I flew into PDK and was looking for great organic all natural ingredients grown food. This was the perfect place, and it's right outside the Lenox Mall. My chauffeur dropped me off, and the staff were very welcoming.
The chicken parmigiana was the best I have had in years and gluten-free breaded.
Everything was delicious, even the pumpkin pie.

I would highly recommend this restaurant? Absolutely
Would I return? Absolutely

Don't take my word for it. Go see for yourself!

Till next time

It's like something Whole Foods put together. The food is very good but there's only a limited selection. The iced tea is outrageous- $6.50! Service is OK. But the prices don't make it a top choice to return too often. I had the meatloaf and it was very good. Unfortunately, the chairs are not too comfortable. Probably want to get people to move along. Desert menu is limited. No non-dairy selections. High priced for what is there.

Hands down the best meal I had while traveling to Atlanta. It was so refreshing to find a place with healthy vegan options. The bowl I had was loaded with tasty veggies and an amazing pesto sauce. The self-serve ordering process was quick and easy. I only wish I could have stayed to try more of the menu options.
Food was very good and reasonably priced. All the workers were very nice and super attentive. I actually live out of state from here and I would drive down again just to eat here. Highly recommend the cheese naan and the tandoori chicken wings !

I met the manager or owner the day before. I introduced myself and told him that I found them on the internet. I was looking for something healthy to order for my staff and wanted to know the process. He explained everything to me and fast forward to today I placed my order thru Uber eats.

The food is absolutely delicious and the right portion for the price. I ordered the My Fair Lady and added feta cheese. I don’t eat dressing I am sure it would be even more tastier . However without the flavor with those raisins was so darn yummy delicious!!!😋

I can’t wait to place another order for myself and my staff at Warby Parker 🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗
There's a reason this eatery has almost all 5-star reviews. Naomi was our server and she gave us great recommendations. After that, there was no wait and the atmosphere was worth eating in, just like we planned. The juice selection tops off a great dining experience. We traveled here for work and wanted to stay healthy for our evening meal. Thanks to True Food Kitchen, we did good. YOU did good, and thanks for a great dining experience with great food!

Got my order wrong twice they don’t pay attention to details on top that poor customer service. Didn’t really want to remake the salad and on top of that the dark skin lady writing the front register has poor customer service! Speaking goes a long way especially when you’re paying $20 for a salad. I DO NOT recommend! I Said NO RADISH
Alex was an amazing server. This was my first time trying True Food Kitchen and he was very nice and extremely knowledgeable about the food on the menu. He even showed me pictures of each food I inquired about on his phone. This was a plus for me because I am visual person. The food came out quicker and was fresh! The food was top tier and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out. I will be back again and again!

We’ve always come back here for great food and good vibes. However, the server this time wasn’t too attentive. We weren’t given any cutlery to begin with. The chicken ordered from kids menu came burnt. We asked it to be replaced and it was served again after 15 minutes. I ordered a Teriyaki quinoa bowl for myself. But I got a chicken bowl first time and an ancient grains bowl the second time. Still didn’t get what I ordered!! The hummus and the pizza were excellent. The house-made pita was so good that we asked for more. Not sure if I’ll come back to this True Food location again:(

Had excellent customer service and you can tell they are truly passionate about what they do. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to try the arepa because they were sold out, but I had a bowl with mushrooms, chickpea mash, spinach, rice, and sweet potatoes. The sriracha sauce was really good on top as well.
Alex- made some amazing recommendations. The food was amazing. He did a great job and explaining how some of the food was made awesome presentation. Friendly person kept checking to see if we were OK. I made some recommendations of some drinks that were superb. I will definitely come here again. He’s definitely a great addition to the true food kitchen team.
I have been coming to this restaurant for about 4 years now and I must say it is the best Indian food I have ever had. The service is amazing and they treat you like family. The staff here are always welcoming and accommodating with my requests. Shakib, always go above and beyond when taking care of my orders. I will always recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Indian food for the first time and seasoned Indian food lovers.

