This guy in the picture is with Zero patience level. He didn't even gave us anytime to select the lamb. I request the management to consider this issue as a priority of a customer. Ask this guy to be friendly with the customers and allow them some time to select the food products
Ich bin stammgast seit 20 Jahren, und Erol Abi und sein Team sind echte liebenswerte Zürcher die sich um nett und höflich kümmern, mit einer guten Kulunarik für jeder Person, der mal was warmes Türkisches kosten will.
sieht sehr sauber und sortiert aus, war aber nur für Takeaway dort. Kenne viele Takeaway im Kreis 5, die sind so mittel... Dieser hier im Kreis 4 besticht durch guten Geschmack sowie erkennbar frische Zutaten. Sogar das Brot schmeckt gut. Kann ich sehr empfehlen. Preislich unauffällig, Portion wie üblich, deutliches Übergewicht beim Reis.
One of the best Indian food stores in Zürich, very accessible via train from Oerlikon, or via tram as well. The spread of everything from snacks to fresh vegetables is very extensive and the prices are decent for Swiss standards. Must need for any Indians living in and around Zürich for affordable Indian goods.
Never ever go to this store , they sell expired items , today we bought ashirvaad aata and they had expired aata in their store and using some sticker with new expiry date and paste it on Ashirvaad aata , i removed the sticker to check and it was expired. I will never visit this store again. I asked multiple times as i am facing stomach problem. I will complain this further also.
We often go to the art of food for vegetables and groceries. They stand quite rightly for the name of their store. We always find typical Indian vegetables in good shape there. Almost every single thing an Indian needs while staying abroad can be found here. The owner and the staff are very well-behaved and considerate.

I always have a very pleasant experience here but today(28th October 2023) was not so good. The man ( tall Sikh man ) at the counter was bit rude and he seemed very irritated. He was trying teach us how to put stuffs in the bag in a very rude manner and that too without we asking his help I believe that not every day is a good day but you need to behave politely with customers. And it came as a shock because we never had such experience here . May be he was having bad day or he was drunk, not sure

Good to see Indian grocery store in Zurich. Luckily our hotel was very near to this place. They have all Indian stuff including lime and thumbs up and haldiraam
We like the shop very much on many ways :). It's spacious and at the same time with lots of different items to buy giving a feel that we miss hardly any from India (we come from Tamilnadu). Vegetables are fresh and we could find all we need. The choice of name 'Art of Food' very much resembles the store. Snacks are another level with variety. And the one which we don't get anywhere else is also here on weekly basis, our favourite goat meat :). Most importantly, Staff are welcoming and we are glad overall.

Früher waren die Kebabs wirklich gut, aber jetzt gibt es kalte Kebabs und das eingelagerte Fleisch wird wieder aufgewärmt.
Wenn sie frisches Fleisch in Kebabs herstellen und Lieferungen über Uber Eats und solche Apps anbieten, wird es für sie profitabler.
Insgesamt kann ich diesen Ort auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Donner was not great, but thats my fault, they had fresh home food which looked great.
Was not so busy for a sunday afternoon super market.

Excellent, helpful service. Delicious food. I got the doner box and it was so much food that I couldn't finish it in one meal. A little bit salty, but I got it without any sauces, so that might make a difference.
Next time I visit I will ask for more salad and less meat, but highly recommended!

The lunch-menus are tasty but I got a rather small portion. If I take "vegetarian" option and there are just two pieces of tofu in my plate... I would love it to be a bit more generous but I also did not say nothing so next time I will... Sorry!

Nice & clean with a Turkish bakery inside and much bigger than it looks like from the outside. Everything from Aram Yoghurts & fresh cheese to frozen fish and poultry.

Absolutely perfect Indian grocery store in Switzerland. They have a lot of Indian vegetables, masala and pulses. But most of it is aligned to North India and lesser to South India.
Nonetheless, the most important thing is that everything is fresh (atleast for once we don't need to constantly check expiry dates) and staff are very friendly.
They have a small food counter as well which has very good Indian food at very reasonable prices. Prices are atleast 25% lesser than Indian restaurants in Switzerland even some having food that is very bad.
Have added some pictures of unique items we found at the store like mixer grinder, cooker, idly maker, etc.
Finally, getting to the store is quite easy even if you are coming from any other city. Get down at Zurich HB and take a quick tram and a 5 mins walk.

Wenn die letzte Migros Filiale am Flughafen um 23 Uhr dicht gemacht wird und ich 'ums verregge" noch noch dies und das brauche, so eile ich in die Migrolino Filiale in der Alten Halle und hol' mir die Dinge. Jammerschade, daß es hier nicht mehr Geschäfte gibt, welche nicht die ganze Nacht hindurch, zumindest aber bis Mitternacht, geöffnet haben. Die kleine Weltstadt Zürich wäre dann noch ein Klein Bisschen attraktiver

They claim halal-ness but one can easily see their products are soaked in blood. Moreover, after a lot of preparation once cooked you can still feel the taste of blood! Very suspicious…

Hey in Switzerland, rating the supermarkets is something unnecessary. They are mostly all top. Competent. Rich. Polite. I'm just doing this so noone else has to.

