I love this place, but don’t get the HiFi chicken sandwich. Might be one of the dumbest sandwiches I’ve ever ordered. It’s 6 basic chicken tenders with a little bit of coleslaw and a tiny order of fries. You pick up the sandwich and everything falls out. It’s like it was designed by someone who’s never eaten a sandwich before.. Anyway, still really like this place, but figured I’d warn anyone else that might want to try something new here.

This place is the best!!! The food is delicious, the portions are huge, the space is so nice, and the workers are awesome. Great cocktails, delicious teas and lemonades made in house. Urban belly is one of my wicker park favorites.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here!

The ramen broth was a little too sweet for my taste, but the phat style udon was phenomenal- I was concerned about pineapples as they are not my favorite toppings in a savory food, but it was diced into small pieces and went really nicely with the dish. Their kimchi tasted really good too.

I ordered delivery this time but I would love to visit in person as well.

Wow, the spicy katsu ramen was incredible. Loved the hot chicken bao buns as well. My wife got the lemongrass udon noodles and loved her dish. Incredibly friendly and kind service. Easy to order from QR code on table and is brought to your table. $3 PBR on draft, can’t beat it! We will be back!
Lovely people. I will definitely be visiting more often. First time here. Good was delicious and the price was great. Thank you.

No fuss byo style food. The fusion is on point and delicious. I got the salad which had a bit of everything, bbq dumplings and a $3 pint. No complaints at all, no reservations required.
The ideal 24/7 diner, with a laminated menu the size of a novel, and enough pictures to help along the way. This menu has everything. No really. Breakfast, more breakfast, more breakfast again, a full Mexican menu, a taste of Italy menu, sandwiches, burgers, and more diner classics. If you’re here at 3 in the morning like I was, this is exactly what you want. Our waitress was fantastic, friendly, and helpful. Our food was prepared quickly, was delicious, and the portions were so large that we all took plenty home. Whatever you’re craving, this place has it.

Fantastic modern Jewish deli.
Food was VERY good and the staff was very nice (if a little busy).
The knishes were just right and the latkes tasted like they should.
The brisket sandwich was tasty, but needed some acid or sauce.....
Will return and sign Eleven City's praises .

Oh and the draft root beer is very anise-y, but good
The food was great and the service was even better. Kiki, the owner was so sweet!

Visited IHOP for brunch. The service was a bit slow, and my order wasn't exactly as requested, but the food tasted decent overall.

The atmosphere was lively, but it could have been cleaner. It's an okay option for a quick breakfast, but there's room for improvement. It’s iHop… you get what you get 😊
Came in with my girlfriend on a Saturday for the first time before going to work. I had the skirt steak and eggs while she had a veggie skillet. The steak was amazing. Very flavorful and on point. My girlfriend was impressed with her skillet. The veggies were fresh. Not over cooked, and full of flavor. Definitely coming back for more. Highly recommended.
Good food, great donuts. Staff is remarkably friendly. You gotta at least check out their massive Alaska donut if you're in the area.
Haven't been here in decades, but not much has changed. A diverse menu with lots of choices. The food and service is good. The atmosphere is simple. Overall, a satisfying dining experience.
Online says opened 24/7 but they’re clearly not updated. For how advanced technology is and how fast this simple change can be made I don’t see why it just can’t be made. Drove all the way to the restaurant to only see them being closed.

We were visiting Chicago (Michigan Ave) and looking for something near the hotel and activities we had planned and Eleven City Diner popped up as an option...with picky kids you try to find something with plenty of good options. The food was amazing and the huge portions left us full with some leftovers for the kids for later. The staff was so welcoming and friendly right from the moment you walked in the door. When we visit Chicago again, Eleven City Diner will be on our list of must visits and we will gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun place with great food!
It's what to expect great 24 hour diner been coming here since I was a kid and the head cook is great and the food is always on point. Chicken and waffles the slots player breakfasts burgers, crepes, and omelets are great. Service is always above standard would recommend for the whole family and even just coffee and light fare.

Came for lunch while at a conference. Our server Johnathan was AMAZING. He was efficient, professional, personable and genuine. Decent amount of options for both breakfast and lunch and creative drink menu. Food was good, seasoning on the fries was even better. Prices seemed a little high but worth it. I hope the ownership sees this and gives kudos to our waiter, he was a cool dude.

