All sorts of Indian items are available here at a reasonable price.
Very bad experience I bought for $160 yesterday the country chickens and the roster.very bad smile it's not worth it what I paid for. I can't eat. Be fair what do you sale. When you die what do you gonna bring. Lot of millions, I don't think so. Be fair. Do you know how hard to earn $160 these days. Be fair and don't cheat the people. It's not gonna stay for ever.

The store has many Sri Lankan products, and it seems like they are running out of space.

I bought "mOr milagai" (South Indian salted dried chili) that their store brand (Eraa), but it was horrible! Not only was there no salt in it, but the taste was bad too -- way too spicy to an extent that my tongue was damaged. I'd never buy this store brand ever again.

Other products are fairly good. I see that they are packaging vegetables now, which I didn't like because of packaging material waste. This is not environmentally conscious. And I cannot buy smaller quantities than the package size.

Their parking lot needs to be repaired -- paving is so bad that it reminds me of cash strapped Toronto government. Isn't Eraa making enough money to pave their parking lot?

mold growing on unopened spice. Supposed to expire in December 2025. It was left in the same area as all the rest of the spices in the house, yet only the one from Eraa is growing mold. Will stay away from making purchases from the Eraa name brand items.
Too much expensive, as an international student i visited each and evry supermarket for the quality amd best prices. After all I noticed this place is expensive than regulr food basics and freshco.

ERAA Supermarket is a South Asian supermarket based in Scarborough, it caters towards the Srilankan community. Lot of items are available here ranging from fruits and vegetables, fish, masalas, snacks, pickles, etc etc. The parking lot is huge too. On the negatives, the staff here I find are not so cordial and happen to make fun of me if I happen to wear mask, I did not appreciate that. The prices of certain items are way higher than the worth of it, and sometimes can be found cheap in another store. Overall, a good place to shop, and for sure gives me nostalgic vibes of South Indian stores.

Lot of things, fresh vegetables and indian major (srilankan & Tamil foods) fish and meat can be bought. Just be sure about the expiry date regarding imported goods except that the staff is very friendly and you can find a lot of variety in the grocery.
Has plenty of South Indian groceries which are native to India. Visited here twice to get my monthly groceries. 5/5 highly recommended.
Ordered Sev Puri and Grilled cheese sandwich. The girl named Kajal did a great job, the bread is crunchy making the sandwich so perfect and delicious. It’s worth the price, def going to eat here again.

I normally dont do reviews, but the customer experience @Eraa is really pathetic. The cashier girl was very rude, indecent, and people working there didn't care about their customers, nor do they help them with their inquiries. Yall need to learn some real customer service. Treat your customers with respect, or else they won't be coming back!
I have been shopping at Al Premium for years and it has always been my go-to grocery store. The selection of fresh produce is always top-notch and the quality of the meat and dairy products is unmatched. The store is always clean and well-organized, making it a pleasure to shop there.

However, I have noticed that the prices of food at Al Premium have been steadily increasing over the past few months. While I understand that prices of goods can fluctuate, the constant price hikes are starting to become a concern. Despite this, I will continue to shop at Al Premium because of the overall high quality of their products and excellent customer service. However, I do hope that they will consider keeping their prices more stable in the future.

"Onam Sadhya" best quality of food with a good portion for two. So many varieties.
Must try.
I think this store is closed now. I came here in the middle of the day and found it locked

Better call before going to this store, incase they are permanently closed now.
Nice store with plenty of items, friendly staff and moderate prices.
Great store, has my favourite Indian snacks. Excellent service and kind staff!

ROTTEN BAZAAR ... THEIR MEAT IS FULL OF ANTIBIOTICS. OLD & NASTY. CHECK THEIR BREAD, I BET YOU WILL FIND MOLD.... MOSTLY ALL STUFF IS EXPIRED... THEY JUST CARE ABOUT PROFITS . DUTTY PLACE... FILTHY. IF YOU WANT TO GET SICK, DIARRIAH , HAVE STOMACH WORMS ,GET FULL ANTIBIOTIC OLD SICK CHICKEN & MEAT , THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU ! ENJOY !
I'm consistently impressed with their wide variety of products. The aisles are well-organized, making it easy to find what I need. The fresh produce section is always stocked with high-quality fruits and vegetables, and their meat and seafood selection is excellent as well.
17th august 2023 2:00 pm when we went to take our tiffin … the lady in the front forgot to add to dal and rice and this happened twice …she was arguing a lot and not even apologised for this ….
Went their because i saw on instagram post”all you can eat pani puri for 16”
Ordered a plate. It was full of green sauce. It was bitter instead of sweet, salty and spicy.
No chickpeas or potatoes, they give black chana.
About market, yes you can find desi stuff, but it comes with a much higher price.
I tried golgappa plate here . One woman Varsha, made that golgappa plate very well and very tasty. It was really good experience here having taste like India.

