Our house was just as awesome as the pictures showed it to be. Simply beautiful, warm and welcoming. It felt like home. The views of the ocean from all three decks were beautiful. The rocking chairs on each deck where a perfect touch. House is in a nice quiet area, but still close to everything. In walking distance to alot. We had a group of 14, and with so much room, we didn't feel crowded at all. There is so much space. The game room and swimming pool were nice. I wish there were bigger bbq grills and at each home, not just small ones by the pool. By day seven, climbing three flights of steps wore me out, but I would do it again. Our vacation was perfect. I would definitely book with this company again. Check-in and check-out were a breeze.
We had an amazing experience at Myrtle Beach thanks to This app! It kept us organized and focused on everything we needed to make our golf experience memorable!
Lakewood is an awesome place to camp! Has been for many years! But this coming and having many of the restrooms closed at 12am when tent camping is no accommodation to your guest! I understand all the things that the front office said, things such as it’s keeping the homeless from taking up at night in the bathhouses and being safety for the guest but we have been camping at Lakewood for years and this year they decided to implement this rule! But accommodating your guest should be yours biggest concern! What about the elderly who have to go to the bathroom at 2am across the campground or those who don’t have a golf cart to go. You don’t want guest on the campground after quiet hours but security chases them down when they are trying to find the few bathhouses that are open. This rule needs to be changed for your guest! Your manager thats on duty tonight 05/24/24 needs to be taught how to be professional instead of rude especially when there are other guest in the office during a conversation! And again this rule needs to be changed for tent campers!! Bathhouses need to be open 24hrs like in the past! Things happen at night that may require a bathroom near by. This company makes enough money to hire 24hr security employee to watch cameras if needed! Again accommodate your guests that tent camp or who doesn’t have a bathroom!
Always loved this campground. But this year I have some suggestions
1. Make an adults only pool. The only pool has kids doing handstands in the pool and kicking you in the face when they cone down. Kids jumping on top of you from the sides of the pool. Also, they keep the pool entrances locked, if an emergency comes up you can’t get out!!!

2. Unlock pool entrances and get more chairs!!!! Handicapped people have a hard time getting in and out. Kids running everywhere!! Very hard for older adults to navigate

Have a seafood Resturant onsite!! It would be great to not have to leave the campground!!!!
Lakewood is an awesome campground and the staff members here are friendly and knowledgeable. My brother in law had a newborn grandchild pass away on our second day here, and they had to leave of course. The campground and golf cart rental both refunded his money, and offered their sincere condolences to he and his wife. I thought that was very gracious of Lakewood to do that, and appreciate it very much. Thank you Lakewood!
P.S. Our site (#2018). If you're going to reserve this site, bring boards and plenty of leveling blocks because it is pretty soft sand at this site. Great site, just soft. Enjoy your stay, WE DID!
I would give this place 5 stars, but one of the main reasons we come here is because of the water park with the water slides, splash pad and lazy river... Which apparently are only open now on weekends when we arrived. So pretty much the whole vacation it was inaccessible. We did enjoy the beach that is right there and the indoor pool, but the indoor pool is heavily chlorinated and sometimes stingy and stinky. Plus even when it's warmer they don't open the top windows and side windows for the breeze so it gets stuffy inside. We do like the coffee shop, on site store, shaved ice, fried fish shack, fishing holes and ice cream Parlor that is on site. There is also Corn Hole to pay and basketball. The playground is fun for the kiddos too!
Great accommodations paired with four incredible courses. Very thorough management of package and would highly recommend them!
It's sad that businesses are so hard up for money theses days. I made a reservation at Lakewood 22 to 26 I found out a few minutes later the fates wouldn't work for us. Due to work times. I call to cancel and was told there would be a $25.00 fee. Which would be higher later in the season. It doesn't cost anything to push buttons. Other then that Lakewood is a nice location. Nice amenities. Just a little money hungry. Can't win them all I guess.
Very easy to book and Jeff was very informative on what type of package we should go with for the skill level of the group. I would definitely recommend for anyone new to the Myrtle Beach Golf scene. Having lodging and tee times all booked and managed on one app made it very easy and clear.
We were a group of 16 golfers and we all enjoyed our time in Myrtle Beach. We played 5 different golf courses during our stay and they were all great, except two that was wilted.
The accommodations ( 2 condos ) were pretty good but needed some minor upgrades but were very spacious. All appliances worked well. Pool and hot tub were clean and great but the pool wasn’t heated. Overall, we were all happy with the entire experience!
Exceptional. I cannot say enough about the work Jeff did on our behalf. After years of managing these trips ourselves we made the decision this year to utilize a service. Golf Trek made everything so very easy. From booking the tee times well in advance to finding suitable accommodations, everything was covered. The simplicity of payment processing and the available app to manage it all more than exceeded expectations.
We visited Lakewood during springbreak with a couple of other families and friends. Campsites were in great condition with plenty of space. Staff was super courteous and professional. Access to the beach was simple and convenient. The waterpark being included as part of your booking is an absolute plus and our kids loved the water slides and splash park. The only knock would be the arcade. Each game is ridiculously expensive for each play. They could really lower the price per play.
We have been to Lakewood nearly every year since we purchased our camper! It has become our happy place- where our now teens can't stop talking about when we can go back! They continue to upgrade and make it EVEN better each season! We chose Lakewood for the family friendly "just right" mix of shade and sun, activities and relaxation and it has yet to disappoint. The bathhouses are plentiful and clean and constantly being upgraded! The waterslides and pools, snacks, activity schedule for all ages are all bonuses to the serene clean location with excellent security and staff.
Our 2 groups had an awesome time in Myrtle Beach this year (Mid March). I worked with Julie Sanders and we were able to book 5 good courses and stay in beautiful 4 bedroom condos overlooking the ocean!! Julie made it easy to pick and choose 5 courses that were all good while keeping our cost on target!! A big thanks to Julie!! I will definitely be calling Julie again in the near future to help us set up our 2025 annual Myrtle Beach trip!!
In 2022 We stayed in the owner Mrs Aiello studio condo on the 8th floor of the Renaissance Tower. We booked directly through her instead of VRBO or Airbnb. The condo was amazing and Mrs. Aiello is an amazing person to deal with. I didn't get pictures of all the pools but there are 3 plus a lazy river. They have large chest game and park for kids. It is a gated community! We will definitely book again with her when we go back! If you'd like to book with her you can find her on Facebook Myrtle Beach Resort Condo . She owns 3 condos there

