kids love coming here to shop for their favorite bands, anime and horror stuff they like. It is a bit over priced though. It's clean but some things are to high to reach or look at. Kids love it!

Go here to get stuff for my granddaughter and Funko POPS for myself. Staff is extra friendly and helpful.

My nephews and I love getting our t-shirts here.

It can get a little crowded in the store

It's literally my favorite store. I love Vans for me and my girls. I would post all the pics of all the Vans we own, but it would be a lot of pics, lol.

The cashier ignores my child and I as we waited the be helped and ask the white people that came after us. Then another cashier helped us, was snappy and with attitude kind of threw the item my kid purchased. I asked her, did you just throw the bag? And with more attitude she said no. Never apologized. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I said is this the way you treat your costumers. I also told her to not roll her eyes at me (the other cashier) and she came to us to say she didn’t roll her eyes and showed me her snappy expression in front of me and my kid. Really bad costumer service.

It’s ok I like the shoes I bought sneakers for school, but I didn’t like the girl with the black long hair she looked at me funny I find this discrimination I felt unfortunately uncomfortable

The store itself was a little dirty/dusty. Was looking at all the different shot glasses and when i picked some up, they were full of lint/dust.
Honestly, i think all the store needs is a good cleaning, and clean it daily.
The staff, although very busy this time of year, were really helpful.

Fun and sexy.
This is a very unique store. It is popular for certain people but it is fun to just go inside and visit. There are certain unique items that you will not be able to find in other stores. I did buy a very classic, black and white movie scene purse and I liked it very much, also a black and white poster was very beautiful and full of the passion.
However, there are some simple items can be expensive, just because of the Playboy logo on it. If you are hot and romantic, then you certainly will find a lot of sexy items, to enhance your mood and experience!

This store was the worst. My daughter and i went in to get hardware for her lip and navel. Found both, really nice but when she went to put the lip piece in it was cracked and u can't put a cracked piece in your lip. The 2nd one she chose was 2 $ and some change less then the first one. As we waited the cashier was refunding the lady in front of us for an item from a store in another city and she didn't want to refund my daughter. Unfortunately there was nothing in that store for that amount of money left over and she didn't want to give us a gift card. Where there was nothing else for them to do and it turned nasty. Words were exchanged and i believe she made her decision based on race and she made my daughter very angry as i was but, I'm much more rational. She finally but the money on a card and then tried to lock us in the store. The policies of Spencer are outrageous. She made her own decision and it was very bad. You can't just take peoples money as we were gone from the store less then 10 minutes. I would have hated to see what would have happened if they had locked her in that store with the 3 of them, it would not have been nice. DON'T SHOP THIS SPENCER STORE IN COVINA MALL. The workers need customer service training on how not to talk to people like they are intelligent.

I'm not one to write reviews for anything but I feel like this place deserves it! All of the workers are EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming but there's one worker in specific that I am especially fond of. Her name is Liv or Liz (I can never really hear her over the music and whatnot) and she's always so super friendly and easy to talk to. She's genuinley such a sweet and caring person who's always willing to put in the extra work to help. she has the brightest smile and such cute style, you can definetly tell that she pays attention to her customers. I love this store already but she definetly makes me love it so much more!

To the 3 girls working on Saturday, March 26 around 6:20 pm. Do better! As a person, as an employee, as a customer service rep. My parents, 6 year old and 6 month old showed up. We asked two see 1 pair of glittered vans for a baby, which didn't seem to fit, but my daughter asked for food. So as I make her a bottle I also asked for a pair of white converse. Granted, I should of waited for her to eat, but I have impatient 6 year and was trying to multitask. I made the bottle and told her I would put them on my daughter when she finished eating. She immediately went to her two coworkers and told them to keep an eye on us. They all look at us and from that second on kept an eye on us at all times. She should have been more discreet. She saw how I was struggling and she instead insinuated I was going to steal the shoes. I fed my daughter, tried the shoes on her and gave them back. As soon as I have them back, they couldn't open them fast enough to check. I grew up in West Covina, so Journeys is a place I have bought shoes from for the last 15+ years. I have so many memories of this place while I was in high school, now all I will remember is this experience and will never buy here again. Oh to top of off, a Dad asked for blue baby Crocs and one of them told him that Journeys kids had better selection. The guy told her, ok but I still want to see the shoes lol so maybe they shouldn't sell kids shoes. Shame on me for not going to the other journeys.

Sales person was helpful my son got the style he wanted and she laced his shoes for him.

It was ok but the guy, employee wasn't to good. He kept helping other's at the same time, leaving me waiting & forgot to bring me some item I asked for, so I just paid for what I had & left. Also didn't lace up my shoe until I asked him to.

I think the staff was very kind when helping me find what I call an old lady tongue ring. Also, walking around this store doesn't matter where you turn, you will have yourself a little chuckle. I love this store!

lovely experience, I am an extremely indecisive person but Julie brought me out every pair I asked for with a great vibe, ultimately found 2 pairs that I liked and Sophia was super helpful in checking me out and letting me know of the promotional coupon going on. I would come back just to be helped out by them anyday 😊

Actually this was my granddaughters experience.
She went last minute shopping to complete her Halloween Costume for a party she was very excited to go to tonight. After a lot of looking everywhere Spencer's had just what she wanted. She rushed home to get ready and low-and-behold there it was! It was the security button that needs that certain tool to remove. You know, the tool that only clothing stores have. The only tool that can be used to remove the button correctly. Remove the button so the ink inside of the button won't squirt out all over garment. She didn't notice it wasn't being removed. Then, when she carried the bag out there wasn't any alarm set off to alert her either. So, she ended up not having any costume to wear at the party. She was very sad. You should of seen her disappointment. It just made my heart cry to see such a happy face turn into a very disappointed face instead. All because of a small mistake that left a huge imprint on her night.

As always, very helpful and friendly staff. This has to be my favorite Vans store because everything is pretty much well in stock. None of the staff seem to act snobby, unlike in other Vans stores that I've been to in the past. I highly recommend stopping by here.

Very helpful staff! Found my shoe size within just a few minutes and notified me of the current specials. Not a frequent visitor but this experience makes me want to change that!

Amazing shoes, I love every style. They have a lot of staff there to help some were super eager to help with my questions about an exchange I needed, but some were not as nice. Overall I recommend Vans to everyone, they have a style for each person and also kids shoes.

I went to find a watch. Ended up getting something else.
Worker named Nathan was super friendly and helpful. It was really busy but he still took time to talk to me about what I was looking for and give me some suggestions.
Only complaint is that the check out line was difficult to navigate.