Definitely visit this store for all your South Indian grocery items, i.e.,rice, banana leaves, snacks, frozen seafood, etc. Service is friendly and store is well stocked.
Nice clean place to buy your groceries especially if you are a non-meat consuming person. The chats ( snacks) and puffs are a nice addition. Could be slightly expensive but worth it. I look forward for the Markham branch to be opened soon

I recently went to this place for buying chicken and they said there is rooster which is only for $10 and I fell for the trick. And that was good for 3 time cooking . I was really happy . When I cooked the rooster it had really bad smell it was tasting like some kind of chemical. Don’t ever purchase the rooster or any meat from there . Looks like they are using preservatives for expanding the meat’s lifespan. I thought out all of it🤮🤮🤮Huge disappointment . Never going there again to buy meat
Came here for the first time today, it was fantastic!
I find the Asian store near me does not have bananas, this place did. Store was super clean and, everything you need was there. I especially loved the food court area. It reminds me of the T&T that was once on Cherrys street, but better pricing and a nicer seating area.
There were only a couple of cashiers on duty, so check out took a bit of time and, if you want food court items you needed to use the main cash… the food was cold by the time I got to eat it. I’ll be back though!
This location of Panchvati Supermarket sells adulterated quality of Milk and Amul Cheese items.
Milk bought from this location was curdled up within 2 days.
In the Amul cheese individual cube packet, 2 of the cheese cubes were replaced with some inferior cheese (fake cheese) and repackaged. In the photo, the fake cheese looks yellow and rubbery rather than white and soft real Amul cheese. This is alarming since the store tampers with food quality by repackaging fake items in original Amul wrappers. Risking health of consumers, merely to gain more profit and not meeting expected food quality standards.
Be careful before buying any dairy products from this store.
People are rude and will ask for canadian ID proof for buying rice if you go with your friends. This place is worst for customer experience. If you are doing thé business business with them one day we will loose our RESPECT because of the rude staff. Think twice before doing business.
The staff was very rude and everything was not managed properly. They denied rice bag to my friend. The staff should be changed for better customer service. I would star them zero in terms of services.
If you happen to visit this place MAKE SURE TO HAVE PANIPURI. Itsss sssooooo goooodddd specially ask him to make his special one! Super friendly and really loved the vibe.

Excellent store for Indian groceries. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have almost all the items available with different varieties and very reasonable price.
This is my go to Indian store in particular for packaged Indian groceries. Their vegetables are a hit or miss. Some days they are fresh and other days not so great.
I love the chat papdi it was very awesome
And mango lassi was also great.
Really if you like indian food very much must visit here.
I like their food this much that thrice a week i used to visit here and it gives me a feeling that i am in india.

I went to this store second time, the first experience was not bad but second one was horrible. To be honest,I went there to buy meat with my friend and the meat section was about to close but it was not the time to close and I asked for the meat politely but the staffs were so rude. I didn’t want to argue because I know that everyone has pressure and frustration during the job. One guy gave me meat and thanking him I went to checkout and during checkout I just asked her as it was srilankan store and she was from srilanka but she said why do you need?in rude voice. I don’t know if I got this behaviour because I am a Asian and a normal people or these staffs doesn’t have proper knowledge about customer service. I felt so bad that these people are decreasing reputation of this store and this is my last time going here. One thing I want to suggest them is learn some customer service and little manner. Respect everyone!!
Don't get anything from your hometown when travelling to Canada. Had I known before that there is a supermarket which has got all the items from India I wouldn't have filled my bags with the same.
Reasonably priced.
U get from
Grains / flours to utensils
From fresh fruit to frozen items
Also, u get all of the Puja samagri at one place.
I also saw that they keep festival related items on the shelf.
Located near a bus station so easy ttc transport.