I do not like the overcrowded hotel, inn, motel, and resorts of beach places. Ocean Plaza parking is decent, and the rooms are clean and accommodating (kitchen, clean bathroom, and comfortable).

We stayed in 602 in the towers its a clean room, bed is comfortable. That being said it is small but cute. However this was not a good vacation. We have stayed many time in the tower over the years and have loved it. This time not so much. The construction they are doing has been so loud we cant talk or hear tv. We got this room for the ocean view to enjoy relaxing on the balcony. Except for sunday, that wasnt possible because of the noise. Also no amenities at the tower includibg the side pool. The noise was also bad sitting on the beach. Also if you have any issues walking. Alot of the area is shut off and you will be walking alot. I have copd so this was a big hurdle for me. We wont be staying again. All this needs to be diclosed at time of booking in detail so a person really knows what to expect. I understand that construction was needed but had i known i would have booked elsewhere this time till all construction was completed. Very disappointed!
Gated Resort, feel very safe. Grounds are well- kept & beautiful. Rooms are immaculate. Gazebo for food & drinks. Several pools & Lazy River. Family oriented with Pickleball & Tennis. Great place to stay!
I have been to Myrtle Beach Resort 5 times in the last 8 years, and this time has been the worst experience so far and I will not be returning because of it. We used to love coming here, the location was great, room was nice and it was just a great place to bring the family for our vacation, but that’s not the case anymore. The amount of money we paid for the condition of the rooms is ridiculous. The rooms are not the cleanest upon check in, one room smelled musty and mildewy, while the other had a STRONG smell of urine. The property just looks really run down and not taken care of anymore. It’s been very disappointing and next time we will spend our hard earned money elsewhere.
Jason was excellent to deal with. This was a last minute decision to go on a trip from Dec. 27/22 to Jan. 1/23. Our first trip to Myrtle Beach. This was also our first experience at using a booking type of company. Very prompt with responses and also was very flexible in changing some of the golf courses from the original suggestions. The condo at Seawatch Resort was excellent with a beautiful view of the ocean. The 4 golf courses we played were all very good. We are going to make this an annual trip...however a few days longer...next year.

NEW TRIP IN 2023/2024
We are from Ontario and have used Golf Trek (Jason H) for the past two years. First year we did a 5 day trip...it was excellent so this year we did a 12 day trip over the Xmas holidays. Once again it was excellent and he was very professional. The reviews on Google for this company are very good. Once thing you have to remember is that going to Myrtle Beach, particularly over the winter holidays...is very good value. The prices are very good. You also have to remember that some of the accommodation is older so make sure you do your research and let Golf Trek know that you want higher end accommodation which will not change the overall price very much. We also went with 4 to 5 star golf courses. We played 7 rounds in 10 days. All of the courses were beautiful and in really good shape for December. The seven courses that we chose and that I would recommend are: Myrtle Beach National - King's North, Caledonia, Arrowhead, True Blue, Heritage, TPC Myrtle Beach and Barefoot - Love Course.
This is a great campground right on Surfside Beach. Lower part of Myrtle Beach. I enjoyed all the activities they had including corn toss, shuffleboard and the mini golf course was the best. All included in the stay. This is an RV/trailer resort/campground.
