I had a problem with the lights not working in my cooker hood. Abbas came and tested it and said it would be the transformer. Told me that they are about £90 if he can find one but would be in touch. Said it would be better to get a new hood which he had for £300. I had to then pay him £49 for the call out, he was only there for 5 minutes. He didn’t get back to me, I contacted him and he said I would be better just getting a new one altogether and wasn’t very helpful. I went on Amazon found the part for £6 and fitted it myself.
Brilliant service turn up on time very polite engineer had my dishwasher fixed in no time and no spare parts needed .Even gave me free advice on my temperamental microwave !would definitely recommend

Hawk Appliances responded promptly to our request. We reported a broken washing machine. The repair was quick and effective. Our machine was back to life within a short time. I believe in the competence of the company to deliver in repairs of washing machines.
I have used Moston appliances a couple of times and was always happy with their customer services and flexibility and they are reasonably priced. However even though he was pleasant and did really good job installing my washing machine I was very dismayed that I was left with this at the end! Whilst this may have been unavoidable (although I am sure it could have been neater) I feel it very unfortunate and not a little distressing that I wasn’t advised before the work commenced on how it would look eg leaving my door on my new and expensive painted wood cabinet doors a mess (even if only hinges inside!)

Lee is honest and responsive. Does not overcharge and provides an excellent service. He’s a genuinely nice person and excellent tradesman. Have now used him more than once and will continue to do so. I would highly recommend him.

Couldn't recommend higher. Lee came and salvaged a very old built in freezer for us. Saved us a load of money / hassle and is just a genuinely lovely bloke! Really reasonable as well

Dave saved the day...cooker oven decided to break down week before Christmas. Typically the warranty company couldn't come out for weeks. Given Daves number by DC electrical and he knew right away what the problem was. Ordered the part and sorted within 5 days...excellent service. Cheers Dave.

Lee was round in May 2023 to fix a gasket on my washing machine; in the process of that repair, he broke two of the four buttons on the machine. Any professional would have just come back and fixed them but not Lee: he proceeded to ignore all my calls and any texts asking if he could come and finish the repair for seven months.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! A repair man came to look at my washing machine and said in 5 mins what the problem was. Put £80 in back pocket and said would return to fix. Never returned. Customer services not interested. Our hard earned money given to a man who has changed his numbers. NAC not bothered. DO NOT USE !!!!!!!! SCAM !!!!

Our oven grill was tripping the fuse (which luckily we've recently had done) so we knew what we needed. Rang on the Friday, they came out on the Monday, ordered the parts for us and fitted by Friday and took the original call out charge off the final bill. Lovely guys explained everything and were very professional. Would highly recommend and would use again.

Recently used their services for replacement parts on my washing machine and dryer. Very reliable, reasonably priced and staff helpful and courteous. I’m all for supporting local businesses so feel very lucky to have them on my doorstep. Will use them again.
Contacted for washing machine repair. Quick response & a visit arranged within days. Repair carried out by Gavin. Efficient & effective repair. I was told the cost of call out & the cost of repair which a lot less than replacement. Gavin explained what was at fault & the failing part. He was respectful of my home & cleaned away after repair completed. I had been hesitant to use a company with no previous recommendations from friends. Lee was fantastic. Came to see our broken oven the same day I contacted him. Talked me through everything he was doing and why, which I found really helpful. He found the most cost effective solution for the problem and saved us having to buy a new oven. I'm really grateful to him and highly recommend him.

Phoned on the Monday morning to report that my oven wasn’t heating up. All fixed with new part before tea time on Tuesday. Very efficient and everything working as normal again.
Matt did a brilliant job of fixing our tumble dryer. His response time to my enquiry was quick and it was straightforward to make an appointment. He was polite and worked efficiently to fix the problem. It was a great value service and I would definitely recommend and use again in the future.
Fantastic service from Matt at South Manchester Domestics. Arrived on time. The job, mending a dryer, involved unexpected problems, but he took a lot of trouble to sort them out and made sure all was tunning perfectly before he left. He is very professional, polite and friendly.

Charged us £320 to repair our washing machine only for it to have the same fault 6 months later. Told us we should have to come to them for a new one when it broke for thr 2nd time, yet they recommended we repair it the 1st time around as they said it had plenty of years left in the appliance. Avoid this firm they don't have their customers interests at heart.
We wanted to try and support local businesses when we bought our new house and appliance world in Urmston had been recommended. We can see why. We visited on a couple of occasions, once to browse and second time to order. The staff have the right balance of offering help and advice without being overbearing. One thing I liked was the man we ordered with didn't automatically steer us towards the most expensive appliances when we were asking questions to make our decision. He was v helpful and knowledgeable. I was particularly impressed when they delivered our washing early for us- the next day after asking -as our old one broke, for no extra charge. Would definitely buy from here again

Used them for many years. Repaired my vacuum cleaners, cooker, microwave, etc. Always on time, polite and give excellent service.
I return time and time again here. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Very friendly on the phone or when you call in. I have had various appliances from them. They tell you honestly whether your appliance can be repaired. No high pressure selling. My washer broke down recently. Contacted them and in less than a week, they came out, delivered and fitted a new washer at a reasonable price all in. This included removal of my old machine. Can't recommend them highly enough. Nice efficient people. Nice family business.