Alex was a kind, knowledgeable and attentive server! He’s very enthusiastic, which is impressive at 8:30 at night on a Thursday. He walked me through the menu, and made helpful recommendations. There was one other server who I didn’t catch the name of, but she was very sweet in bringing me my entree and getting me water and silverware!

The food was great! I got the meatloaf, side salad, and colossal cookie. They were all very yummy, and it was a good portion size and value (this cookie is in fact colossal, I still ate it up tho). I really like the vibe of the place too! Really nice and open interior, you can see the kitchen, and the staff are very friendly with each other which I love! If I was an Atlanta local, I’d definitely come back to this spot.

Alex was the best server. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time explaining the menu as I was new to the restaurant. I truly felt at home. Martin also did an exceptional job in making sure I was comfortable. I dined alone but did not feel alone. They checked on me often. One of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time.

So so delicious yall. All gluten free and FILING. I got the shroommoo one with sweet potato side and it filled me up completely. Different sauce options to try as well. The owners are so sweet and explained how it’s made and you can just tell how excited they are about it! Lots of seating and good atmosphere - definitely try this out I promise.
Food was really good. Our server was ver attentive and nice. We stopped for a business dinner with 6 people. Nan bread and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious taste! Loved the decor too!
At the time of this writing Desi Spice has a 4.2 rating. That is ridiculous. This place is incredible! The tandoori, curries, drinks, and desserts are all stellar. The outdoor seating is great, and the service is always amazing. I’ve lived in Atlanta for ~3 years now and this has been a staple for me. Highly recommend.

It was a little hard to find but it was good! Feels like the same few ingredients just mixed in different bowls but they were great with allergies.
I arrived 20 minutes before close and the service was phenomenal, food came out FRESH. I got the vegetable Tika Masala and garlic Naan, it was sooooo good.

Update: Went again and it tasted even better the second time!!!

Discovered this place while in Krog Street. This bowl was amazing and I loved being able to customize my own bowl! Will be coming back and have already recommended lots of friends in the ATL area
If you’re in the market for a true foodie experience, this is the place! From the warm welcome as you walk through the door, to the way they took the time to explain the delightful menu options, it’s really easy to fall in love with Phat Yuca.

I had the HellaVegan with a side of sweet potatoes drizzled with the mouthwatering white garlic sauce. Truly an explosion of flavors! The yuca pocket literally melts in your mouth...downright delicious!

Between the friendly service, the savory menu and the chill music, this place is a total VIBE!

When in doubt eating at Upbeet is always a good idea! They food is fresh, filling, tastes delicious and overalls healthy. They are not stingy and provide a nice size serving and you leave happily full. They have a variety of bowls on the menu or create your own.

I’m a Colombian arepa expert, and as soon as we walked in we were received with great costumer service. Their arepas were so good we are definitely coming back and telling all my Colombian friends. I ordered the shredded chicken with avocado and spinach, for my side it was kale. I am highly impressed by Phat Yucca.

Quality of food: I only ordered 1 item - the Brussel sprouts which were TOP NOTCH! The sauce and flavor were phenomenal and it had the perfect crisp. I wanted to also order the loader sweet potato fries but was sad to see it was sold out.

Experience of order: definitely a different concept to place the order. They have the menu on the wall with a tablet computer for you to place your own order and pay. Then when it’s ready, the staff call your name. It’s probably the wave of the future though, allowing companies to hire less staff (esp in a time when it’s hard to find good folks who want to work)

Would i recommend? The Brussel spirited absolutely!! Since I’ve only gone once I can’t comment to if they’re often out of certain items or not. But I would like to return to try the loaded sweet potato fries. The other items on the menu like the bowls seemed a bit overpriced to me and thus I was not interested in ordering those.

Food is great, but would encourage the landlord here to improve the parking signage.

