New Zealand founded. Love the Shoreditch location. Great coffee. Scrambled eggs on sourdough w/ mushrooms. Love the good. Banana bread w/ smoked butter. Granola & berries. Warm & friendly service. Best breakfast in London. But don’t tell anyone.
went on a Saturday morning (around 10am), there was a small queue but it went quick. host and server were friendly! coffee and veggie brekkie were delicious. banana bread with smoked butter was alright - a bit pricey and the smoke flavour tasted a bit artificial. otherwise all in all a solid place - will definitely be returning.
I was hoping for something better. "French toast" brioche with peanut butter and sweetened blueberries. Too sweet, and not really French toast. Overpriced for one smallish slice of toasted bread.
The poached eggs, whipped yoghurt etc, was tastier.

Delicious brunch, and you can go solo and sit at their bar seating. The coffee is strong and delicious. Beware: Service will seem slow for the typical American, so don’t have scheduled plans for right after.
I turned up after getting caught in torrential rain to meet a friend having bizarrely and coincidentally had brunch at Caravan Kings Cross just before. Caravan serve great coffee and excellent food with friendly staff who introduced me to their cocktails which were delicious. Strongly recommend. Thank you!

Day 1: Lamb Mince toast, Aeropress coffee. Think of this as a classy, breakfasty sloppy Joe. Wow. The labneh cuts the sweetness. Stellar.
Day 2: Eggs, Belly Bacon, Sourdough Toast, Aeropress and batch brew. Simple but elevated. Cooked in front of you great atmosphere. On point.
Day 3: Chili XO eggs, belly bacon, aeropress, cold brew. STUNNER. These eggs and chili oil and dipping bread. How. WHAT? I don’t get how it can be this good.
Day 4: back to the lamb mince but added an egg. Keep me coming back. Need to try the mushrooms.
Friend ate the Benedict with bacon, looks wildly good.
Coffee is honestly excellent. Crafted.

Food could use a bit more seasoning however the desserts & bake counter stuff were amazing. Coffee is fantastic and stuff are very welcoming and polite. I would recommend you book a table in advance as we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated.
Had a really great tasting coffee to take away, and the cinnamon bun was decent too. Staff were friendly and the sit in atmosphere seemed like it would be very pleasant, I'm excited to come again.

An excellent experience on the Roastery Tour. A very knowledgeable guide, happy to go over time to ensure all our questions were answered, a good range of coffee to taste & a bag of our favourite beans to take away.
I’ve been to this cafe twice. The first time I went, I asked for an iced chocolate and got scoffed at as if I was asking for the moon. It’s fine that they don’t serve it, but it’s not right making your customers feel stupid for asking. Eventually she said “um.. okay sure”. I proceeded to hear the barista discussing it still while I was waiting as if I asked for something so outrageous. I chucked it off as just a bad day for the barista and moved on. The second time I went, I asked for an iced macchiato, and I was responded with “have you ever been served that here?”; I fully acknowledge I am not a coffee expert, I am merely just a daily consumer looking to try new cafes, but I don’t need this condescending attitude over a cup of brew. That is not the way to respond to your customers. Again, it’s ok that you don’t serve that, but I am not a regular and I’m merely asking to know. Anyway, that’d be the last time I’ll ever visit. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a friendly environment unless you’re a coffee expert then maybe you’d be treated differently.
honestly 10/10 🫶🏼 all round relaxed atmosphere with a menu that has something for everyone & the presentation/flavours of the food don’t miss. Amazing scran, vibey music, cute atmosphere & perfect service from Emma, super relaxed but didn’t miss a thing, really made our night. Niamh was a sweetheart too. The iced latte was so good we had to double up. Best coffee in LDN. I’ll stop now or i’ll just keep yapping.
Came here mid 2023 and now been here 3 days straight this visit. The food, coffee and staff are motivation to return. I love great service with sincere kindness. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the coffee and meal.

Loved this place. Went there for lunch, and was a bit sceptical as I had ordered Crispy Tofu but it was so delicious, silky and the flavours we so well-balanced. Will visit again. The service was excellent even when I was alone the service was up to the mark. Will visit again :)
This isn't your ordinary coffee shop! This family-run gem focuses on simplicity, with fresh-roasted and ground beans that shine through in every cup. Highly recommend for a different kind of coffee experience.
Spacious inside is great to meet friends for breakfast,brunch,lunch while chitchatting. Coffee selection brew depending on the origin shows that they really know what they’re doing 🙏 but non-coffee items are also tasty. Food menu has wide range of quality healthy selection.

