Beautiful artwork. Amazing workers and staff. Specially one staff member, Ryan Baez had a very well constructed conversation with me while encouraging me to join. Really inspired me to join. Will come again, not only for the wonderful staff, but the spectacular artwork.

TCR is a very unique recreational facility that has everything a family or individual might want in a super-convenient Riverdale location close to Westchester and Manhattan.

My kids have flourished in the tennis, golf, swimming, after school and camper programs, and I personally love the fitness center, yoga and steam bath.

The staff have always been friendly and willing to work with me to suit my family's needs, and I hope we continue to enjoy being members of TCR for many years to come.
Great family-run facility, we are members and have kids in the afterschool programs (swim, tennis & golf). Staff are very responsive and our kids have a lot of fun
TCR is a family run business & has been my savior for many years. There is a great selection of classes taught by motivating & supportive instructors. The pool, sauna & steam room was recently renovated which now has its own heating system, so lovely especially on those cold winter days. Barbecues, holiday parties & special gatherings are all part of the clubs resume. Theres so much to say about this club, my best recommendation is to try it out. I am moving out of NY & TCR will be REALLY MISSED❣️😎
Jolene is such a great trainer! Her Splash Fit Class is awesome & I highly recommend to anyone who wants a fun, intense workout!
One of the worst clubs in the city. Coaches come and go. Josh typically lies about his involvement and will often have more kids on a given court than promised. Avoid at all cost. They will probably respond with a canned answer about the coach to player ratio, and the care they feel for their players. Words ring hollow when they're not backed up by fact.
It's such a great spot for tennis! Brent, Josh, and all the staff are super nice and are fantastic pros. I feel that my level is much higher since I've been going there. I only use it for the tennis, I have not used the pool or other facilities. Highly recommended if you want a good/nice tennis experience and want to raise your game.
I've really only used TCR as a tennis facility and for that I can say it's excellent! My husband and I regularly take lessons there and we both are finding our game so much improved. All the staff are friendly and professional but in particular we feel so lucky to work with Josh and Brent. I take a clinic weekly with Josh and if it weren't for his boundless energy, tough love and purposeful encouragement as well as supreme skills on the court I'm not sure I would be able to get myself there every week. But, thanks to Josh, I look forward to it so much. He makes it fun, a great workout, and a high quality investment in skill development. My husband and I also take doubles lessons with Brent regularly and there is no pro with the encyclopedic knowledge of the game that Brent has and is able to impart each time! He's been able to help us strategize our doubles technique as well as work on all the individual skills we need (even at our very disparate levels). I've recently started competing in doubles league matches and if it weren't for the instruction I've received at TCR from Josh and Brent I would be in no way ready or confident enough to do so. For high quality tennis instruction in the NYC area, TCR is an excellent value and I cannot recommend Josh and Brent enough!

My wife took my son and one of his friends to try out a tennis session. She told the club if boys liked it they would come back weekly. Kids did not love it so we did not come back. fast forward months later. checking Credit card statements and see huge bill from club. they charged us each month
for like 5 months and we never were there once for tennis clinics. We checked with other parents and found out they were charged also for lessons they never attended. i find it hard to believe this was an oversight. can’t charge for like 5 kids who are never there. someone would notice and question the charges. The club did the right thing and reversed charges but be aware and don’t give your CC or call them and cancel if you decide not to play weekly. We found 3 other parents also charged for months of tennis they never attended.
My son attended "Mind Builders" in the year of 2020. At first, the staff seemed to be very patient, kind, caring, and ready to serve the children's needs. But, when my son was be bullied by another boy in his class and decided to defend himself for the first time, Ms. Desireene took my son by the arm with great force and slightly twisted it. After this incident, Ms. Desireene brought it to my attention with hopes that I would speak to my son about behavior in the classroom. When my son and I left, he apologized and said he was sorry for his behavior, not mentioning the part about the bullying due his level of fear towards Ms. Desireene. It wasn't until the pandemic, when my son was at home with me , did he explain what really happened and why he chose not to say anything. The school itself has great programs and staff members, but as long as Ms. Desireene and Ms. Brittany are the instructor for that one classroom..
I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.
BAD SERVICE! THEY SAID THEY HAS FREE CLASSES BUT WE HAVE TO PAY SO WE JUST LEFT BAD SERVICE FIX UR SERVICE!
Absolutely horrible school that traumatized me for life.
Very nice the festival they organized, all the Goya kids there dancing and delicious greek food
I'm the little girl in the photo at the end of the table waving. Of course I've grown and now I'm in 5th. I've been in this school since pre-k and its great!

