Totally a scam store, first time being there and won’t go anymore, and not recommend at all!
We went to order banh mi, but the card machine is never working. The staff at the counter was super rude and it sounds like our problem. Keep blaming us not paying this. But we checked our bank and the transaction is approved.
And they just didn’t offer any help and assistance to it but blame us not paying it even we showed that the transaction is approved.
Well, definitely not a good experience. The supervisor was trying to help, a star is for her but the staff at the counter, super rude and disrespectful!

I like the store that opened nearby, but the staff in the butchering section are not being very helpful. I was looking for thinly sliced beef for a hot pot party, and the man in the meat section told me to look in the halal meat section. Those are the only sliced beef they have. That is not the case. They only have beef for steak and stew on the shelf. I still could not understand why an Asian supermarket does not have thinly sliced beef. Since it is a frozen product with a long shelf life, I decided to ask an Asian lady instead. She might know better. She said they have it, but when I asked if it was beef, she did not hear me clearly because she had an earbud in her ear. I had to repeat the question, and she said yes. But it turned out to be frozen sliced pork. There was one guy who tried to help, and I could see how willing he was to help. All I am complaining about here is for them to improve their staff's customer service mindset. If they do not have something, just say so. Do not mislead the customer with misinformation.
I visited Aggarwal Grocery Store yesterday and was disappointed with the staff's behavior, particularly from someone named Vaibhav. There was a noticeable lack of courtesy and customer service, as there were no greetings or polite interactions.
I just ordered through Uber eats, when i got the package there was no sooji in there! Very disappointing! You guys should’ve check the bag after preparing and then hand it to driver!
I just bought these red grapes from here and found these. Not safe to eat

Very neat and clean Indian grocery store I've ever visited. Well organized, fresh veggies/fruits, everything easy to found, helpfull and sweet mannered staff. Make it your everyday shopping stop.

They have vast selections of halal meats and poultry certified by HIC Canada and they regularly have weekly deals for halal beef or chicken or lamb and even duck. Marinated beef and chicken selections are also available. For Eid, they can cater to Qurbani needs with free cutting service at no additional costs. Recently, they also added halal processed meats selections on the shelf from Shahir brand (e.g., Turkey bacon, pastrami, pepperonis, etc.). On top of that, they also have great variety of Asian produces and products options and seasonal fruits that can be pretty challenging to find elsewhere like jackfruits and mangosteen.

Very good prices for produce, but a bit pricey for all other items (frozen, grains, etc)
Nice service.

Stay away from Parliament Organic Besan from this store..
We bought Parliament Organic Besan from this store on 31st may and it turned out it is has powdered stone(or maybe some metal i dont know)..because of that anything you cook will leave sand like particle troubling you with every bite.
To prove that i put some besan in water and let it settle down .. vvollaa!! It has lot of black particles that does not dissolve in water.. refer to image for reference.
Dear aggarwal could you please validate quality of this product and stop selling harmful ingredients to consumers. I have kept packet incase you want to validate. Refer to picture for more details.

Terrible service the staff is rude and they don’t care about prices and the cashier asked me if I know that I am buying Indian flour like yea I know I am not dumb and she rolled her eyes with so much ignorance for no reason she is not a nice lady would never come back just go to another store where it’s cheaper and nicer staff 👍🏾
I recently visited Aggarwal Grocery Hub and was very impressed. The store has a great variety of items and is well-organized, making. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help, which made my shopping experience even better.

I bought a glass kettle from the brand Deli Glassware, and I am really happy with it. It's easy to clean, and the handle stays cool even when the water is boiling. This makes it safe and comfortable to use. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and recommend Aggarwal Grocery Hub for their good products and excellent service.
The store is well kept with range of Indian lentils, spices. Dry fruits, other food products and utensils. The best part is it was kept really clean for enhanced shopping experience.
Got cashews seeing at price which was for 6 or 7 $ per lb which was eye catching
Its the stale and long long old stock they are trying to sell
Good option for Indian spies and other items. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always available here. Nice and helpful staff and good service.
My very bad experience about frozen items and very bad customer service by their manager on duty today.
I recently purchased a frozen item from this store and unfortunately, upon trying it, I found it to have a very unpleasant taste. The quality of the product did not meet my expectations at all. It was disappointing to experience such a lack of flavor and overall poor quality in a frozen item.