Visiting London this week and I am so glad I found this place. Great atmosphere, nice people, and of course wonderful coffee and food. The eggs Benedict is an experience. We have amazing food in Los Angeles but I will miss that dish for sure. It was a nice morning walk of 15-20 min.. I would have been happy to double that. Went several times.

Really tasty food and mocktail options. The menu is very interesting with a lot of healthy options. The only downside was the caramelised brioche dessert - personally it wasn’t sweet enough but all in all very tasty.
"Exceptional coffee experience! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly roasted beans filled the air. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and guided me through their diverse selection of beans. I left with a bag of their signature roast and can't wait to savor every cup.

Delicious coffee, cakes, sandwiches. Adorable staff. Local clientele and a very relaxed London vibe and interiors. It's a roastery, so you can buy the coffee you just tasted, whether you want 500 gr or 15 kg is entirely up to you.
Popped in for a coffee hit and was really pleasantly surprised. Super cute shop, lots of teas to buy as well as food and drink options. Quick and friendly service, it was Sunday afternoon and there were a few people just hanging out. Really big cappuccino for the same price and you would elsewhere get a tiny, average cup. Would happily come back.
It’s maybe unfair to give 3 stars for the food when all I had was one flat white on oat, once. And there’s really nothing wrong with their coffee, actually the brew is EXCELLENT, fresh, flavourful and full bodied, it’s just not done exactly the way I like it like soooo many others in the rest of the world. Mind you 4 stars is pretty damn high marks for a coffee that didn’t have The Milk (to be fair an impossible ask given it’s an Australian product), or enough milk. As usual it was a bit stronger than I like. If they made it any weaker you’d taste the milk too much, so I guess…ok. I’ll come back tomorrow, and try the soy and maybe use my own mug, and maybe have more milk, and maybe ask for an extra hot (for once it was a quaffable temperature, but I like it a little hotter).

My absolute favourite cafe in Angel. Great coffee and I get freshly ground beans for home as well. Great atmosphere and just the loveliest owners too. Love everything that they do. There's a reason it's become a local hub.

I’ve been here many times and always the 2 blonde woman at the till are always rude with an attitude towards the customers. Poor customer service overall, unwelcoming staff and poor atmosphere!
For the third time, I have ordered a sandwich which has very little filling. Salmon sandwich contains just one thin slice of salmon. I’ve noticed that the portions are smaller here than in other Prets.
Obviously the harsh reviews have been taken to heart. Staff were friendly today. Coffee as usual (good). I tried the salmon rye roll (wow - great).
Came at an off-peak time and bought a salad. After paying the 25% mark up to eat in (it was raining outside), there were no forks. At all. In the entire place. I took my salad back for a refund so I could go eat at a restaurant that actually provides utensils, and the people working copped an attitude. I won’t complain too much about the abysmal service, since I bet the people working here don’t get paid enough for that. But I wasn’t going to pay extra to eat my salad with a spoon. They refunded the salad but not the drink and I had to go somewhere else. Luckily there are dozens of not hundreds of food establishments in the area. Definitely give this place a pass.
The best coffee roasters in Islington hands down. The people who run this place are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the coffee - getting a morning coffee it's like going to a wine tasting evening, they'll happily tell you all about the beans and their process.
You can get the best coffee here in the angel neighbourhood!

Barista was not only rude to the lady in front of me, urging her to hurry up and being snappy with her but rude to me as well. She made multiple angry remarks as I was paying for my items and blamed me for issues going on with the scanner. Was clearly having a hard day which I understand as a service worker myself, however taking it out on the customers is never ok and leaves a bad reputation. I had never had an experience like this at pret before but it definitely changed how I feel about it. Quite a bummer
The flat white I bought is ok kotu no, I think it can't be that milk is poured on the top of the waiting coffe, plus if you ask many people, they will all say it's bad, change it, I threw the pret coffe in the trash.
I love this place. The breakfast is always phenomenal but today I tried lunch... This was absolutely wonderful. Being able to sit outside and soak up the sun whilst lunching was divine. The waiters were wonderful with a smile plastered on their faces with friendly banter and good recommendations on the dishes. 10 out of 10! Can't wait to go back.
I'm a volunteer for Olio and I pick up Surplus food from here and the staff are nice at the stores I pick up from in Liverpool Street station, I wish that Olio would get them back for me to collect from them as my community like there food stuff and at least the young one's and students, homeless etc can eat and it doesn't go to waste.
I ordered Soya Cappuccino Was early in the morning and no other customers around so easy order , but the bartender did a soya latte and when the called the order i said that i ordered Cappuccino Soya . What he did? Put cocoa powder on top and called the order again as Cappuccino... He was confused why i told him that Cappuccino is different from Latte.. They dont care what you order And the shop is also a bit messy.I don't recommend this location !!!! For Liv st coffee location ia better the one in the station 100%
Great coffee bar with the bonus of being able to view their coffee production set up too. Its pretty awesome. With the addition of a bakery, you can enjoy great coffee, pastries and lunch from this little gem of a place!
The best coffee shop with beans of the highest quality. Very labtop friendly. Enjoy listening to the sound of coffee beans being roasted and chilling music from speakers which is a nice background noise for studying!

