A lot of silly petty low star reviews here which shed little light on how special Lifethyme is! Not only one of the only remaining independently owned and operated health food stores in lower manhattan, their baked goods deparment is absolutely divine! From clean raw vegan cakes to sprouted buckwheat granola (no added sugar) I ride my bike here all the way from Williamsburg to support this business and acquire items not easily found elsewhere. Don’t be misled this is a solid 4.5 star establishment!

Always check your receipt! This place is well known for charging more at the register than what it says on the shelf! Especially sale items... which they'll say "oh, I don't know what happened, it must not've gotten changed in the system" like it's never happened before. But after years of shopping here I've learned to check my receipts and every single time I shop there (not much anymore bc this place is so unpleasant on so many levels) I've been over charged. And they never apologize. They mess up the price and then they get angry at the customer for wanting the price it says on the shelf. The employees here are mostly miserable, especially the droopy looking brunette woman who is so nasty, she must really hate her life. Shop here if you want to get overcharged, yelled at by the employees and leave feeling like humanity is awful.
Love their wide selection of non-dairy foods. They have delicious vegan slices of cake and their coconut yogurt is delicious too.
An absolute OG NYC gem that has a great selection for any type of dietary preference and a team of true characters! My personal favorites are their incredible house-made soups as well as vegan gluten-free cakes and desserts. So good!

The interior atmosphere is very spacious and beautiful. I loved the healthy, delicious bowls. If you go, I definitely recommend you to try the salmon with scrambled eggs. I would like to thank Batuhan for his polite and caring attitude.

Healthy fast food only a few minutes from Amtrak and New Jersey Transit in Penn Station. I watched the cook who prepared my quinoa bowl with salmon. He was meticulous and the way he works shows that he cares about the food he prepares. It was delicious.

Ordered 16oz greenopical smoothie, and asked to change coconut milk to almond milk and exclude vanilla extract. I guess they charge service fee for changing the ingredients. For $12.28, it was okay smoothie - nothing special, bit overpriced.

Got the large energy power espresso shake with an extra shot. Was absolutely delicious but oof cost almost $20 with tax and credit card fee.
I found Green Blend looking for healthy meals to have before taking my long distance transportation in Penn station. I was surprised at the variety of the menu (açai bowls, quinoa bowls, warm grain bowls, wraps, omelettes and more! ) and found nutritious vegetarian options for around $15, with complimentary tap water. Since I entered the shop I loved the vibe of the music (a mix of bachata, Latinamerican hits, and 2000s pop songs) great to start the day energetically! The wall decorations were very soothing to look at when breakfasting. Also, Payment offers sending you the receipt by email, the toilet is inclusive.
Thanks a lot for the meal!
I bought supplements for $ 212 in this store, one of them was opened, the protective shell was torn off, I called the support service and asked them to send me either a refund or an exchange, he told that I should come and bring this product. I explained that I can’t bring it to the store because the store is 1 hour away from me and it’s just 7,5$ supplement, it will cost me more to get there, the man just hung up. very bad customer service, sorry but never again.

We were the first one arrive at 8. We were pretty much the only costumers and it took them 30 minutes to get our food. They did said at the beginning that it will take 10, but not 10. “The fruits for the acai are frozen” - so? Food was ok, omelet was fine but acai was too cold.

This place was ok overall. The interior design is well executed, modern and lively. And service was good. But the food wasn’t amazing, just ok. If you’re going to stop here I recommend sticking to the quinoa bowls, they’re pretty good. But I got a grill chicken burger and sweet potato fries that left much to be desired. The “burger” was just a piece of plane chicken and the fries were limp and not crispy at all. But overall the whole experience was ok, so I don’t want to be too hard on them.

I love this store. Old school co-ops vibes. Great variety of products and wellness supplies. Prepared food is hit or miss depending on your tastes, I really like some of it. Shopped and ate here for years when living near by. Certainly my favorite health food store in NYC.

I used to shop there sometimes until I was utterly disappointed recently. Ground venison has been expired a week before. Packed chicken was leaking and didn’t look good either. But the worst part was when I saw a mold on a rye bread🤢 Unacceptable! Especially for the highly rated store.
It’s one of my favorite stores when I want to explore new health and nutrition products that aren’t over commercialized. This store also has amazing health cosmetic products upstairs with seating area. The downstairs is all about food. They have a bakery and a savory buffet. Most things are plant based and they have some clean animal proteins for your non-plant based friends.

The counter of sweet scares me because I want to buy it all. It’s a nice sight to see so many options. They even have gluten free options.

The shopping space for food is small but upstairs has a lot of room. Be friendly because these people are friendly. It’s a boutique grocery store that attracts all types of people.

Where else can you find snacks made of low glycemic products?

This is a great store for truly health conscious and health curious people. Catering to mainly vegans with options for their friends!