Traditional desi grocery store - it will meet expectations. Prices are OK- but offers make a difference. Staff are friendly and average upkeep, no complaints. Many parking spots there are narrow - where your car will just fit.
✅ Very nice and convenient store. I loved to buy snack from there. As I found this is the most ⭐️ Authentic South India. Grocery Store.
I was here with my friends. We ordered ice gola. The gola flavour container were open mixing flavour of dust.
There were many people and there is only one girl working outside to serve all these people. She was kept calling for help from inside but 2 boys who were working casually walked out and started joking instead of helping her.

The girl was apologizing every 2 minutes to everyone. I can feel for her

ROTTEN MARKET- Never buy any produce from this shop! The staffs are rude and ill mannered.I bought one box of mangoes (Alphonso) supposed to export quality. I found worms inside and it was completely rotten. I was about to feed my baby and I saw this. When I called the shop the staff(zumaira, if she gave the correct name )said she doesn’t care if she sells rotten produce to the customers as no resolution can’t be provided from their side. Should be reported to the CFIA #CFIA please go to next shop their service and staffs are better.
Far better than other “Big name” Indian grocery chains. The owner is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Hope they stay the same.

Very big supermarket that has all the ingredients you need. I got their end of the day sushi tray for $16.99 from $19.99 and it was ok. Probably wouldn't get it again, but I'd be interested in trying their hot table foods.

Would recommend and come back for groceries.
I would never order Pani Puri from here. Their way of serving is very bad plus the girls who make the hol gappas dont even ask for the preference. The store says they had gol gappa in 7 different flavours which tempted me and my frnd to go for 2 sets. The buggest biggest that they are doing while serving gol gappa is preparing them before hand and placing it in the plate. Gol gappas are supposed to be served right awayto avoid the puris from getting soggy. Unfortunately, the first plate was filled with the green sauce which tasted horrible and when I asked the girl why all the gappas tasted the same she said “ she thought we wanted green chutney only (without even confirming) and didnot offer to replace the plate. And the second plate that had 7 different flavours tasted worse. They also messed up the order of some ither couple who were served before us!!!
I would really request the store person tolook into their serving portions along with serving it to the customers right away one by one!!!
"Delightful ice gola experience! Fluffy shaved ice, variety of flavors, and friendly service. A must-try treat to beat the heat!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Love the mava malai gola….❤️
I recently visited this grocery story. We got the ice gola. It was very delicious. Prajvi did an excellent job in preparing, decorating and serving gola with various toppings. Vaishali was also very welcoming and offerred some additional toppings. You both are doing an amzaing job, keep the good work! It reminded me about childhood days. Thanks for that.
Good place to buy Kerala stuffs. People are similar like kerala nice ..smiley and Cool buddies.

Prices might be slightly more as imported products may have duty charges.
Great place for buy Indian grocery. Reasonable rate compared to other grocery store. Bhaveshbhai and Vinodbhai very kind and super friendly. Always give you hand to find an item.

Great place to get indian items.
Staff is very responsive and respectful.
Would recommend my know ones for sure.
The Samosa Chaat reached new heights of deliciousness, making it the best we've had so far.

The Dahi Puri was also good, worth a try

Unfortunately, the Spring Rolls failed to meet our expectations. Their lack of freshness was evident, and the taste fell flat, leaving us disappointed.

Moving on to the Bhel, it was decent, but it didn't quite stand out from the crowd.

The Sugarcane Juice, however, left us longing for more. It felt more like water than the refreshing juice we anticipated, leaving us a bit disappointed.
They have a peculiar taste of ongoing festivals and there categories are always updated. One of the best corner shops and hidden gems for Indian groceries and festivities affiliated things.

Very much disappointed with their meat section service. I saw the reviews of giving less meat of what u guys are paying and what a coincidence it happened to me today. When i came home and checked they gave me 1 pound less meat of what i paid for it its $4.99 literally.

I want the attention of the owner please check on ur staff specially the beard guy on the meat section. This is really unacceptable, if u r running a halal business plz don’t steal our money by doing haram thing.

This time I went to get Alphonoso mangoes as I saw it in instagram video, for bad luck there were no much variety of the mangoes as it was shown in video.

*EXPIRED ITEM*

I purchased balklava 400g pack for 14.99$ today from the store during closing time at around 9:00 PM.

