Second time here. Main campground was booked for a rally so we were in the overflow area. Main CG is very nice and worth the $37. Overflow is not so nice but still $37. Overflow is full hookup, but it's everyone for themselves. Single water drop shared by each pair of sites...no splitter then it's first come, first served. Electric is at a single panel, so if you're too far for your cord, it looks like it's too bad. Ours reached with 5 feet to spare and we were 1 space over. Between trucks and trains it will get fairly noisy at times. The folks in the office are great though. I'll still come back.
You have to see this beautiful Fairground to believe it. Definitely the nicest, best kept and most beautiful landscaping! 30 & 50 amp , Full Service campsites. The Amish food was amazing!

Goshen Fair is always great and there's something for everyone, whether that's a show or seeing the animals, the rides or just getting some food
The overall feeling was great! The price was low and the parking was free! It was hot so I spent most of my time seeking the breeze; my wife was disappointed by the serious lack of goats but the petting zoo made up for it; I thought the historical farming equipment could've been displayed better (labels go a long way).
Connecticut has some great agricultural fairs and I'd highly recommend visiting one or several.
Went to the goshen fair for the first time yesterday. Had a great time! Had a lot of fun seeing everything. Bunch of rides. Plenty of games, gift shops, animals, and food choices. Of course the food is pricey but it’s a fair. Gotta expect to pay more. Would definitely go back next year
labor day weekend every year...havent gone in a while....but always a great time...went for the entertainment....jimmy sturr..he put on a great show.. the real reason for the fair....the exibits...the competitions...the celebration of agricuture..were all top notch ...go early... stay late to see it all....it may not look like alot....but you cant do it all in just a cupple hours....
Fun for all ages. I just suggest staying away from Steak Tips food stall. No flavor, all oil. And had to find a bathroom ASAP after 5 mins of eating. Other than that the animals were amazing, staff was awesome!

Well cared for fairgrounds. Parking is on grass, and pathways are dirt and stone-typical for fairgrounds so were appropriate footwear. I recently visited during the Litchfield County 4H Fair which was well-organized and impressive efforts by county youth.
Awesome fair. Grew up going here and didn't realize how big it was until I went to other county fairs. Very organized. Always great concerts. The truck/tractor pull is massive with many competitors. Food vendors are great. The 4-H animal and exhibit building programs are super competitive. Free parking. You do have to pay for grandstand seating now. Grandstands used to be included in the cost of admission but to get a seat you had to wait for hours. The Goshen/Elkhart County community does a great job putting this fair together every year.
Had a great time at the county fair only thing is that some of the food vendors' sale their food is too pricey
It was a pretty fun time. We got to see some animals and go on rides and see Skillet! We visited on there 150 year anniversary of the fair and I can tell they had pride in that. It was a fun time there was also a drone show. I definitely enjoyed my time to want to come back
Great variety of rides for the kids young and old. Amazing selection of food for the grown-ups. I like the Greek food and the pie stand. The drone show they do at night is amazing too.

It was small but had a lot to do. Rides for kids to teens food decent but overpriced. Free event with the admission. Clean and well kept up. 4 dollars to park. Admission 25 for adults. Bring some cash cards are not accepted at the gate and with some vendors.
Rented a spot for a table for my business, but also walked around and took it all in on Friday. It was full of amazing food vendors, sprinkled with some other vendors such as Lincoln Tech along with carnival rides for little and big kids, some zoo attractions, a mechanical bull to ride as well as concerts and horse racing. All in all a great experience and will definitely be back as a vendor next year!
2023.. visited the grandstands to watch the Pacers and trotters race. Then we walked the fairground and enjoyed the food.
2017...We are enjoying our stay somewhat.. Bicycle trails are close. Watched a fireworks demonstration last night. If the fairgrounds could help with snow and rain predicted to night ❓😳🙄🙂 The party in the building at Oak and Aster is quite annoying. Music started at 3:00 or so. It is still going on at 9:00 pm. Can not hear the tune but feel the base inside our RV❗We are at lot 158 with the rabbit building between us and the music.. Not cool.
This fair is wonderful. My husband is limited in his walking. The fair has so many benches, and areas of shade, it makes walking it so much easier. There are air conditioned buildings, and more benches and chairs to rest in. Lots to see and enjoy. I love seeing so many young people involved in 4-H too!
