My family stopped here for lunch on a trip on July 3, 2024. This is our usual go to place to stop when traveling. We regret this visit as it took forever. It appears that there was only one waitress. Tables were not cleaned. The poor waitress looked very over worked and stressed out. We never saw a manager or any other employee besides the one that sat us. I applaud the waitress. We do not blame her for the horrible situation. This was obviously poor management. That waitress deserves a reward for sticking it out and doing her best to please the customers. I do not remember her name, but it shouldn't be hard to figure out as she was the only one around lunch time. We appreciate her!

The staff is the saving grace for this restaurant: congenial, polite, and very helpful. The restaurant is in dire need of a make-over: the front entrance is small and not designed to accommodate large numbers of customers; the premises are old, tired, and unkempt; and meals here can be hit-or-miss. Specifically regarding my comment on the food, I ordered the hand-breaded fried chicken. One breast was fine, but the second breast was hard in the middle as if the chicken breast was still frozen, making it inedible. Additionally, the corn was hard and tasteless, reminding me of Indian corn. I started eating at Bob Evans in the 1960s and know that the restaurant has and is capable of good quality meals. Corporate should take a look at making some improvements at this location to accommodate the return customers.

This used to be our go to restaurant in town, but the food and quality has done way down hill. The manager is very nice, but I feel like the employees don’t care or want to be there. The food reflects that. If you get take out, it’s even worse. I’m sad that it’s gone down hill. The pot roast was the best thing in the menu in my opinion and the last time I got it, it didn’t have any onions or carrots with it and the smallest amount of actual meat. I don’t want this review to reflect on the manager, as he’s always been kind and helpful but I hope it serves as a wake up call for employees to do better.

Went to Bob Evans last weekend for the first time in years. We were pleasantly surprised with our meals. The food was great, as was the service. We'll definitely be going back. BTW, the pancakes were the best I've ever had.

The service here was great. But let's talk about the food... It's definitely not the same as it used to be. I ordered the sirloin tips breakfast with eggs. I asked if I could have the sirloin tips rare and was told they don't make have a choice in how the steak is cook. Considering that's the main ingredient to the plate the steak was cooked well done almost... Couldn't eat it.

First off, for transparencies sake we came here around noon on a Sunday, and so the church crowd was there and they were busy. It was about a 7 minute wait, so nothing to complain about there. However, the hostess could not confidently convey nearly anything about the wait time. She was obviously stressed, though.

First, the good: Most of the food was excellent, but my wife’s scrambled eggs were visibly dry. The two sandwich platter I ate was delicious and the drinks (lemonade and an Arnold Palmer) were delicious as any.

The bad: The entire front wait staff were overwhelmed. They were discussing seating but were very much arguing about what to do in front of customers. One server, after we had been sat, talked to our waitress and said “When they leave we’ll put so & so on the wait list in their seat.” I see this as awfully impolite, and I felt rushed. There were lines within the restaurant just to leave which ebbed and waned throughout the time we ate.

The staff arguing in front of customers and yelling over tables gives this the 1 star atmosphere rating, the service was lacking but the food was mostly good. If you like Bob Evan’s, come here on a different day than Sunday or avoid the church crowd.

Great place for breakfast in Bedford, Indiana. This location is easy to find right off of highway 37 north. The manager and all the staff were very friendly and professional. I do not think my coffee cup ever got below half and someone would come by and fill it up. The BLT was great as well as the biscuits and gravey. This restaurant is kept very clean.
