Friendly staff, great food, a little away from the centre, but close to the station and a nice walk anyway.

Really good food and the raw cake made of beetroot and cashew is a must🍰
A nice place with a very cosy ambiance. The waiters are also friendly.
Cakes are delicious.
We loved it. Vegitalian has a very nice atmosphere and the food is delicious especially the Pasta 🤤 options! I absolutely recommend the Pasta Svongole (veg 🐚 shell fish), but also the Carbonara! We also tried the pizza al taglio and the cannoli dessert! As italian we found the food in this restaurant very tasty and we definitely approved it.
I am not vegan, so only went because of my friend. I was absolutely amazed, as I was ignorantly thinking I would have to eat salad or similar.

It was busy, so there was to a bit to wait, but the staff was amazing on getting us up to date.

Very friendly atmosphere and great decoration.

Def will be coming again when next in Salzburg and will now look at vegan restaurant with a different eye!
As a vegan, I always look forward to trying out new vegan restaurants with my partner, exploring their dishes and checking out the selection. Since the menu was extensive, I sought guidance from the very friendly and sympathetic waiter. With his recommendations, I ordered the antipasti platter for starters, featuring the Piadina 2.0 with wedges for myself and "svongole" spaghetti for my partner as the main course. I highly recommend the antipasti platter as it offers a bit of everything, and the inclusion of calamari simply enchanted me – I was captivated. Moving on to the second course, the Piadina was a dream with seitan that was delightfully juicy, reminiscent of pulled chicken. I devoured it as if there were no tomorrow, while the "svongole" captivated my partner, leading us to philosophize on our way home about how one could conjure such flavors on the table. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert.

In summary, the overall experience was fantastic – authentic and delicious food with generous portions, complemented by excellent service. I tend to read negative reviews, and I must say that the criticisms mentioned did not align with our experience. Some people may always find faults, but if you approach life with joy and positivity, this restaurant will undoubtedly appeal to you. I look forward to becoming a regular soon.
A must stop if you’re vegan and in Salzburg! Easy to take the public bus right to it. Menu available in Germans and English. Friendly staff, cozy inside, delicious food!
This place was absolutely amazing. At first I was unsure why my husband wanted to go for Italian food in Austria, but I am so happy we did. The servers were also very friendly and spoke English. I would definitely come back.

I have to say that it’s really a bad experience!! I asked water for two times. I have ordered the juice and they didn’t give me. When we paid the bill, the staff even went to chat with the other guest and ignored us. Food is not bad, but rubbish service will lead to that we will no go there again.
Such a cozy cafe in Salzburg. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Accepts cash only. Perfect place to start off our morning
The best:

- the place is very cozy and nicely decorated
- cakes are nice

To improve:

- the 3 times i have been here, the 3 rimes the same situation. They had a big indoor area, which would be ideal for people to enjoy and relax, especially for those like me that love having a coffee and reading a book or even doing some computer work. But, they close one section so it cannot be used and people needs to sit crammed on one side only
- they only have one power point, so not very computer friendly spot.
- i paid 6.90 euros for a large coffee. I find it quite expensive

Popped in here this morning for breakfast for 2. We both got the cardamom latte and the French toast butter croissant. Both were incredible. The drizzle in the croissant picture is maple syrup. It was so good I nearly ordered a second one on the spot. I highly recommend stopping in if you have the chance. This food is not to be missed.

A friendly little cafe with great tasting, wholesome food. A simple menu, but something for everyone. We both had the ‘sandwich of the month’ which was a delicious homemade beet patty with amazing dressings in a crunchy ciabatta style bun. The neighbouring table had the French toast which looked great and they seemed to enjoy. The waiting staff spoke English and explained the menu for us.

Best vegan restaurant in Salzburg.
It works for breakfast, brunch, lunch and so on.
New delicious dishes and Kuchen surprises me every time.
Súper recommended.
Got the anti pasta sampler. It was very good.
Pasta was good.
Got the Rigatoni alla Carbonara and the Penne al Salmone.
I’d suggest asking to add a protein like the vegan Scaloppine.

Teramisu was flavorful and perfect.
I love this place if I want peace and to relax. Very relaxing coffeehouse. It is also nice restaurant to have brunch on the weekends.
We came to have breakfast here with a group of 9 people during our stay in Salzburg and everyone loved the food and drinks so much that we came back two more times to enjoy a nice breakfast here.

The waiters and waitresses were very kind and took our orders quickly and even though we were a big group, our orders arrived super fast and everything was delicious, the coffees were also tasty.

We absolutely recommend coming here if you would like to have a nice breakfast and a good coffee.

I stopped by in GustaV for a small bite and for sth to drink, ended up ordering vegan smoothie and vegan cheesecake. Both were super tasty and not too sweet. I saw other people ordering salads, soups, sandwiches. I would recommend coming here for a brunch or desserts, rather than for a bigger dinner 🌱
The best vegan food you will probably find in all of Salzburg! I went for the Carbonara, I have tried many different kinds of vegan pasta dishes but this was undoubtedly the best I have had! The waitresses were super friendly and it is also dog friendly too. A lovely ambience about the restaurant too, the lighting and decor is really comforting. I would definitely recommend 👌
After reading some reviews here and on happy cow we were a bit uncertain about how the meals would be.

I'm happy to report that everything was excellent. The highlight was the Greek pizza: somehow the base was both doughy and crispy at the same time and the sauce was to die for.

The staff were attentive and friendly, the restaurant has a very cosy and cool atmosphere. Vegitalian comes highly recommended if you're in or passing through Salzburg 👌

We ate here twice in 2 days.

The first time, we had a ginger kohlrabi soup and dumplings in goulash which were excellent. I loved the flavours of the latter, in particular the sauerkraut, and would have happily eaten a second serving.

On the second visit, we had the soup and a rice patty with mixed salad which was also very palatable.

On weekdays, choices are more limited with a daily soup, daily entree and daily sandwich. On Saturdays, there are additional breakfast options. I really enjoyed how different the food is from the usual tofu, hummus options and would gladly be back again.

Seating is limited as the place is small with only 12 seats indoors.

Cash only.

The plase is small and only takes cash, but the food was amazing, I highly recommend. Normally I don't go to vegan places but this was better than most regular restaurants. The waitress was very nice and explained the menu to us in English. There is also a bathroom if needed

Small Vegan and raw delights bistro. Lovely staff changing the status quo of traditional Austrian traditional food. Aliens welcome. Nice chilled and relaxed vibes. Make sure you ask for the monthly special, it's seasonal :) Great deco and great small awoken library