Me and one of my friends, after tasting felt like something is really wrong with the taste and stuff.
After looking through the dates, it shown the packaging date as November 2022 and i don’t how the store staff thinks it would live up to a shelf life of 6-7 months as well as interestingly says on top - Fresh Baklava.

Ridiculous experience. Worth 0 Star.
Great place for indian grocery. Bhaveshbhai(Owner)is real gem to deal with. I would suggest everyone to visit this place as their prices are best in town as well as they never let you down in their products and customer service.

I go to fish cutting area to buy fish i saw sign top of the fish its says $5.99 per Lb. Also i attach photo here...when i go to cassier they charge $30 .for 3lb ...i ask why ..cassier said this kind of fish expencive.....its does make any sence...also i dont know fish name...
Gujarati, you must go there because it has every grocery item you need.
A little overpriced.
Quality is fairly good.
"Freshly cooked" is a misleading phrase.
We bought spring rolls and samosa but they smelled bad. Khaman was tolerable but not fresh.
I was impressed by the range of flour they sell. Farali (fasting) atta to juwar atta.... you are spoilt for choice.
Freshly made roti looked good. For students or new comers who don't have roti making facility yet, and crave for it, you should buy this.
This store on Markham road is a bit bigger than the nearby one on Ellesmere.
Many items missing the price tags.
Will I go again? May be occasionally because I cannot get ready to eat khaman anywhere else.
I visited this store to get some groceries and this was my first visit to this store. I am really happy because I found Moong Papad from my favorite brand Ganesh Papad. Also found fresh veggies.

I would definitely recommend visiting this store for the Indian Grocery Needs.

For Indian grocery shopping you can definitely visit you will get everything
I haven't visited this place in person, just used the delivery option. They change the quantity of items without informing you and overcharge for items. Several items are out of stock normally and I think to bring the total to 50$ they double the items. This is ofcourse not honest and I ended up paying same money for 4 less items delivered. I also got a curry leaves packet that was filled with mold..After using it twice now I'll not go back and ask everyone to be careful when they place an online order.

They always have fresh meat. They carry Crescent brand meat products which other supermarkets may not carry. I especially love how they are one of the only places where I can find Crescent brand Halal Jamaican spicy beef patties along with East meets West products, and Meat head.

-Alot of good hair products aswell, I preferably use the Hemani brand hair oils.
Very Good Indian Store. We can get almost everything that we need in an Indian kitchen. Vegetables are fresh. Has a homely feeling. Staffs are super helpful.
It is a regular Indian, South Asian grocery store. You can get kitchen provisions plus other eatables such as snacks mainly from India, and you can also get non grocery, other household items.

The prices are comparable to similar Indian grocery stores. For example think of Om India grocery.

They also provide lot of worship items for Hindus ( Pooja items including mundap). I saw large artificial flower garlands hanging from the ceiling. This could be used to decorate your deities.

The staff are friendly. They do not accept Amex cards, and they accept other credit cards for purchases over $10 to reduce overhead. The aisles are fully stacked with dry food in packets and they are being constantly replenished. They also have nuts such as cashews almonds and raisins in big containers similar to bug barn. They do have vegetables and Frozen items decent enough for a regular family.

The shop is neither too big nor too small. it is very conveniently located on a strip mall on Markham Road, South of Ellesmere. Parking is free. They also have a takeout vegetarian restaurant. The food quality there is good. See my reviews separately.

Sales associate could be more nicer and responsible for assisting consumers other than that the store itself its pretty good. They even got a small food court that has different types of goodies!

It is a good sign that they don't overstock, so that we do not have to worry about expiry dt.

We go there frequently even before this owner bought this store.
Last Saturday we went there after 8 pm and I was very happy that all staff were happily working, responding nicely and all were looking in cheerful mood even it was end of the day that makes me very happy as I believe in good customer service. Moreover, it's Diwali time so I liked that kind of happy environment.
Keep it up. Good luck.

Not the best Panchavati like other branches of theirs. Although it’s located on the main road that is a welcoming factor for shoppers, the store is quite small and congested. It takes a lot of time to get the billing done during hours in the day. If you are in a hurry or want to shop with enough space, this may not be for you. But, they have many Indian grocery items and powdered shrubs that you can’t find at other stores.
Great place for grocery with a wide variety of products. Would definitely recommend it to others.

