We just walked out of IHOP! We came in and waited for 15 min to be seated. A young man told us he had been waiting for 10 min longer than we had. The “Hostess” was not handling the seating station when we entered. She nonchalantly walked up and we pointed to the young man to be seated first. She seated him at a booth and when I asked for a booth she said a half booth and half table is all we have. Then the party of two that came behind us was seated in a full both right after us.
We sat there for 10-15 min waiting for the server to come and take our drink order. The party after us was approached immediately and got drinks and we still sat waiting for anyone to acknowledge us. I told my daughter if the server came back and left again without speaking to us we would leave. He once again came and went and we got up and left!

They were not busy by any means, there were plenty of seats available, there were two guys in the kitchen and at least 4 people serving. I may never go back to this place! Terrible neglectful!

Never got to eat. Long wait even though not crowded. What made us leave was the enormous number of orders that were just sitting on the counter waiting to be served to customers. Hot food should be served hot. Sadly we likely will never again see a time when management cares enough to please their customers. It is not always the staff. These folks looked frustrated. Go elsewhere unless you really need a pancake fix.

Stopped here for a late lunch on a long drive. The food was great & the dining environment was nice, only issue was the service was slow despite not being very crowded so it turned into a longer stop on our trip than expected. I would definitely come here again, just probably not if looking for a comparatively quick road trip lunch.

We encountered Mohammed the worst service by a manager this evening Oct 28 at 740 pm. My husband had his service animal with him. He was very nasty by everything. So he called his manager and they was ok with the service animal. Then to find out he was our waiter we got no service. Then when we walked out we heard fxxk you. That was not professional.then when my husband went back in and he was called a nxxxer. We could sue for harassment. Thanks Waffle House for the worst service in history.

I always enjoy my time in IHOP. The food was excellent, I was full only part way through. Our server was friendly and attentive, the food was so well made, and the portions were great. While I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for," it's also nice to see their prices have not inflated as much as other restaurants have, everything was excellent for the price. I plan on coming back soon for more!

Stopped there on our drive up north. We love Longhorn. Can't beat $5 Jack and cokes. The spinach dip was delicious. My husband ordered a ribeye which came out a perfect med. I ordered a NY Strip med it came out well done the first time. The manager was great .. he felt awful since my redo came out med rare. He took care of the food to make up for it

Donna was amazing and took great care of us! The pecan waffle was absolutely delicious and the sausage- yum! Did I mention the sweet tea? Just the right amount of SWEET! Will definitely be back.

My Busy Friendly Waitress was KIND and Knew Her Menu. She was Training a New Girl too for Whom I just Loved also. I Already have Forgotten Their Names, I'm so Embarrassed. She is a Beautiful African American Hard Working Mother in Her Twenties. I want Her to have Credit due making Our Wonderful Breakfast so Delightful!!
She had a Beautiful Smile too. I think Waitresses of America Should be Paid more than $2.13 per hour plus Tips! That's absolutely Insane for it's 2023 Not 1993!!!

Typical Longhorn restaurant, good atmosphere and great service…

Worst dining experience ever! Filthiest restaurant I have ever been to in my life! The carpet was very heavily stained and soiled with grease and remnants of previous food spills throughout, as well as being littered with various paper products, such as papers that straws are encased in and shreddings from napkins, etc. Also, the carpet itself looked to be very old. I am guessing the carpet must be the same carpet that was originally put down whenever the restaurant first opened. It not, I am guessing it is at least thirty years old, as it was very thinned out and tattered to the point that you could almost see the flooring underneath in some areas. This alone should have been our cue to leave and not sit down (for the physical condition of this place was indeed an excellent indicator of the food quality and the service we could expect), but alas, we didn’t. We sat down to eat and I blame myself for this. I should have known better. I won’t bore you with the details of all the things wrong with the service and the poor food quality, but suffice it to say it was terrible. Every member in our party had one or more issues with the food quality and the service. Needless to say, don’t eat at this IHOP. I don’t know if I will ever eat at an IHOP ever again in my life (probably not), but rest assured - I will never eat at this IHOP ever again. And if you are smart, you will avoid this place too - like the plague. I would not be surprised at all if they have serious issues with cockroaches and mice. Disgusting! Absolutely disgusting!