Signage as you enter mentions not parking in the IronWorks lot, but doesn't mention the booting policy in the UpBeet lot. If you park in the UpBeet lot for dinner, you'll need to re-park if you're heading anywhere else after or you'll get booted & charged 75 bucks.
This is a delicious spot for anyone looking for arepas, healthy food, tasty food, or allergen-free food! They make gluten-free, vegan, and normal arepas with delicious sauces. We saw them at the Peachtree farmers market and just had to stop by to try it out. And boy are we glad we did! The spot is super cute and they explained everything super well for us! Don’t be alarmed by the size of the arepa, we couldn’t even finish our one as they are super stuffed.

Highly recommend for anyone!!
Totally awesome! I loved everything here - food, ambience, service all! Very much polite staff. Food was amazing, simple yet so much full of flavours. If you are here in Atlanta, I think this one should be a go to Indian restaurant! We ordered mushroom bhaaji, chapati, stuff paratha, mango lassi and vegetable biryani. Interior is also decent and clean.
Excellent customer service and very good food. The vegetable samosas were a nice size and the butter chicken was tender. The sauce was very good as was the rice. Definitely a restaurant I would dine at again.

Great healthy alternative to the Sweetgreen across the street, and other local spots. They have salads, but also warm grain bowls, and smoothies. Pretty large portions for the bowls, and if you add a smoothie you’ll definitely be full - with some to spare.

I gave four stars for the parking entrance (there’s always traffic and multiple people turning at this intersection) and the sometimes *very* long lines inside.

Just order ahead and check it out. Recommended.

Very reliable spot for healthy food. As their menu says, its mostly organic, made quickly much like a chipotle style line, and there is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking wasn’t terrible but its a tough intersection to enter. I did a build your own bowl which was delicious but it does get very pricey (over $21 before tip for a bowl for lunch. This makes it impossible to come here consistently unless you’re legitimately rich).

Every time I’m on the Beltline I always stop to get a bowl. Always satisfied with my order. Except when I tell them to take away one item and give me extra on the item I’m getting. Why do they charge you more. Example I might say I don’t want the strawberries give me extra bananas since banana comes on the bowl.

Was excited to try this place out but it was extremely disappointing. My BLT eggs Benedict had eggs cooked through, they weren’t poached. If this wasn’t a breakfast-lunch place, I wouldn’t be as disappointed. The potatoes for my dish weren’t cooked all the way through. The sauce for the churros tasted artificial. The Apple juice tasted like any generic store-brand. My boyfriend didn’t enjoy his French toast either.

I feel like they need someone to check the food before it goes out. The service was average and the wait time was long for food that wasn’t good.
The inconsistencies with hours of operation is so disappointing. I have made several visits here to find them close when they are supposed to be open along with other customers unaware of the forever changing hours. The rewards system is always down and the text message rewards for money off aren’t accepted here. The bowls are delicious and the service is average.

Great Playlist going on in the background. Bowl was nice. First time having it. Taste like a smoothie bowl with granola.
I had an 8 hour car ride from Knoxville to Florida. I could have gone the easy route and cut through Chattanooga to go home but I decided to cut across to Atlanta, Georgia because I was really craving a Playa Bowl. I googled the business hours online and it said they were open. I got to Playa Bowl at 2pm in the afternoon to find it closed. I’m very disappointed in the business for not making their customers aware, especially when we go to extra lengths to try and give them business. So not only did I have to sit in Atlanta traffic to get home, I had to do that without a bowl. It’s 2023! At least post on social media if you’re going to be closed. I living in Rosemary Beach, FL and go to that Playa Bowl location at least twice a week. Playa Bowl ATLANTA, do better!!!

Overall there were areas of improvement. Upon entering there is an unpleasant smell. No restaurant should smell bad. It took about 15-20 minutes to receive drinks for a table of 2. The side potatoes were burned, which is unfortunate because I was looking forward to that, most. The overall dish was tasty. The side sweet preserves was puzzling because the toast already had an opposing topping on it. What was the jelly for? I ordered the Bacon Omelet.