### Manager's Refusal to Return or exchange of this frozen item

Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the store manager and explaining the situation, I was disappointed to find that they refused to accept the return or exchange of the item or provide any form of compensation. This lack of customer service and refusal to address a valid concern is unacceptable.

I am strongly recommend to avoid using this store for my future purchase..
Their fresh produce are always priced right plus well arranged store. Great job!
The pregnant lady works there was super rude, frustrated, I asked her to help me she said she cant help me you check by your own.. if this sabji mandi staff doest want to work then stay home , you guys dont need to come here and denying others for help. I will never come to this place again and never recommends other frds to come here. I dont know the name but That pregnant lady was super rude that my mood went off and i left the place.

My go to place for all Kerala grocery items. It’s like going back to my home city for shopping!!!
Terrible service especially the subs. Only giving 2 stars because the food is not bad for the price. I got a sub and waited in line. Everyone who ordered after me got theirs before. I did not even order anything special. Sub wasn't even wrapped properly and veggies wer super minìmal

Prices are slightly higher too for veggies and stuff
If you are an Indian who like me loves his mangos and emotions behind it. This is the place. Best mangos and other indian stuff specially Gujrati. Highly recommended! Five star and more. Shop is run by husband and wife who are super friendly and very helpful.

Lucky market is a good place to buy affordable Asian food and produce. I usually go there when I want to get cheaper fruits and vegetables. I do stop by sometime for food also. I normally get a vietnamiese sub with the mung bean coconut drink for dessert ☺️ I highly reccomend checking this place out!
Purchased 2 gallons of milk a few days ago and the first gallon turned out to have already gone bad. I opened the second gallon today and had a taste and it had also gone bad. There was also bits floating in the milk. The expiry stated February 19th but they already started tasting weird. I went back to the store for a return since I had the receipt and was told by the cashier that they do not accept returns for dairy items. Being that this isn’t a return it’s more or so a money back for bad product the cashier agreed to call the owner. The owner said the same thing and told us that since it had been 3 days since I purchased the milk they wouldn’t refund me. I mean who buys 2 gallons of milk and opens them right away. Though the milk gallon is worth a small amount had they rightfully refunded me I would’ve been a very happy customer and would shop here again. However the poor customer service and clear poor handling and storage of food will stop me from shopping here again.
This place is one stop destination for everything. But lately had the bad experience when buying fruits. Not once but twice. Two days ago we got a watermelon and found it was bad. Ignored it. Went today to get another one attached is the photo and bill for today, with the photo of the first purchase as well. The new one today was bad too. Called them to complain about this and they said will let the produce section and the vendors know. I didn’t ask for a refund or return, I said will come by and take another fruit. The cashier mentioned I can’t promise anything because manager isn’t here. Be careful when you buy fruits from here. Not their fault entirely but accountability should be taken.

All varieties of Kerala ( south Indian) snacks
I am a regular customer at this place. I brought this bread packet day ago and opened it later on when i get home found the packet ripped off and bread was already eaten. When i called their cashier told me they cannot replace the bread because it could be my fault. Even i explained how bread was so hard and its and the packet was ripped already.
Its not about refund but at least u can show some curtesy to your customers while talking over the phone. U don’t have to be rude. Been doing grocery for more than 100$ from this place from last 2 years. Never complaint for anything but i had bad experience with the cashier this time

The employees are super helpful.
I especially come to this particular location (from US) to get good prices on ghee, paneer, oils & Indian snack food.
Only negative point is that a lot of items on shelves don't have a price tag BUT if you give it to an employee they happily check it for you - even 10times you ask them these youngsters don't frown.
The location of the store is also good.
Sadly since the store is small it's not completely wheel chair Accessible but the employees helpfulness make up for it- they will run around getting items for you on your grocery list.