This is the best Longhorn branch I've ever been in. They're extremely accommodating and very welcoming. The manager made our time there very pleasant and did everything she could to make my family have the best experience. The food was incredibly delicious too! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite go to places for breakfast or dinner. I went there this evening for dinner.
Haven’t been in awhile until today, but I will tell you the service is amazing and the food is delicious. Management has really taken care of that store and I can’t wait to get back there.

The experience was very bad. There was 3 of us and the food and service was truly amazing. The bad of this review is that a fly went into our friends food and we gave it back to them and in front of us they took a spoon and took it out and tried to give the food back . They informed us that’s what the manager tells them to do that. The food we ate before this happened was amazing and the staff and cook is friendly and know how to do their job. Just poor management ways.

Coming to the front and viewing the torn decorations made me very excited at how clean and neat the interior would be... or maybe not... 🥶🥶🥶When stepping inside you will be met with a chill. 👍👍👍The food was very prompt and tasty. The service was stabdard.

What a fun waitress. Tiny place, not clean at all. Typical breakfast place. More on the fast food side. The waffles? They were awesome!!

The food was great with a side of fried okra, yummy. I did some early holiday shopping on my way out of the door. Great service and hospitality.

The maple bacon smothered chicken breast are my new favorite. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The air was chilly, so my food got cold fast. The wooden chairs need replaced. They are very uncomfortable.

Everyone here was super sweet and kind. Think southern hospitality culture.

First time dining here. It was delicious. KeShaun ( I am probably butchering the spelling of his name! I'm so sorry )server was great, he knew the menu inside and out. Gave recommendations. His personality was awesome. His really made the dining experience fun. We will definitely be back.

The staff was attentive and friendly, food was delicious the waffles smelled amazing and tasted just as good 😊 the daughter mom duo are great(sorry didn't catch their names) we'd definitely come here again whenever we are in the area👍🏼

10:00pm, Thursday 6/8/23. Wasn’t busy when we got there, but it was when we left. Looked clean. Good food. Good service. Good prices. Cook & waitress were so pleasant and cordial. Made me fresh decaf coffee and special order requests. Ordered 2-scrambled eggs (well done/golden brown), dry toast (no butter), grits (didn’t think to request without butter, so I added extra mustard) and a side of sausage (I cut up and added to my grits). Everything was DELICIOUS! It was so nice to sit at the bar for a few minutes and watch someone else cook and move so efficiently with multiple burners going at the same time.

I love this place so much!!! From the servers, to the bar tenders (especially Taylor!) To the management team; they are ALL top notch! The care and attentiveness they put in to their customers is something you just don't see anymore. I have met both Titus and Cesar; both are amazing and so loyal to their customers. I cannot say enough good things about this place!!!

Called on Sat to reserve for party of 15. I was informed they don’t make reservations but I could call Sun, to get a spot held for all of us, to let them know a time and they would be able to seat us. Called Sun and informed they could only do parties of 8 since it was Mothers Day. So we booked for 2 parties of 8. Upon checking in they had us scheduled for 2 parties of 15. We got them to understand that it was just 1 party of 15. We still waited an hour and half to get seated. We got 2 long tables, one for 7, and one for 8 people. There was not enough room for 8 people to eat with a plate 2 side and a drink. We asked to add a small table and was told no. Two of our party of 8 left since they were not going to eat with no elbow room. There was hardly enough room for 6 adults at the table. Since we down sized from 2 parties of 15 to 1 party of 15 there should not have been a problem adding another small table. As we walked out there was a table of 16 all sitting together with multiple tables and booths empty during our stay. An 8 oz Sirloin was about 3x3” from 1/4” to 3/4” thick. There is no way that was a half a pound steak. When compared to the 6 oz it was smaller and less thick. The Margaritas needed more alcohol in them. All you could taste was the mixers. Can definitely tell this is a chain restaurant that is willing to sacrifice quality experience over quantity. Being a small business owner in the agriculture/food service business I was appalled at the management of resources or lack of concern for the customer. Not that it matters to the restaurant but there are 15 people who will never visit the Harrisonburg location again. Contemplating any of the chain again since quantity out weighs quality. Surely glad I do not run my business in this manner or I would not be in business long. Hunter,the waiter, was the best part of the experience.