Tried their latte and a croissant for breakfast. They were both nice. The barista was friendly and efficient. I must go back for their speciality coffee next time. It's also nice you can collect Embargo stamps here.
I'm a regular at this Pret branch and all staff here are fantastic! Always ready to serve me with a smile. Visited today and Mohsin put a huge smile on my face with his friendly customer service :).
Lovely breakfast/brunch place. The food is really good and the menu is very diverse for different tastes and dietary requirements. The prices are okay for the quality of food. We had the baked eggs which was super delicious! Their coffee is also top. Their outdoor seating is also really nice during the summer time. Highly recommended!
You really need to do something with queue time guys... this is not acceptable... I understand that you will apologise and etc. But just do something about it instead...
Absolutely love this coffee shop. Friendly staff who really care, and want to make sure you enjoy what you’re ordering. Highly recommend this place. It’s great to pop in and get a coffee and also a good place to sit and write or watch the world go by.
I order a coffee and forgot to say that my girlfriend Mocha was with the oat milk, and after receiving a normal one , my girlfriend ask gently to the Barista to have another one with Oat milk instead of the regular one, and the Barista reply "No problem, i will do another one".
He probably take half of the milk out and add some oat milk, because my girlfriend now, that is intolerant, is sick.

Bright and vibrant settings. Hopefully the hot chocolate will one day be vegan....I had a green tea instead. They do have vegan treats but they were sold out. Definitely worth a go for coffee lovers.
As pret goes it’s a pretty basic coffee shop but it never has ice .. Half the drinks menu isn’t available because you can only get hot drinks. As an avid iced late lover it’s disappointing to say the least.. may just cancel my subscription tbh
Nice breakfast/brunch place on the corner street in Exmouth Market. While the market street was quiet on the Sunday we visited, this cafe was vibrant and busy inside. There’s good selection of breakfast and brunch options on their menu and we had the pancakes and the chorizo with potatoes, poached eggs and spinach and both were delicious. Their coffee was really nice too.
More a takeaway branch. Located outside the busy Liverpool Street Station. There are many branches close by in the area. Service was good. Not that huge a selection of products but sufficient. The chai latte was good. Just wish when you say extra hot, you get extra hot rather than warm.
I've been on a personal quest to find a great croissant in London and was just delighted to try it here. It was super crispy and flakey on the outside and had a moist and buttery inside. The croissant was a treat just by itself!
I enjoyed the chocolate cookie and the sourdough bread, too. We'll definitely be back for more!

This Pret a manger located near to Liverpool station is quite small. It is good when the order/delivery service is so fast.
Unfortunately the music so high in the little space. Because of that employees in Front of house, they scream a loud the coffee orders to the customers.
15 minutes in shop I had headache because of loud voice of employees and music.
They should turn down the music volume. I don't want come back, because the environment so small and so LOUD!!!

Bad service, the waiter who worked told me that “ I can stay out or inside “ and when I went outside to stay SHE told me “ we are closed just take way !!! The time was 7:30 pm.
Absolutely disaster coffee. Ordered soya latte. Received weirdly looking liquid with zero taste. Extremely overpriced, unfriendly service, dirty restrooms. Avoid!
Really solid coffee - but note that it’s actually part of the Vardo cafe across the street and not in the building where Google maps points you to.
Enjoyed a light lunch here of a sandwich and some coffee. The staff were helpful and friendly and prices are reasonable. Coffee was delicious and presented beautifully. Venue is clean and offers indoor seating, a clean restroom, and electric plugs for your devices. Take away beans are available for sale, as well.

A relatively new, but really lovely little cafe selling their own roast and everything you might need for your own setup at home. Also really fantastic. If you want to learn a little bit about coffee, the staff really do care about what they do.
Looking forward to trying some food next time.

I got coffee here and definitely one of the best cup of joe I've had in recent times. Baristas were cheerful, friendly and upbeat; a much needed vibe during these tough times. Support them and get your takeaway cuppa when you are in the area!
Nice place to have organic food & beverages in town. This is the most underrated fast food stop restaurant in a healthy life style for anyone who wants to fitting up the way of life. I love being here & have their foods & beverages. It's so me as vegetarian warrior over the country. The price is moderately in average as Londoners but not me as foreigner. But I do understand well on this issue, not a such a problem for me.
