DO NOT EAT HERE. I used to Love Villa Madina. I still do (only some locations) I’ve been eating since I was 8 years old. This used to be a good location 5-6 years ago. What’s bad about it ? The food has no taste. I just ate and I was given blocks of chicken that I couldn’t even eat in 1 bite if I wanted to. Not to mention no taste. The potatoes were so dry I had to throw it out of my mouth. And believe me this is not the first time they’ve had dry potatoes. The quantity used to be so good before. But they are so stingy now. Barely enough quantity. And not to mention the staff is ridiculously rude and arrogant. Hate this place now. No taste or flavour and horrible staff. No reason to go anymore. I hope if anyone sees this not that I think they will please fix it. This is ridiculous. No one pays $20 for one person’s meal to get food that has no taste with a side of attitude.

servers are very impatient and want to just get done with the order. rice was not salted. beef shawarma lack flavours. Whenever me and family went to square one, we always used to eat from here as it was delicious and provided good customer service. But after this experience, I will not order from here. I will keep an eye on the reviews with the hope that they bring back the authentic taste of villa madina.

Staff are not very friendly and helpful. I tried this place for the first time, and was very disappointed. The food was oily, and my chicken had pieces of unedible fat. The portion of rice is huge, but the same cannot be said for the salads which are actually healthy for you. I don't recommend spending money at this place. The quality of food doesn't match what you end up paying for. Also, this message is to the person who keeps copying and pasting the message about sharing more about our experiences-there is nothing more to share. Customer service and food quality need to be improved. It's as simple as that.

I love middle astern food, but this place, I favoured for so many years every time I go to Square on, however, the last year or so, the quality of the food have been declining dramatically, the customer service is just dry, no smile from anyone that works there. I have attached a photo of what was ordered, I personally do not mind paying any amount for a decent meal, but to have such horrendous, very dry meal in front me, I just could not let it go. The Kofte did not taste or look like Kofte, the falafel was the absolute worst i have tried and the Tabbule, I make 10 times better one at home, and I am not even a cook. I asked for the manager, and instead of trying to absorb my disappointment and frustration, he insisted that the food is good and all their customers were satisfied. Unfortunately for him, he has no way of knowing that if no one posts a review, most people at square one food court, have a million options, and I can assure you, that if anyone went to eat from this place, anything beyond their mediocre Shawarma, will be very disappointed and will never go back.. I personally would never recommend this place to anyone..

This is one of the only shawarma restaurants that still have the beef on the spinner. The service is great and food always taste very very good. Which is why I give this place a 5 start :)

This place is one of the best Shawarmah places in Mississauga downtown core. Amazing food, very delicious and filling (very generous portion), the taste was amazing, and the service top notch. Only those who understand what Shawarmah and doner tastes like will understand the quality of this joint. They also offer kebabs and Iskandar and Adana kebab. I loved the place from food to service and atmosphere. Good job, Mr. Zagros, you made my experience worthy. On top of all the prices are way much better than any other Shawarmah and all the menu very affordable.

I ordered for myself and my 2 yr old son. It is our first time eating Syrian food and we loved it. We’re both sick so I wanted a homey soup and chicken and fries. Everything was very tasty. I was worried after reading the review that dine-in is better than delivery. When I opened the food and saw the quantity and quality, I knew I would be writing a good review.

The chicken shawarma platter came with so much chicken. No where else have I received that much chicken, even after paying $5+ for extra meat. It was juicy and there were big slices of chicken plus small charred typical shawarma chicken. It was juicy, tender, and plentiful. Perfect score. I asked in notes for extra pickles and got lots.

The pea soup was very good. Comes with lots of crackers and lemon.

After filling up and having lots of leftovers, I realized I hadn’t even opened the complimentary bag of bread. It was full of warm fluffy bread, enough to feed a family of 8 actually.

Maybe we got lucky on our sick day but I’m so glad I decided to try something new and get Syrian. I will be going in person soon to try some new dishes with my son.

We were visiting from the USA and tried this Middle Eastern restaurant. I can’t express how amazing the experience was at this authentic and quaint restaurant. The food was wow….from the shawarma, to the fatet hummus, fried cheese, and falafel and the fresh juices. Oh and the bread was freshly made in their wood fire oven. The presentation was on point and made you feel you were in the Middle East with all the dishes, platters and tea, coffee kettles they serve you with. It was all amazing! The service was exceptional too. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants great Mediterranean food and dessert. The kenafa was also so delicious too.

Exceptional Service and Good quality food. A recommended place to take your friends or family. Reservation is preferred but call the restaurant and they may let you know how busy it is if online do not show any slot.
Good Ambience and the staff explains you in detail if there are any questions on the menu.
Grill Mixed platter is good. The meat is either beef or chicken. They don't serve lamb.
The cheese grill was little salty. Hummus Fattatna was great.
Overall very good experience.

Food was bland. Portion size is meeehh. Not worth $20 for a chicken shawarma platter. No dressing for the salad. Garlic sauce is bland and watery. Osmows is up the street. Save the dissapointment and go there. Too bad. Won't be back

Very generous portions and incredible hospitality. My first time trying Syrian food and I'm a fan. The server took his time to explain the various dishes and made recommendation on their most popular dishes. We had a table of 12 and ordered a bit of everything. The host was very generous, gave us cheese samosa on the house. If you like cheese, you'll love these.

