Incredibly lovely staff and as good as everyone says!

Came by before a show for some fries and beer, and had to be in and out within 20 minutes (poor planning on my part).

The servers were so helpful and accommodating! Fries were super delicious, and I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu and beers :)
Cool place to visit! Decent food, excellent craft and a nice atmosphere. My colleagues took me here on my last day in Toronto and it was a great place to end my stay. Staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy. Nothing wrong with anything. The brew was delicious. To be clear, if you’re looking for a place to enjoy a craft beer and a nice view of the lake, this is your place. If you’re looking for just a restaurant to enjoy food, it’s decent. We had appetizers and they weren’t awful. The artichoke dip was delicious. The fish tacos were different from what I’ve had but good. The buffalo sauced wings had a darker appearance but not bad. It was a good end to my visit.

Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner at Amsterdam Brew House. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. However, we were disappointed when we requested a different table, but were denied despite two available tables marked as reserved that remained unoccupied throughout our meal. Additionally, we left 15 minutes before closing time and noticed no one else arrived during that time, which was surprising. Despite these minor issues, it was an enjoyable experience overall.

This restaurant by the lake is more of a touristy spot. The food was average, but sitting outside offered a view of the lake, which was somewhat scenic. Unfortunately, the staff couldn’t attend to the outdoor diners well; the water hardly got refilled. If I were to visit again, I’d opt for indoor seating where the decor is also more appealing.
We booked a staff social in the lower level of the Liberty Commons today and when we arrived with 30 of our team for drinks and food we learned there had been a scheduling error and they weren't actually expecting us. Johnny and Shannon jumped right into action, setting up the space for us, and we were sat within minutes. We had drink orders taken (and delivered!!!) so quickly, and food followed fast behind. Shannon was an absolute angel, taking allergies and food preferences into acccount as she carefully tended to each of us around the table. James was behind the bar, refilling drinks and keeping everyone happy - we wanted for nothing! Thank you for taking the BEST care us and making a work event run so smoothly. We will be back!!
Thai Curry Chicken dish had zero Curry flavor, excellent coconut flavor but it was only on haft my bed of rice...fresh peppers. fish & fries had no salt & lacked flavor ...coleslaw tastes like it contains malt vinegar...strange taste & didn't look appealing. Margarita pizza in he stone oven on site was fantastic... Beers were good. Beautiful building with what appeard to be an unfinished mural above the bar. We visited on New Years eve & were told at the entrance that the establishment had a 2 hour seating limit. We had our drinks in 10 mins but didn't get our food order taken till 40 minutes. My daughter in law & I wanted 12 hr smoked brisket sandwich but we were told by the server that it wasn't available...this was 5pm. * if you expect a busy day preparing more smoked Brisket would be recommended. They weren't serving Brisket so we settled for the Thai Curry dish (*no curry to be found in the dish*. I would not go back unless I wanted pizza.

Went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. There were a lot of big groups and what seemed like families. Seems like a pretty good environment for most hangouts. The place is quite large and open. I still had to exert myself when talking in terms of noise level, but it was not the loudest place I’ve been to.

Had the beer flight with the hoppy beers. My friend ordered a beer flight as well, and both of our flights came within I’d say 10 minutes or so of ordering which was nice. Our server went through what each of the beers were as she placed them down on the table.

I had the brisket dinner. It came with smashed potatoes, some beans, and coleslaw. The brisket was tasty and very tender. It was filling too.

Our server was very attentive throughout and definitely contributed to the positive experience.

They’re cooking up something special here!

Dined in on a Thursday night and we were immediately greeted by super friendly servers who showed us to a cozy table in a dimly lit, elegantly decorated long room.

Next, Chef Tom and friends put together some truly mouthwatering dishes! We had some hearty “buns in butter”, creamy gnocchi (our personal favourite), and a complex “delicata squash” with a nice crunch, paired with crisp kombucha on tap.