But the reason why I am giving a 3 star is because a staff is always not friendly. She is this old lady with black hair who usually works the cashier, very unfriendly and rude. It makes the shopping experience unpleasant.

Super unfriendly. It's apparantly o the customer to buy enough product to ensure thos store's balance to be positive. You ger scolded for not buying enough. Wth
We tried their Durum. It's a halal place in Zurich. The food was amazing here with amazing service. It's a pocket friendly place in Zurich considering how expensive it could be to dine in Zurich.

This Indian grocery store is very convenient so visit very often, but some of those Indian Man which mostly work at the cashier are very racist and have disrespectful comments. Which shouldn't be allow into a public shop.
Sehr viel auswahl von verschiedenen länderen (türkisch, kosovo, thailändisch) find ich super und jede woche frischer Fisch. Super Fleischqualität. Wir haben es zufällig entdeckt und sind super zufrieden ab jetzt nur noch dort.
Ich bin schon öfters zu ALIMA um unter anderem Früchte und Gemüse zu kaufen. Qualität war immer gut. Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gerne immer wieder.

Quality butchers. Great selection of beef and lamb which you cannot get in normal Coop or Migros stores. Much better quality and quite a lot cheaper. Bakery is amazing. Loved the breads and... my goodness, LOVE the baklava which is easily the best I have had in Zurich. Will keep coming...!
Such a great grocery store. Love their fresh bakery. It’s so expensive to dine in restaurant in Switzerland, pick up healthy items and made yourself healthy and inexpensive meal! I spent total of $25 for these food. Amazing!

Everything you look for in a SPAR. Great service: the only SPAR I know, where employees help you put your buy into the car!! Crazy excellent!!
I've bought here only three times, three things; wine leaves, yufka, fish. Wine leaves were like paper, hard so I gave them feedback so maybe they don't buy that brand anymore. They reacted defensive and blamed me. Yufka had mold, they gave money back. Fish was inedible, went to trash bin. Was I just unlucky? Friends say they have good fruits and veggies though. My experience was never ever good sadly.
This actually isn't a shop. The shop has moved right next door, but continues to use this space as its warehouse. Which is a very big shame, something else should be opened here instead. Its a waste of space for the community. The Maxim shop next door is great otherwise.
Tiny shop around the corner, but they provide the most important necessities. Now open till 8pm. I am happy to have them.

I found a delicious Taheena (Sesame Sauce), grape leaves (Yaprak), Baqlava and Baqlava dough, variety of meat, Ghee, also Turkish coffee pots in different sizes, many kinds of Turkish delights and Turkish coffee.
In addition, they Have Shisha/Hookah, and shisha tobacco AlFakhir in all flavours and other shisha tobacco brands. Also Shisha accessories like shisha pipes, tobacco bowls, and others.

The best Coop Pronto Shop - a lot of fresh and warm meals, nice and friendly staff!
It’s my second time there and everytime I am super satisfied. This time I tried their lamb with beans in a tomato and paprika sauce. The taste was great, a bit spicy and good taste of paprika. I asked a small portion and it was enough for lunch. Ideally, I would like to have less beans and more meat.
Chinese, Thailand and Korean product: if you need to buy the asian food product, I recommend here.

Eigentlich ein sehr gutes Geschäft, wo ich gern Früchte+Gemüse einkaufe. Aber heute waren statt 500g Erdbeeren nur 294g im Körbchen, und das für Fr. 5.95. Zudem waren fast alle beschädigt, so dass ich sie sofort mit dem Mixer verarbeiten musste. Sehr ärgerlich.

Oh i love this late evening afterwork snack shopping coop! They are serving super quick, they have Selfservice even for cash. Great for small snacks, beverages or fresh salads and nut selections!

This establishment is owned by a Thai family. Here you can find products from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and India though majority of it is from Thailand and China. You can find fresh indian vegetables and tropical fruits (even durian). I wasn't expecting to also find Southeast Asian pastries (pandan rice cake) here. Due to a construction nearby that blocks the road, it is difficult to get to the shop therefore every customers get 10% discount off their bills. All in all, this is one of my favorite Asian market as it is spacious with lots to choose from at a reasonable price.
Good food. Its always fresh. But it might be crowded sometimes. Just wait patiently to pay and go.
We have a bakery near our real estate office in Austin, .Tx , but nothing like this! We made it a point to allow extra time in the HB station for a visit to the excellent pastry selection at this location. Marvelous!
Dirok market is infront of my hotel which is X-tra. They keep all the necessary item which required. But, the price are quite higher then store.
Good opening hours from 6 to 23, which is great. This is a city Pronto without a gas station. Rather large variety for a small store and produce is usually fresh. Can get a bit crowded at times and then you have to queue up to pay for your items.