Went here today with my college friend for lunch at 1pm. Definitely put your name on the wait-list!! Heard about this place, and had to check it out. The food was good and nice location and plenty of parking, in the public parking garage. It's free!! I ordered the biscuit and turkey sausage gravy with season potatoes and a orange juice.
Unfortunately didn’t have a great experience here for a few reasons
-Felt like the value wasn’t there - getting 3 pieces of tofu for the amount they charge for the protein is not worth it; there are other similar options that are a better value in that department
-Not sure what it was exactly, but got a piece of meat in my bowl (vegetarian here so noticed fairly quickly)

It’s possible I had a rough experience but not sure I’d recommend to others. The food itself was otherwise fine / good, nothing out of this world. Surprised by my experience especially since it wasn’t even busy.
Wow, this was so good! We got the vegetarian dinner for two that came with everything in the picture plus samosas and dessert. The food was incredibly tasty and the amount of food was so great for the price. We went with mild+, which wasn’t spicy at all, so we’d probably go with at least medium next time, but it was still super flavorful even though we didn’t get a spicy one. This was plenty for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow too. We will gladly come back! We got it as-is, but substitutions are allowed so you can keep things interesting.

We arrived around 9 in the morning on a Sunday with no reservation and was seated right away. The French toast was sweet. The fruit was fresh and the grits tasted like they were made from scratch. I didn’t care for the iced coffee though. There’s plenty of free covered parking across from the restaurant which is always good.

This is me and my husband's go-to breakfast spot. We always go early, and there is plenty of seating. Service is very good and the food is delivered quickly. I love the carafe of coffee they leave when you order coffee. The menu has a wide variety of choices. The food at my last visit was exceptional! Avocado toast with crab, two eggs, and a side of chicken sausage

Customers wait time was about 45-60 min. Someone recommended this place for brunch, so we thought it must be amazing. In all honesty, the phone was very basic and not favorable. The smoked salmon Benedict was the worst I ever had. The one thing that I liked was the spiked lavender lemonade! I wouldn’t recommend this place and I don’t see myself going again

To start, the vibe is awesome. The music really puts an upbeat feel while you order and eat. The green power bowl is healthy, light, and less sweet. The pink power bowl is on the sweeter side. Overall highly recommend, they have so many bowls to choose from.

Fantastic “healthy” bowl/ smoothie spot! Tons of options with something for everyone including vets and newbies. Everything is fresh and the staff is really friendly. The portions are good sized and the prices are right. Super cool location too am with a nice broad walk to check out and stroll around if you are so inclined! Will go back for sure. It is a chain so look around in other areas for more

The food is excellent. This is just a place you have to pull up and give it a chance. I almost didn't come inside but I'm glad I did. Everything was perfect even the service, Jasmine IS "Upbeet" and very pleasant and funny. The ambiance is perfect and so is the volume of the music. Everything was perfect so this is definitely in my top 10!

*UPDATE*
I’ve been here 5 times so far total, last time I came I had the Curry Up, and the sweet potatoes complement the bowl nicely.

Bomb spot to eat and the kindest people!!
as someone who can’t have gluten it’s amazing to find a place with great flavors and none of the typical anxiety of eating out and having to trust other people with your health. The owner walked me through the menu and let us try all of the sauces, and we had a great convo about food allergies. You can tell they really care about what they’re doing. some clean eateries can seem like they’re trying to be trendy instead of nutritional, but my meal here was so balanced and tasty and packed with protein. a bowl was enough to last me for 2 meals. I’ll be back many times over! Thank you!
P.S. - get the Voodoo sauce, thank me later

Karma Farm is the best gluten free option in GEORGIA. If you are gluten free or vegan you have to try this spot! The food is incredibly clean and you feel super charged after eating here. The sweet potatoes are a MUST and their dessert items (brownie/cowboy bar) are gluten free and better than prepackaged options you can find in the grocery stores. You can dine in or grab to go. Atlanta’s hidden gem.

Recess and Bar Mercado are a combined. I’m reviewing an item on the Recess menu. The patio is great. Not very big but nice. The service we had last night was pretty good but the food was so delicious. The bowl is so flavorful-a nice mix of textures too. The bowl can be all vegetarian or you can add a protein. I didn’t add a meat and it is very filling with more to take home.
If you’re looking for good vegetarian or vegan options, but really just good food, I’d recommend Recess.