Fantastic food, an ambiance to match, and even better people make this place a MUST VISIT!!!
experience was tainted by creepy general manager — I came here to celebrate my birthday last night with a large group. They had a long table ready on our arrival. it was lovely, Sugar our server was amazing and all the drinks were delicious. the food was decent, we just got some snacks to share for the table. my one big complaint is the “general manager” an old white man came over and told me to “put on a shirt” as i was wearing an open back shirt which covered me completely in the front. i felt this was extremely inappropriate and made me feel very insecure and uncomfortable as he stood there until i put my friend’s sweater on. i almost felt like crying honestly which sounds dramatic but it was really awkward as my friends watched and later asked if i wanted to leave. i decided to stay as our drinks just arrived and shake it off, Sugar later came to apologize for his behaviour which was very kind and i really really appreciated and she told me that he had left. after that i had more fun and tried to let go of the feeling. when she brought out the cake with sparklers in it it was so fun and she even brought me more sparklers to hold which was super fun hehe. overall great celebration other than general managers behaviour. this is no way to treat a customer on a special night who came in an outfit that i felt beautiful in and i believe to be “appropriate”, whatever that means. please treat female patrons with more respect in the future and consider how your actions will affect their self esteem.
Love this place. Dog-friendly, great beers, nice snacks and last but by no means least, there's always a wonderful member of staff behind the bar!
Had a great dinner here last Saturday with friends. Love the creative menu choices that are meant for sharing. Tried about 8 different items on the menu and ALL were delicious! Especially liked the pickled egg, buns in butter, grilled chicory, baked brie and the special of the day (stuffed chicken wing) was amazing, and last but not least the blooming onions and ricotta donuts... SO delicious!! Service was excellent and loved the cozy ambiance of this place. Goes without saying the house made beer selection was excellent. Freezer martini and wine menu was also great option for non beer drinkers. Highly recommend this spot!!

Diego is the man! He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the beer on tap. He helped us find something we each would like.

The beer, music, and atmosphere was great! 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will visit again.
Thanksgiving sneaked up on me this year and I didn’t have any plans to cook this weekend. In a city that makes simple things complicated (preorder this & that with all sorts of crazy deadlines) this was a pleasant surprise. The wood fired turkey & sides were delicious ! Thank you 🙏🏼

What makes this place special is it’s location. Situated right across Harbourfront, the views from this place are immaculate. It is perfect for a date day/night, a family gathering or a friends day out.
They make their beer in-house which is amazing and have plenty of seating area, inside, patio and the deck.
I would like to add that their menu is pretty limited and I would rate the food a 3.5/5.
What a fantastic neighborhood brewery. Saulter street Brewery is my type of place. Great rustic feel in a 100+ year old building. Local bartender who was great to talk with. Fun artwork.
Enjoyed having big screen TVs to watch the local sports. There were seats both at a long bar as well as couch types of seats for sitting around and talking while enjoying your pint.
If you are looking for a tasting room with a very home type of feel, then this is your place. If you are looking for a restaurant which happens to brew beer, then I would recommend looking elsewhere.
Loved this brewery! The atmosphere is awesome in its own tucked away spot in Leslieville, and the brewery gives so many reasons to sit and stay from its beer, vibe and board games!
We had intended to visit this restaurant for a while, and we finally made it. Despite not having a reservation, they kindly accommodated us on a Saturday. Our order comprised appetizers and sandwiches, all of which were amazing and delicious. Our server was exceptionally friendly and professional. The restaurant is spacious and enjoyable. We'll definitely be returning.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say I had an interesting experience. I ordered a burger for $20, and to my surprise, it came without any side dishes, just a plain burger. It left me expecting a bit more for the price.

Furthermore, when it came time to celebrate a birthday at our table, we had to ask the waiter to check with the manager if we could bring in a birthday cake. It seemed like an unusual request, and it would have been nice if such arrangements were clearly mentioned on the menu or website.

To add to the confusion, the service charge was not listed on the menu either. We were informed verbally that there was a $5 per person service charge, which was unexpected.

Overall, while the food quality was decent, the lack of transparency regarding additional charges and the need to consult the manager for simple requests left me with mixed feelings about my dining experience at this restaurant.

Amazing brewery and selection of beers. Staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. Make sure you try their birthday cake beer— my ultimate favorite!

Their wings are also delish, they have board games and anything you need to have a great time. Kid friendly and pet friendly too!

Been here many times. This is a large place but still can get very busy due to its proximity to a lot of tourist attractions downtown especially when there is a game on. When they are busy the wait can be long to get seated and food will take longer than usual. The decor is cozy and the atmosphere can feel quite vibrant. Service has always been adequate. There is a large selection of beers to choose from and the food is reasonably good! On a nice day, the outside patio is often busy because it has a nice view of the lake. This is a fabulous place to hang out with friends if you are not pushed for time. Another good thing is that they can accommodate large groups.
Giving 5 stars for the service, and the food was great except for the brisket, which tasted delicious however was very dry and somewhat tough. The three small slices for $29 was also very overpriced. The BBQ burger and everything else was excellent, as were the beers. I would recommend this place, but not the brisket.