This is the best place for me to buy fruit especially oranges and apples, which are cheap and delicious. For sure, it depends on the types you like. Please don’t expect that the fruit is fresh all the time in the store. To be honest, I bought bad apples from Costco a few times. Since then, I have never bought fruit from other places because I can’t find a better deal than Super Save. Just pick the acceptable fresh ones as I like, and I have never regretted buying it.
Produce is really fresh, and they have good prices! They don’t have many organic options though. I got all of this for $29.00

Be careful with frozen items. They have no return policy for frozen goods. No returns and no exchanges.
I bought a tub of yogurt from this place and it had some kind of growth / circles on the surface. Either bacterial growth or some other kind of fungal growth. But I am not sure, as I have never seen this on the surface of yogurt I have bought in the past. The yogurt was not expired per the date on the tub. So they refused to return or exchange. This is Dec 2023.
This is our favorite stop when we visit Canada. This place serves all the Indian grocery needs. We often buy groceries from here. It has a good variety of items and has pretty much everything that indian kitchen needs. Lot of stuff from india that you could not buy else where.

Lucky Supermarket is a great supermarket to shop at as it's very clean and organized. My personal favourite is the deli, where you can get an assortment of Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches for a very affordable price. Overall the store is diverse with a Halal meat section and a new Filipino restaurant inside the store, in addition to being a South Asian supermarket.
This store is a black spot on Indian owned stores. They are so shady that they are too scared to give their manager’s name. Also the owner hides in the back room and is scared to face the customers. Never shop from here. They don’t deserve your business. Most unethical and rude staff. They are unnecessarily intimidating and especially their floor staff have major anger issues. They do not know how to talk to customers who have been shopping there for more than 5 years now. Also they keep expired products and when we point that they take the expired product from you and keep it back on the shelf. Food authority should do a surprise inspection to catch their unethical practices.
Delicious sweets and confectionery shop on Scott road from Kolkata based halwai 😋 Their kaju katli, rajbhog, gulag jamun and rasagola taste will make you remember bengali sweets. It's a must visit sweet shop for bengali sweets.
Ample free parking is in front of shop.
Tip- try their Kala Jamun but call them ahead for the special sweet.
Dont want to give Star they sell the garbage item. And when we. reach them they neglected to return. I suggest you dont go there. I also ask associates to i want to meet the manager but they refused.
A good place to buy all kinds of groceries. The size of the store is medium to large but they have a wide range of Indian grocery brands available.
Sometimes the produce is not the best quality if you go later in the evening but otherwise it mostly good.
The staff and the owner are really friendly and helpful.
I went to this store on Wednesday, while shopping for other items I picked some big size pomegranates. Suddenly this produce employee came, literally forced me to drop the big size pomegranates and offered me these two small size one and promised that these will be way better than the other ones.
This is the quality they force people to buy and promote poor quality products.
Highly disappointed and unhappy.
Will never go back.
First and last time. Horrible experience.

Great place for fruits and vegetables, amazing collections of Indian books, and the Statues of Hindu religion God and Goddess. Friendly people and helpful Staffs
Perfect for your “ppoja” needs.
You name a thing and you get it. Be it mango, paan (betel) leaves or supari for pooja you will find everything. During the big south asian festivals there is a huge rush but this is something we crave for when we are away from our country. This reminds you of your good old days back in your country. A must visit place.
Good collection of fresh produce, Indian spices and pooja materials. They have an impressive collection of fake garlands and pooja essentials. They also had fresh marigold flowers.
Liked that the grains and pulses aren’t pre packaged and you can pack to Desired lbs. saw a huge collection of spices as well.
The only downside was it was a bit chaotic as lanes, checkout adds to the chaos as well. The freezer unit looked very outdated.the lanes are also labeled and is pretty confusing to find something.
Got this 1 hour ago . I don’t know what to say 😐. This thing is called as laho but they charged me for kado . I didn’t notice at store . You guys should improve customer service and quality of vegetables. Otherwise someone can complain to Fraser health for sure .
Big Bazaar is my go-to destination for all my household needs and delicious food finds! With its vast array of Indian household items and food products, I always find exactly what I'm looking for, whether it's spices, utensils, or snacks. The variety is simply unmatched, and I love exploring the aisles to discover new products and flavors. While the quality of the items is consistently excellent, I do feel that the prices could be made more reasonable as they still feel a bit high. However, the affordability factor aside, the staff is friendly and helpful, making my shopping trips even more enjoyable. Overall, Big Bazaar is a one-stop-shop for all things Indian, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality products and great deals!
Indo Fiji in Surrey is a decent Indian store, but it comes with its set of challenges. I've been here a few times, and here's my experience.