My daughter is in 3rd grade headed to fourth and is a 1st honor's student two semesters in a row! She's been enrolled since kindergarten and I couldn't be happier. She's enriched daily! Teachers and Principle are always in communication, they provide daily free breakfast and low cost after school til 6 p.m. Most importantly my daughter is Happy!! She wants to go to school everyday! She will most definitely be enrolled until the 8th grade!
Love the Piano teacher Mr.Perrington!
The Guitar and voice teachers are also great! My girls love it! Price is affordable, place is clean and there is scholarship available! Great Community center...the staff is also friendly🥰
It was an amazing experience to visit a space in the West Farms section of the Bronx which you can flow in your creative juices. The exhibits give you a glimpse of what is possible when cultural opportunities are afforded for this area. There are spaces on the 2nd and 3rd floors for classes and meetings where transformation possibilities in art, film, video, music and writing.

I heard about this place is pottery class available and if so how for a class
Wonderful organization if you looking for a place that cultivates your child's mind. Expands their artistic skills. Gives them confidence to perform in front of a audience.
If the food pantry is not available then take it down your website. I walked to get food and was told that there wasn’t a food pantry when I got there and it wasn’t open? It makes no sense. Then had someone hang up on me as I responded that is extremely rude. Fix your website stop promoting things that are not really available. Take your name of the list of food pantries. Be an authentic church.
Amazing place, friendly staff. My kids loved it!
I never been to Bronx River Art Center before

The best clay court in the town. Great environment. And the guy that running this club amazing, very kind and nice
I was in Matial Arts there and loved it.
The school was great. I attended from 1980 to 1981. I remember the class trips to the Catskills. They were awesome. OLR prepped me for HS really well.
Multiple programs, good after school program, great for neighborhood
I've been at Mindbuilders for over 7 years.I started when I was around 6 and I was nervous. However the staff and the teachers made me realize that their is nothing or be scared of.This is a place to take your kids to over the weekend.
A must for anyone who is a Bronx native. With classes for children to adults with financial aid packages and free workshops and the opportunity to volunteer, this is a haven for any and all artists or those interested in music, theater, dance, anything! Newly renovated space, great area of the Bronx, fun atmosphere and a wonderfully caring staff.
I was brought home from the hospital as a newborn to the building behind it, and grew up a block away, so I'm a little biased. But it is a great place for after school activities and parties. It also keeps the neighborhood kids out of trouble.
my younger sister use to go to mind builders in the 90's and when my daughters ages 15 & 11 showed a passion for dance I thought about this school. To my surprise it was still around and newly improved. the process was easy to enroll and the staff and dancers accepted my daughters with open arms. From this program I see a big difference in my girls: courage, self worth, take charge attitudes. my girls cant wait for this new semester to start. I highly recommend mind builders...
My favorite place to play tennis! The courts are really well kept, and the instructor is very thorough.
I love this place! Everyone is very welcoming and the environment is great. The classes are really helpful and I'm excited to show up to each one.

Best place to play or learn tennis.
Arthur is an exceptional teacher. Always keeps things interesting, intense and helps you improve.
Courts are well maintained, quiet.
Super place and people!
I'm a loyal regular- twice-weekly singles playing with the pros-- at Riverdale Tennis for many years. I love the well-maintained Har-Tru courts and the excellent instruction led by the friendly Arthur Bobko and his team of fine pros. I keep coming back year after year!

Excellent school. Very caring .
GREAT SCHOOL. WE MOVED AND WE MISSED IT.
My neice attends the dance school absolutely amazing the teachers work hard with encouraging students to bring forth and express their talents as well as building their confidence. Ms. Joseline, the hip-hop teacher stood out the most to me she really pushes the kids to be the best they can be. We need more programs like this for communities.
RTC was a great find for me. I receive phenomenal tennis instruction from a variety of instructors. I have been introduced (by Arthur Bobko, head pro) to comparably skilled tennis players with whom I now share lessons, clinics and meaningful friendships. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at RTC.
In a beautiful setting, you can learn from challenging, but warm and supportive instructors. I love this place--and the Har-tru (clay) courts are easy on my hips, knees, and ankles. My favorite place to play-- and work on my skills.
Arthur Bobko who runs RTC is the best tennis pro in all of NY! This club is a hidden gem. Not only is he a great player, he is a great teacher of the game. The club is easily accessible from Westchester or Manhattan. A great, relaxed atmosphere to improve your game!