The server Yoni was delightful, friendly and helpful. He provided a detailed rundown of the menu and was polite.
My friend and I really enjoyed the beer we chose and it went exceptionally well with the food.

Food
We split the burger and fries. The burger was juicy and delicious. The fries were spiced, crispy and had a tasty dip included.

Feedback

The area we were seated was way too crowded loud and awkward. As there were already several people seated at the benches.

Not ideal for friends who want to catch up.
We immediately asked to sit elsewhere and were then offered a spot in the front terrace area.
The barstools were also uncomfortable, but it was still better for us to be able to chat.
We appreciated the switch, but we could have just been offered a choice when we were first seated and it would have been more welcoming.

My wife and I had a Sunday lunch at Amsterdam Brewhouse. Most outdoor tables were filled, but we got a shady table on the upper back deck. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious (though my fries were not fresh). Our server was nice enough, but was definitely "on island time". I had to request our check about 20 minutes after we finished eating. But the brisket sandwich is killer, and I enjoyed my Space Invader IPA. You cannot beat the harbor views too.
Exceptional Brew Discovery at Longslice Brewery!

I had the wonderful opportunity to savour the Sky Bison APA by Longslice Brewery at the Lesliville beer festival in Toronto recently , and I must express my sheer delight! Right from the very first sip, it became evident that this was a remarkable experience in the making. The Sky Bison APA boasts a delightful, crisp, and invigorating flavor that strikes a perfect harmony with just the right touch of hoppy richness. The inviting aroma and intricate flavor palette truly stood out.

One aspect that truly left an impression was the meticulous craftsmanship that Longslice Brewery dedicates to their creations. The distinct fusion of flavors within the Sky Bison APA and the seamless texture of each sip distinctly reflect the dedication and passion infused into its crafting process. The team at Longslice Brewery proved to be not only welcoming but also highly knowledgeable, enhancing the overall journey. Kudos to John and team !

This recommendation comes wholeheartedly, whether you're a seasoned aficionado of craft beers or simply seeking an exceptional beverage. I enthusiastically suggest indulging in the Sky Bison APA at Longslice Brewery – a testament to the brewers' unwavering commitment and expertise. With great anticipation, I look forward to revisiting and discovering more of the brewery's offerings. Here's to Longslice Brewery for providing an unparalleled and lasting beer-tasting adventure.

The Brisket Mac & Cheese was PHENOMENAL! The Southwest Pizza was quite good as well! Great food! Great view! Service was okay. Not really that friendly.
When taking my seat, I got brushed/pushed by a worker which was not acknowledged. I do have a disability due to a car accident and that was not something anyone would know by just looking at me, however, I do take my time and I believe the worker could have been a bit more patient.

Anyhow, I would definitely visit again for the food and the views!
We visited the Amsterdam Brewery and it offers a charming spot in the heart of downtown. You can admire the harborfront and the CN Tower from here, making it a special place that combines city vibes with nature's beauty. There are comfy outdoor patios and cozy indoor seats for a nice time no matter the weather.

When we went on the weekend, there was a busy entrance, but the line moved quickly thanks to their fast service. We ordered yummy spinach and artichoke dip and really crispy fries, both much tastier than expected.

The staff were friendly, making the place even more pleasant. We tried different craft beers like the bold Boneshaker, the refreshing Big Wheel, and the intriguing Space Invader. The Big Wheel stood out with its impressive flavors.

To sum it up, our time at the Amsterdam Brewery was truly wonderful. We absolutely suggest this spot if you want to chill, enjoy amazing views, and relax on the deck. It's a real treasure that lets you unwind and savor the good things in life.

Great location. Great food with a huge patio area. And the selection of beers is outstanding. Also they serve other drinks of beer isn't your thing!
Stopped here before going to a concert at the Budweiser. I have to say, this was the best service I've had at a restaurant in Canada. Every server looked at my table when passing by for any empty dishes and drinks. Good to see everyone working as a team, especially when it was so busy. Nice selection of beers and food was great. I'll definitely stop back when I have the chance, cheers guys.
We've been there at the first time a week ago. It's a good place, the envinronment is welcome, people are kind. I would not say that the burger is the best one that I've already tasted, but it's a good one. Four stars for service because we had to ask 3 times for the bill. I believe that's a place you should go, specially if you get a table in from of the lake. Beautiful view.
Awesome spot to grab a drink and dinner. If you are adverse to cilantro, I would advise your server before ordering because they tend to use quite a lot in their dishes.