On the positive end, they offer a reasonable selection of Indian spices, grains, and snacks. I appreciate that they have some fresh produce and a variety of cooking ingredients that can be hard to find elsewhere. The staff has always been polite and willing to help when I had questions.

Anyways, the layout of the store leaves much to be desired. It can be quite congested and disorganized, making it a bit of a hassle to navigate, especially during peak hours. It's not always easy to find what you're looking for, and this congestion can be frustrating.

Also, one of the most significant drawbacks is the high prices at Indo Fiji. Their products are notably more expensive than at other Indian stores in Surrey.

At the end, Indo Fiji is a convenient place to pick up Indian groceries, but the high prices and congestion can be off-putting. It's worth a visit if you're in a pinch, but be prepared to navigate through a crowded and somewhat disorganized store while keeping an eye on your budget.

Lucky’s is clean, organized and has an amazing selection of Asian groceries.

We were around for lunchtime so we ordered Bahn Mi from the Deli counter. The bread is so nice and very crisp (without ripping the roof of your mouth). Generously filled with fresh veggies, plenty of meat, mayo and pate. It’s a solid sandwich for 5.69 (#2, Cold Cut). We also bought a roast duck from the hot counter for $33.99! A great stop if you’re in the area.

Great produce store run by a family who cares about their products and customers.

I buy all my produce only from this store because of the variety of produce, great price and great customer service.

The price is great but some of the veggies and fruits have to be used up right away.

I would strongly recommend Super Save Produce.
The best place to get all your Pooja samagri.. Never disappoints. They have the best collection of Ganpati/Ganesha idols.
Excellent Indian specialty super market. The owner is very nice very pleasant and very help full. Lot of South Indian stuff. The prices are very reasonable. Bringing items from India costs money some reviews mentioned about cost, the items you get here is original from India it is not the same. I have tasted items from here and in India it is not the same so please don't compare it. The items from India tastes amazing. I bought tutti frutti and it brought memories from Pune. The owner is so enjoying willing to accommodate your request. I am very excited to have found the store. Very clean and well maintained as against many Indian stores I visited. Thank you you got my support.
High prices. My daughter accidentally dropped jam and they did not asked if she was ok instead trying to find who to blame. They charged us for the broken jam even though I purchased another one. No other big grocery chain would make you do this. The prices are much higher then a normal store. Yes it was convenient to have a store close to home ; however, will not be shopping here anymore. No safety procedures for broken glass and charged for an accident.

Seasonal Gujarati veggies and fruits like fresh papdi lilva, fresh tuver, green tea and not to forget they have best kesar and Alphonso mangoes in season..! Fresh local gujarat’s snacks and so much more love this store.
Prices are higher than other places. Refused to refund or exchange or store credit me within 30 days of purchase for a defective copper water bottle with missing lid seal. Would not recommend.

Edit. Store has now installed displays that blocks accessibility for physically disabled people. Lost one star.

