We had a wonderful dining experience at this traditional Portuguese restaurant. The octopus was absolutely delicious and tasted authentic, reminding me of the rich culinary traditions of Portugal. The overall experience was delightful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is well-run, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Excellent! My first time writing a review cuz this restaurant deserves it! We had octopus and the gratin which were both delicious, the best meal we had in Portugal. The owner is so lovely and friendly. There is a little surprise for the customer hahah

We had this restaurant saved in our list for Cascais for their local food recommendations. We went to it and indeed had an authentic experience with good food and small tavern vibes. The owner, Rosa, was also our lovely waitress, still using a notebook to write down the orders. The payment is cash only, but this is mentioned and seen from the beginning everywhere. At the end, we received a lovely Polaroid picture of us eating, taken by Rosa, which adds up to the great service that this restaurant provides.

If you are in Cascais do not miss this little gem of a restaurant.
Very friendly family run with very attentive staff and some of the best food I have had in Portugal.
Not a very big menu, which in my mind is a plus as everything is prepared fresh.

This restaurant is such a lovely place. The staff is very friendly, attentive and in a good mood. The owner seems to be a lady in her best days who is just the same.

The food is down to earth and tastes amazing. I never had a tiramisu like that and it was to die for.

The restaurant has an extensive clock collection and is rather small and cozy.

We really liked the dishes and service. But one of the dishes which we tasted was a bit flavourless (maybe it's traditional Portuguese). But overall we loved this place.

Small and cosy place with great local cuisine. Prices are very good vs quality of food. We ordered the cod cake, garlic shrimps, Portuguese sausage and octopus. Everything was very good, but I think my favorite was the Portuguese sausage - something different. We had to wait around 10 minutes for our reservation to free up and we were offered wine and olives on the house which was a nice touch. Another nice touch was the Polaroid picture taken of us and given to us with the bill (along with a shot of Porto wine)- real cute and nice memory. Totally recommend, but better to do a reservation the day before as during lunch hours fill up very fast.

Friendly small restaurant with great food! We had the cod pie (as other reviewers call it) after checking out google reviews and it lived up to the reviews for sure. I included a cleaned up plate for emphasis on how great it was, the fresh orange juice was well worth the 4,5 euros. My friend had the green wine and that was good too, they gave us porto as dessert on the house.