Started with a very light and creamy hummus. Pita bread is fresh and unlimited. Followed by chicken liver and fries, beef Fatteneh, and baba ganoush. All were exceptional and the addition of pomegranate added a burst of contrasting flavor which help cut through the richness.

The mixed skewer platter was slightly dry and the spices used were on the mild side. The beef shawarma on the other hand was moist with crispy edges, highly recommend the shawarma platter.

You leave this place feeling satisfied, full and most importantly, not groggy. The food here is clean and not packed with grease.

guys, thank you so much for such a good “looking food”!!! in the beginning was okay but then I recognised how many vegetables I had in my shawarma. it was tasty, but almost no chicken and a lot of cabbage and pickles. I still have these pickles in my head, there were so many of them. I was very frustrated…

Entered the establishment with my significant other and our best friend to a WHIP of hot air! Immediately started to sweat! Me and significant other mixed shawarma poutine. Mines had garlic sauce, cucumbers and tomatoes. Significant other had just garlic sauce with the poutine for $12.99 plus tax, each. The food was great but I didn't like that the cashier didn't ask if there's a specific size we wanted they just put it straight into take out containers which were really small for $12.99 plus tax. Our best friend ordered a chicken shawarma wrap with tahina, garlic sauce, onions and pickles. An 8 inch very slim wrap for $12.99 plus tax as well. (My friend didn't ask for a slim wrap it was sadly made like that) Dining area was not bad, clean tables but very difficult napkin holders to take the napkins out of. Besides no music or tv to watch it was an okay experience.

I ordered chicken shawarma with hummus topping don’t know about all photos posted in google map, but this is what I got. No sauce, no veggies, just chicken, hardly you can swallow it!

Taste was okay, not really worth $30. On menu it made it seem like more food than it was

Great tasting salads, shawarma meats, and sauces.

My favourite garlic sauce is from here, but they were stingy with the portions. The staff were not very welcoming and rushed to finished my order even thought it was morning and I was the only customer.

Had an excellent dining experience for groups of 4. Food was great.

My recent experience at Roman Zaman was fantastic - this was our second time at the restaurant, and we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service.

The starters we ordered - Hummus Beiruty, Labneh & Foul - were delicious and the perfect way to start our meal. The Kibbeh nayyeh was unique and flavorful, and we enjoyed trying something new.

For the entrees, we had the Shawarma & Arais, which were both cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The portions were generous, and we felt satisfied with our meal.

To top it off, we enjoyed an excellent knafeh for dessert, which was the perfect sweet treat to end our meal. With a piping hot cup of tea, it was the cherry on top of our fantastic dining experience.

We came across this wonderful restaurant while dropping off our niece at a birthday party. The food is of Syrian Cuisine, and because of the way it was served, it looked very tantalizing. It made us feel like we were sitting in a restaurant somewhere in Syria. The restaurant was very clean, the ambient was very nice, and the background music was pleasant. While we were there one of the guests was celebrating a sons birthiday and the servers brought out a desert and sang a birthday song in Syrian to which a number of the other guests joined in and clapped, including children that were there. The service was excellent, and our server "Halah" was very friendly. She took the time to explain the different menu selections and recommended some things she thought we might like based on our discussions about our preferences, which included both meat and vegetarian options. The portions were a very good size, and my wife and I ended up sharing everything while still having leftover food to take home. Since our first visit, we have been back to the restaurant 2 more times, including with friends, who also enjoyed the experience. If you are looking for a wonderful dining experience, we definitely recommend this place.

Delicious, quick & friendly. I grabbed a chicken doner wrap, it was quite large (good value). Absolutely love that they mix all the ingredients in a bowl before putting wrap together... Ensures every bite includes all the ingredient-flavours.

Authentic Syrian food with excellent service.

The tables are pretty large. The entire restaurant is clean and organized. The staff is respectful and service is good.

They come pretty often and check on you. They took the orders patiently, the food didn't take too long to come out.

We ordered a lot of brunch stuff. The chicken liver was amazing, hummus, tea, and Arabic coffee were good.

The portions are large and the prices are very fair considering the portion, service, and authenticity.

The bathrooms are clean, and the theme matches the authenticity. There is a prayer room as well. Very child friendly as well.

There is no doubt the chicken platter tastes good.

But….

What about the customer service?

Except the girl working on the cash everyone seemed like they don’t respect the customers. Had a very straight face and a weird attitude while asking for options.

Also it’s actually like an assembly line, half of the platter will be prepared by guy x and the other half by guy y and you move around the counter to place your order and ensure that both the guys listened to what you want. The experience can surely be improved.

And most importantly the quantity is very less for the price they charge and as compared to what other shawarma places provide.

The salad & sauces taste good.

Amazing food and the staff are all so nice and polite. Bushra is the best, she was accommodating to our requests and always makes sure we're taken cared of. I've been to the other branches and this location by far has the best flavor. We can't wait to go back!