We visited longhorn this weekend on our trip to pennsylvania, the service from the beginning was great our waitress was very kind and helpful i unfortunately didn't get her name to mention her but she was great. We got the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, we almost ordered a second round they were so good. I had gotten the renegade sirloin with the haddock shrimp, steakhouse mac, and a side salad, but forgot to take a picture, the steak was very yummy and cooked just the way i wanted, the only thing i would change next time is add a little extra steak seasoning to my steak but it was still very good!! hubby got the half rack, with the steakhouse mac, and side salad and really enjoyed his as well. We usually don't do desserts but with it being my birthday we had too!! The molten lava cake was made beautifully and tasted delicious!! We will definitely come again for dinner when visiting (:

Waffle house gets a bad rap from time to time over the years but when you walk in one and it looks this bad, Joe Rogers, Senior, and Joe Rogers, Junior would never allow this. What happen to cleanliness? Food prepared the correct way and presented so that it looks appetizing? The place was a mess! What happened to the pride?

Terrible experience! We got seated at 11:25 a.m. but did not get served until 12:15 p.m. -- yes, 50 minutes for Cracker Barrel! The manager came over once and didn't apologize, but instead offered some excuse about the order going to the wrong side and that the kitchen was backed up, he then added that there were others who were still waiting ahead of us -- basically, he stood around and watched patrons eat (or rather, wait on their meals) and did nothing to fix the backlog. When the order came, three of the meals were correct, but mine, of course, was wrong -- I ordered two eggs, over medium, but they were fried so hard that the DOT could have used them to fill a pothole! Come on Cracker Barrel in Harrisonburg, step up your game, or move on!

I love the bread / biscuit to start off — it’s flavor is different to what I’ve had.
Cracker Barrel has quite a few options when it comes to steak and meat but I love how they are unique in their own way of adding 3 sides. I love having the hash brown casserole as a side option, possibly the only restaurant I’ve been to that offers that. Everything was delicious — fresh steak, fresh broccoli, well seasoned mash potatoes and fries.

Service to get us a table was fast. But the food time to get to the table was a little slow due to the inclement weather, I believe.

The other times that I’ve came here, I’ve received good service and great food.

My previous review was great, but going today, I was a bit disappointed. Still gave 4 stars because I feel it was just an off day. We waited for our cocktail drinks, but even water didn't come out until our salads were done. We had to ask a hostess, who walked by, for our drinks. We didn't get plates for our bread. The loaded baked potato was t even close to loaded. Barely cheese, sour cream and butter...on all 3 potatoes in our party. The 12 oz beer on the menu said 2.99 but we were charged 4.99. No sense in taking time to question a different bucks. The server was very friendly, but seemed new at waiting tables. It won't prevent me from coming back. The ribs and steaks are very good, and the restaurant has great ambiance and is clean.

Service sucks. Lazy staff will not clear tables to serve anyone. Cooks don't even have orders because the waitstaff has over half the tables full of dirty dishes

Food is pretty good and the service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. A lot of tourists passing through the area stop here. Pretty good for the money. Sometimes there can be a but of a wait for your table so there is a neat little store you can browse the you wait--or better yet catch a rest in a rocking chair out front.