Dates I bought from sabzi mandi yesterday got fungus inside the box. I don’t know whose wrong here but just let everyone’s know. Make sure your check before you buy.
Stay healthy
It's a small store but filled with everything you need..Owners are super friendly and products are reasonable
Great place for East Indian grocery shopping!
They have fresh produce as well, if you love chicken they got lots of marinated chicken option for you.
High recommended!!
I wouldn’t say that it’s a bad grocery store. But prices are at least 50% higher here if not double. For example tea India sells for $6-$8 add fruitiCana, Subzi Mandi and superstore but here it is upwards of $12. Don’t have a flyer or weekly sales anymore, and not even a website. No more spend $100 get a gift, just largely overpriced and clean store. You can do better! If you guys improve pricing and start doing sales/flyers will update review to 5 stars.

Very bad experience from the store we trusted and bought our grocery from there almost every week

I bought a packet of Jagdish Sev and khakra and found out it was expired after eating the half packet of sev and this happened second time so I went to the store to return it and inform them that this is unsafe for my health and they can’t sell expired stuff. So as I was speaking to the store owner his wife Priyanka came and started saying we can eat the food till 6 months after the before date. And instead of apologising the owner also behaved in a very rude manner saying it’s the customers responsibility to check because it’s not they product, They just get it from suppliers so it’s not they responsibility. So they don’t want to accept that they selling us expired food items not a store to trust.
One stop shop for all your Indian pooja staples and more. Found some rare veggies and fruits here. Have been here a few times and this place never disappoints!

Visiting this store is always a wonderful experience. A good selection of products to meet the demands of people of Indian ancestry. The proprietor is pleasant to converse with. Outside, there is plenty of parking. Spices, Indian Namkeen, pre-made mixes, and dosa and idli batter are all available. It's a fantastic destination to acquire Kerala and South Indian products. Other popular items include boiled rice, grated coconut, kodam puli, grated coconut, curry leaves, moringa (drum sticks), Madras Bru coffee, puttu pooddy, appam poddy, sambhar powder, rasam powder, south Indian pickles, munchies, and more.

This is a small store run by a couple. They have good variety of south Indian snacks and spices and even gingelly oil which is very good and rarely found at other Indian stores. I come here frequently to buy filter coffee powder as well which has more chicory in coffee powder which again you don't get at other Indian stores. Would recommend this store.
It was my first time visiting any Sabzi Mandi location. This South Asian supermarket is nice and clean with well-stocked goods from India and other countries. Will definitely visit again.

My go to store for fruits and vegetables. Not fancy, just simple but half prices compared to No frills, walmart or any other grocery stores around. I see some had bad experience with parking, I never faced such though
The store is really good for its collection for Hindu puja related items. You name a thing and you will find it like diyas, deities idols, tulsi, temple stuff for home etc. besides this they carry other grocery items. The pricing is reasonable.
The people working there are helpful.
Downside is the layout is stuffed with too many things and aisles are narrow. So if it is crowded then it will be tough to follow the covid norms & social distancing.

Clean and covid friendly. Less crowded, so you feel lot safer compared big grocery stores.
This store is a family run speciality retail business selling groceries and produce from mainly Fijian and Indian subcontinent. Friendly and good customer service, parking facility in front of this store is good for few cars, I think washroom facility may be upon request. Tight corners for wheelchair access.

Just a usual Desi/Kerala store, the only great thing about this store is that there is lot of Kerala grocery stuff also utensils like puttu steamer, idli steamer, achappam and idiyappam maker.

We actually went for some Kerala vegetables but didn't find any and the lady in the store mentioned that there isn't any and we ended up getting some frozen veggies. So if you looking for any fresh vegetables go only on Thursdays.

Disappointing experience. I called earlier to inquire if the store carried a specific product and requested the price. Arrived at the store, headed towards the freezer which is at the back; along the way saw a few items that I was interested in purchasing. Found the specific item that I came for however was not too thrilled with the labeling of the product. There was the price but no weight (per lb) so I requested to know the weight. The product was weighted with much annoyance in my opinion. Discrepancy - over the phone quoted $5.99 per lb. In store quoted $6.49 per lb. Product priced $22.00 with no weight after I asked to get weighted it was 3.25lb so do the math!!!... it really comes close to $7.00 per lb. I walked out of the store feeling????????