It was very disappointing to see this from Eraa market, I went to buy a product Pankaja Kasthuri breath easy and I was shocked to see there was no MFG date and EXPIRY date to the product and when I look keener I saw everything was purposely erased and you can see a water mark stating MFG as 04/2020 and EXPIRY as 04/2022 which by means already expired 4 months ago.

These are the products used by lung disorder patients , asthmatic and seeing such strategy from such a big store is very disappointing.

When I asked them, they were least bothered about it.

I would request the shop to move such items out of the store and respect wellbeing.

Thank you.
I had the worst experience today. I bought packaged chicken, which i get every week, and ask the employee at the meat counter to cut, but he was rude and declined my request. I asked the customer service also they didn't help either. I always cut my chicken with the employee wearing glass who is decent and helpful.
It is a great place to buy every day groceries. Also, they are available for delivery at my door step. Many Indian groceries are exclusively available here with cheapest price. Ambience of the store is awesome. Staff was super helpful. I have recommended my friends to buy most groceries from Surati Brothers Indian Grocery.
Very well organized stock. The shelves are well stocked and the store is clean and tidy. They carry a wide range of groceries covering the east and the west. The have a large variety of fruits and vegetables which are fresh and of good quality. The display of the produce is so appealing. They also carry many household items such as pots and pans and cutlery and crockery. The associate at the checkout was so warm and helpful. I wish we had one such store in Oshawa.

Bengali Fish haven. Great for daily grocery. If you are Bengali or Indian you will definitely love this store. I usually visit 1/2 times per month.
I visited this place recently, they have good collections of the items and the prices are what you get on the other places as well, but the positive thing about this place is it's new and seems to be quite well maintained and very clean. Also they have a snack section where they have curries as well and I did try one of their Gujarati curries(Undhiyu) which was really good and the taste was very authentic. I would definitely go to this place again and try other curries and snacks.
Recently visited Surati Brothers for Indian groceries, you'll find everything from Bhakhari to Gopal!
Good prices, fresh stock and amazing customer service. Thank you!
Newly store opened by Gujarati brothers. Nice, clean and well organized. All fresh Indian vegetables available at low and reasonably priced then other super markets in Scarborough. Can get all sort of Indian Spices, tea, Rice, Flour under one roof. Easy access from highway 401 as located on Warden & Ellesmere. Do visit and definitely recommended.
All grocery to kitchen ware to vegetables under one roof!! Fresh vegetables and new inventory every week!!

They sell expired and rotten stuffs. Bought kababs and found out full of fungus. I don’t understand how are they allowed to sell these types of expired and bad food. I called the store to let them know about it. The owner didn’t even care about the issue. Will never ever shop again. Avoid at any cost.
Okay, I recently reviewed another Panchvati location that's about 10 minutes from this one and this is such a breeze of fresh air compared to that one.

Wide isles, fresh produce, good selection of Indian snacks and other groceries that any family from the subcontinent can enjoy.

The store is well lit and the staff is way more polite than the other location. Did get items that I have been looking for. This is going to become my go-to place for India groceries for the next few years till I call Scarborough my home.

Special points for keeping the Orange Lays flavor
This specious, clean, well stuffed ethnic grocery store is a jewel in Scarborough. They have a vast selection of grocery items for local as well as a variety of ethnic communities. Their fresh vegetables and fruits section, fish section, meat section, bakery, and dairy section are all well stuffed and have lots of varieties to choose from. They have hot food counter and catering services. Price is reasonable. A must go for people who look for varieties of grocery products from all over the world.
Good parking space available. It is not easy to find this place as it is a little inside from the main road. grocery section is decent. However most of their items is their own brand. Meat is good. They also have a takeout section which is good.
This is best and cheap gujarati groceries shop in Scarborough for International students. Comparing with Panchvati it is lot more cheaper. At Panchvati if your total bill is $50 then definitely at Mirch Masala it will be near to $35. All vegetables are fresh. Definitely will recommend Mirch Masala to buy groceries. 👍
Good place for Indian grocery items especially Kerala items. There is a large selection of masalas, rice, vegetables fruits etc. Different types of Kerala rice is available.

The owners are very nice, friendly and helpful. There is good parking available.