Great service, quick and attentive. The Mexican Fiesta beer is nice on a hot, sunny day.
Fantastic place to sip a beer with friends and spend a relaxing afternoon , the place is very enjoyable, the service is great and lots of locals visit the place. You can bring your pup
A hidden gem. The fact that you access this from a pretty nondescript road, and the casual nature of how it operates makes it really cool. Feels like you’d have to know someone that knows someone to find it. Which is how I ended up here twice already. At this point though, I don’t think it is much of a secret anymore.

The bartender is very nice. Relaxed, and treats everyone like a neighbor. The place has a really great neighborhood feel. Sitting here the other day, we felt like we were on vacation in some place else.
We were really impressed by the service, especially Erin! Lovely patio, strongly air conditioned interior, very nice bathrooms, and yes, they take reservations! Food is tasty with lots of veggie healthy options. Best of all, affordable and approachable but still classy and nicely decorated. We'll be back!
Amazing place by the waterfront and if your table is having view of the lake then it’s a lucky day. Place usually gets busy and you have to line up to get the table. We were lucky to get the table instantly as we entered. We arrived just before it got busy. We requested to have table has the lake view, they mentioned, “certainly, if you can wait for few minutes” and witching 5 minutes we given the table. Food and service was amazing. No rush and we could spend nice time. I definitely come again and recommend to experience this great place.
Super down to earth brewery, very much a neighborhood shop. The place is dog friendly our pup sat with us the whole time. Even when he acted up a bit with another dog joining the party there were no eyebrows raised. We did what we could to calm him down but he's pretty reactive. Very pleased with the service and dog friendly attitude.

I have never been here - BUT! Their Princess Celmentine is unlike any sour beer I've ever had. It is my favourite by a LONG SHOT! It isn't puckery, or sickeningly over sweetened. It has a beautiful citrus hit, yet I still taste the beer. Lightly sweet. A dash of sour. Fantastic. Whenever this comes in stock at the lcbo I buy a bunch. 10/10. Bonus: it has the cutest 'magical girl' looking art on the can. Its a gemstone clementine on a scepter... get out that's bloody cute.
Great service and very good food. Their fried chicken burger on special was tasty, but I think they fry their chicken in the same oil they use for their fish, as there was definitely a fishy taste to the chicken, or at least the oil.

Amazing experience!!

My workplace held a staff gathering on the covered patio and I was so impressed with everything. The food was GREAT, especially the cheese board (and I'm a cheesemonger) - the selection of cheeses were really impressive (and local!).

The finger foods were delicious (fried chicken bites, beef and lamb sliders, squash chips, desserts and more), and the drinks were great too of course.

But the best part was how kind and courteous the staff were. They were super great about passing around food and making sure everyone was taken care of, they were friendly and I never felt like we were being a bother even though there were so many of us and we were quite noisy.

Finally, the atmosphere of the patio was just beautiful. And the heaters are super warm, so I'd imagine you can come here throughout the winter!

Absolutely recommend this place, whether for a casual hang or an event! Thanks for a great time Burdock Brewery staff!
Authentic English fare! The chef is British and inspires the brunch menu to an amazing degree. We got the Full English and the Scotch egg breakfast. The portions are not huge but the flavours are extremely satisfying. You can tell that real care and attention was spent on the sauces and garnishes. Extremely tasty British food with a spacious basement pub setting make this a winner!

Great selection of beer and available food from the attached Aviary restaurant. Nice covered patio area to cool down on a warm summer day (and escape a little rain) after hanging out at Corktown Common with the family. Highly recommend the Aloha Friday Hibiscus Ale and Hopsta La Vista IPA.

Always love their beer! This spot is amazing. Also had the most fun spending new years 2020 here! I got some quick to-go cans today, excited to try the new options!
Very cool atmosphere, large accessible washroom, and great beers. You have to walk off of Queen E a bit but very much worth the discovery of this great Brewery. Staff were very fast and friendly. Definitely a must try for any beer lover! Some board games and cards are available for use.
