Gorgeous natural fiber mattresses , sofas, futons and more. I couldn’t decide from all the beautiful selection. I appreciate natural fibers for my family’s health. Manager helped us with in stock selection and delivery options. this will be our go to stop for mattresses.

I called with questions, left a voicemail and had a call back within an hour. A salesperson, Christopher, was very helpful guiding me to the best futon mattress for my frame. I would highly recommend calling The Futon Shop rather than just placing an order online. Service is efficient and very helpful.

I had to replace a waterbed mattress and wanted a futon, they worked with me to get the right size to fit inside the hard frame of my bed. As well as helping me get the right firmness that I needed. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. If I ever need another mattress will go to them again.

I just had a blissful experience at The Futon shop on Pico, Los Angeles. Our futon at home was finally ready to retire and we needed something deeply comfortable yet supportive. I tried six futons until I found the perfect one. And, even better they had it in stock so I could take it home today. I can’t thank Edith and Chris enough.

Warning. Despite the parking garage having signs and designated spots for West Elm Customer Pick Up. The store associates will not validate your parking ticket, even with purchase. So if you are picking anything up from this store, be prepared to pay $15 for parking. Fun!

Meh. Everyone was super friendly when we came in. My issue is that when we called, we asked about parking because, as you know, parking in DTLA is a nightmare, and they said, “we validate!” that was it. We came in, tried a bunch, and then before we left, we asked if they validate, and they said only with purchase. I think they were irritated we didn’t buy the 2k chairs we were looking at. Are you effing serious? People have to pay $15 to go in and test couches, etc. Making your customers pay $15 for parking based on purchases when you clearly came in to test out the options is absolutely asinine, especially in DTLA. It left a really bad taste in my mouth and made me reconsider even buying from West Elm at all.

Very rude customer service and not a well managed store! They don't mind false advertisement at this particular store. They plastered a red tag sale sign on a shelf for planters of three different sizes. Of course they didn't display individual prices on any of them and when I inquired about the price on the smallest item they seemed bothered that I was interested in the supposed sale item and both representatives seem to be in on the dupe and were very rude and short with me. I did contact corporate and they informed this store has been getting a lot of complaints. Besides being in a dicey area with homeless sleeping outside the display windows and no availability of parking, I see no redeeming quality to visit this particular location.

Beyond Angel and Silvia, who I have to admit are absolutely wonderful people and salesmen, the rest of the people that work here either have no manners or any idea of what’s going on. People come here and spend a lot of money and they expect to be treated with a certain level of respect and hospitality but that is rarely the case. Theresa and the other female whose name I couldn’t make out (Elyse?) are insufferable. I recently came into the store to pick up an order I placed with Silvia for a throw to be delivered to the store but when I got here the woman behind the desk, besides looking uninterested, had no idea where my item was. She asked me if I had received a notification assuring me that my item had been delivered and I replied that this was the only reason I was in the store. They searched for at least 15 minutes rarely ever saying a word to me . Again she asked me if I had received a notification and again I showed her my email through my phone and read her my order number. After another while the young man that works there finally came back out with my item in hand. A lackluster apology about wasting my item and finally I was out of there. Then I kept getting text and email notifications that I had the same item waiting for me at the store so I called and asked them to check the item as having been picked up. I shouldn’t have to tell anyone how to do their job. I also mentioned to Theresa that the person answering the phone should address herself but she said that the employees are not supposed to give us their name. I tried explaining that’s it’s just part of the etiquette of answering a phone but I chose not to get into it with her. I live down the street but I think I’ll just head to Burbank from now on.

I recently ordered a custom dining table from this furniture store, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Big THANKS to Mr.Juan!!!! Juan gave such care and patience during my visit. Originally I was looking for a dining set for my new apt. Juan was patient and really listened to what I was looking for. I gave me great suggestions and not only was he so great with welcoming and customer service that I ended up also purchasing a sofa with matching chair. Financing was easy and affordable. I gave a reasonable down payment and my monthly payments are $45 a month!!! AMAZING!!! Especially after a big move this is perfect. Definitely recommend Ashley Furniture on Broadway ask for Juan. Btw will be returning soon to purchase a new mattress with electric base. Whoop whoop I can’t wait!