I was with my partner looking for new fridge freezer. The man that is working there had no interest at all that we are there. No good afternoon or do you need any help. Completely ignored us looking at his computer. We have been there good 5-10 min so he had a chance to move back from the counter. Def I do not but anything from that place.

Purchased an oven from these lot not cheap either. Got it deliverd and had a gas engineer fit it. From day one the oven didnt come on. I went into shop the next day and spoke to the rudest woman who told me it wasn't there problem contact zanusi.the thing I find suspicious was that there was no element of shock or any questions about the oven. She didn't seem suprised in the slightest that I came in the next day and said it was broke. I don't know about repairs but don't buy anything here.

Absolutely DISGRACEFUL service. Use at your OWN RISK. I called this guy out over 3 weeks ago to fix my cooker and he charged me £48 for the labour of looking at the cooker AND to fix it. He came over and managed to diagnose the problem and told us he will get back to us in 2 to 3 days. It had gotten to the 3rd day and we had heard NOTHING. So I called up just for him to tell me that he can’t get the part whilst telling me that I need to buy it from EBay for £31.99 I texted him asking what the difference was between 2 that was on there and he just ignored me. Several messages later and still nothing. Me and my partner must of called over 15 times with NO answer whatsoever. It just rings and rings then goes through to voicemail which then tells me is full for me to leave a message which is very suspicious imo. I have come to the conclusion that because he is in the bury area and I am in the M3 (Salford/Manchester) area, he has put me down as too far out to do the full job and come back to fit the part but still thought he could take money off me for the first visit. Absolutely disgusting how I’ve now lost £48 for half a job and no other company will come out just to fit the part as they have to look at it all again costing me more money (£120!) I am glad I didn’t buy the part and waste my money for him to not bother as other companies I have contacted told me that the part he recommended wasn’t even correct. I have had NO choice to take this up with my bank as a retail dispute so hopefully it will come in my favour and I’ll get a refund otherwise I have lost nearly £200! The guy is a con artist, stay away! Completely unprofessional service. Would NOT recommend whatsoever. (Notice how other bad reviews on google and his website have also stated how he doesn’t get back to you whilst he responds with lies that he hasn’t received your calls and “always gets back to my customers” which is a complete LIE.)
£10 call out charge. He took a quick look and quoted for repair. Took about 40 minutes and left the place clean. Very happy as substantially less than cost to replace, and dishwasher now working well (and quietly). Pleasant guy, easy to deal with.

Good range of appliances, good variation of pricing. Show room could be a little more presentable and cleaner. But overall customer services and assistance was good. Will go back when required.

This company came highly recommended to me. They came out promptly as promised and when they couldn’t fix my machine on the spot, took it away to be stripped down. Unfortunately it couldn’t be fixed as the part is now obsolete. However I was really impressed at their whole attitude - they were polite, informative and friendly. I will definitely contact them in the future if I need anything else fixed. I recommend them for anyone looking for a competitively priced and expert repair service.

Very convenient service, came as we got home from work to fix a dishwasher and tap pressure issue. Sorted in 15 mins and was pleasantly surprised by the fairness of the call out fee! Would use again and would recommend. Very professional and courteous.
Pleasant enough people but £69.90 + VAT call out fee for 20 minutes quick look at appliance (without inspecting internal components) to tell you it's not cost effective to repair ain't great value!!

Lee from the Appliance Centre visited today to diagnose the problem with the washing machine; this was done in minutes! Pleasant, easy to talk to guy, carried out the fix within 40 minutes, also gave practical advice on keeping the machine maintained. Also a general tip to all those who use a washing machine, leave the door ajar after a wash, it will help to ventilate your machine, reducing mould build-up and odours. Happing washing 😊

Brilliant - Friendly - Quick. Lee and his colleague came to my mums house to move the old cooker to my dad which was only walking distance away but cause I don't have the equipment it would have been hard for me to do this. They made sure the cooker was fitted correctly and made sure it worked. I would definitely recommend these guys. And the price was also worth it. 5* Service

Dave called out to repair my washing machine he ordered the part and was fixed the following day he was very polite and friendly would definitely recommend him, would call him out again it anything goes wrong, excellent service.