Came in the store to feel the futons and see my options. The sales rep Tyjuan was patient enough to show me around the store , answer my many questions , and offer me different customization options . I was searching for a futon to be my couch and discovered you can custom build a couch instead . I left the store with a travel size pillow to test out the wool, and bedding sheet set . Things i didn’t plan on purchasing but couldn’t resist . Prices are fair, services is excellent (esp nowadays where quality customer service is declining), knowledgeable reps, and the store environment was zen ,inviting and air conditioned in this hot Sept weather. Will be back once I decide on my choice of living room sitting furniture . Definitely recommend visiting the store as you can place a feel to their online selection .

Amazing buying experience and rock solid futon frame! Our last futon frame which we ordered online broke in a matter of months because it was made with cheaper wood, so we came here and got a real hardwood futon frame. We were in immediate need of a new frame so they sold us a floor model, which was very generous of them. Highly recommend and will come here for all future futon needs.

Monaliza helped me in the store. She was very sweet and very helpful. I came in to the store and told her that I had scoliosis, and she had the expertise to ask questions about my scoliosis, and how that would affect me purchasing a couch. She showed me several options and describe how each option could be helpful in a different way when I am sitting on the couch. We walked through scenarios of using the couch so that she can get a better understanding of the features that I would require. To my surprise I purchased a couch and financed it over one year. I was supposed to go to five other stores today but now I have the whole day free because she was very helpful.

The owner a really angry Korean woman had a disgusting hateful attitude, she was raised wrong by her parents. You can tell she’s very miserable and hates working there she has no business working with the public because she has a ugly personality. Her furniture is cheap particle board from china breaks easy don’t come here they don’t believe in God and treat people like trash. They will reap what they sow I’ve never been treated so poorly with my child only because I wanted to negotiate on the price of a privacy screen that I purchased there a year ago and was now $50 higher, I get price increase but $50 price increase is ridiculous, I paid $40 a year ago now the same screen is $90!! she screamed and behaves like a mad woman and got offended, prices are too high for such cheap furniture, that’s why I only purchased a privacy screen but I won’t even give them my business or recommend anyone goes there, praying God punishes her because I’m a child of God and she clearly is satanic

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Literally no one knows what’s going on, they happily swipe your card and take your money for items that takes months to arrive (if it even arrives at all) and just overall dishonest and will tell you anything just to get you out the door. I honestly wish I never gave this store the time of day, but here I am fighting to get almost 1k back from a rug ordered Feb 8th that I never received and even had the manager reassure me it would be received by April 28th after numerous delays. RUN the other way and spend your money anyplace else besides west elm

Large store with everything neatly laid out and not one thing I wanted in stock. There was no one else in the store when I was asking the saleswoman questions and she was texting the whole time while I was standing right in front of her. Literally trying to show her a product on their website and she wouldn’t stop texting. Then told me not to order online but to order to their store so they get credit. Hell to the naw 👎🏼

i've purchased twice from west elm and both times had major issues. once they delivered the wrong item and made me pay for the shipping of the correct item. hard to believe, right? and the second time they left these huge boxes in my living room without unpacking and putting the furniture together like the white glove service promised. please take your business elsewhere to avoid constant headaches.

Worst customer service ever !!!! 👎🏽 The Chinese lady that sits next to a table is disgustingly rude and does not help at all. 😪Prices are extremely high and for a piece of furniture that only will last you less than a year. Ive bought furniture here before and my experience with the furniture does not last. Also nobody helps you out on questions you might have. Don't waist your time going to this store I have seen better stores out there and more afordable prices close by the area.

Walked in the store no workers. I saw 2 Mexicans & 1 older Asian guy talking, I asked them who could help me, they looked at me and kept talking. A Asian lady walked right pass me, She didn't say anything, I didn't know if she was a customer or someone who worked there. I walked out to see if someone was outside, NO ONE CAME TO HELP ME. I will make it my business to find a store that knows how to properly handle African American customers

The problem with going to furniture stores is that you feel like the sales are highly pressured because the employee's make commission only sometimes. That is not the case with this location.