From the moment you walk in the door they create an experience that makes you want to come back again and again. Warning: come in with an empty stomach because the portions are HUGE. You definitely get a bang for your buck. The staff are very kind and the fun vibes, decor, and music bring you back in time!

Sorry I can’t give this place more stars. The lady who greeted us was full of personality and welcoming, after that our service went down hill. Just lots of waiting - never received our hot sauce and our drinks were never refilled. We felt like an after thought.

The food is really good, fresh, and big portions.
Got the Oreo pancakes and had a taste of some bacon from my fathers meal….
Both were delightful.
Only complaint is the booth is a little bit small
Way better than the other spot. Make sure to go on a Tuesday in the afternoon.

I went to a convention for magic the gathering with buddies of mine. One my friend knows the owner and they hooked us up with an amazing breakfast. This diner style restaurant is one my favorite place to eat in downtown Chicago now. Please give it a try and I know you will love the atmosphere and the heart meal.
Everything was good. Been there more than once

Had a beautiful brunch at Eleven City Diner! Busy place, but a relatively short wait for a table. Amazing challah bread 10/10 we ordered a whole load to go from their in-restaurant store. Fun, friendly and happy staff.
Had a small mix up with our order and overall odd way of interpreting our minor menu substitution (hence the 4/5 star). But overall a welcoming and family friendly vibe. Fun atmosphere, perhaps on the louder side for some, but was very typical of a busy diner.
Nice variety of the menu, fair pricing, a little more $$ for a brunch compared to a typical diner however nothing outrageous.

Nice little spot to grab breakfast around Midway. Food was hot and came out fast. Donuts looked good, but we didn’t try any. Place is open 24/7z In my opinion, it’s better than the options that they have inside of Midway.
Fanatic diner experience, just about everything I was expecting from a place like this. Fast service, extensive menu, reasonable prices, and good proportions.

They are open 24hrs and even when we went at 5am there was a solid crowd.

There is a small parking lot out back, but spaces are very limited.

It's IHOP. The food is predictably good. Clean, but ceiling oddly stained and floors well-scuffed. My meal had chips of ceramic something on the plate ! Server took it back and comped our check.

I have been to so many of these types of restaurants in Chicago I would consider myself a little bit of an expert.

It's everything that you would want out of this type of place and more: great food, lovely service, great vibes.

They gave really good grits! ❤️❤️❤️

The sausage omelette was perfect.
The pancakes (they're called wheatcakes here) were delicious and fluffy. Best pancakes I've had in a while. I had a stack of three with bacon and sausage. So filling and yummy!

Staff were lovely too, such genuine and amazing people

This Ihop used to be my favorite. Now, it is barely standing. Food was cold and burned, and everything that was fried tasted like old oil. I know, I've been in the restaurant business for a long time. Restaurant was dirty, the bathroom was disgusting, and the service was mediocre. With only 2 tables in the whole restaurant, our food was sitting in the window for about 25 min. We didn't have anything to drink because the server never asked or gave us a chance to ask for water or a second round of beverages. Yes I still tipped, but not because service was great.

Loved my eggs! (Benedict with spinach) And the crepe we choose the one with cinnamon in it, it was wow! And also French toast with ricotta cheese and blubbery was also amazing (both were shared as Adelbert on the table) the waiter was so friendly and attentive, he gestured to fake a photo of us when he saw us trying to take one and I was surprised he was alone and managed so professionally with everyone without any delays.

For classic Jewish diner food in Chicago this place is pretty solid. For classic Jewish diner food in general, Eleven City Diner is alright but I’ve obviously had much better (in New York).

Prices were high and the atmosphere was very touristy. Not a laid back or homey vibe, but regardless the interiors were well done. Although they hyped up their Bloody Mary it tasted pretty average to me, not overly rich or flavorful (not bad though). Matzo Ball soup was good. I could have ordered just the soup, the Matzo Ball was huge and broth had great flavor. Corned Beef sandwich was fine, but that’s it. Could’ve used some more meat for the price. Nothing that blew my socks off, but it was a good sandwich.

Overall, if you miss East Coast diner food and you’re willing to shell out some cash, this place will suit you fine.

I like this place.
I ordered a pork dish and it was perfectly cooked, not dry, and not too salty. My partner ordered a Chicken breast which was also delicious. The server was very helpful and welcoming. I will be coming back!

I had the ropa vieja and it was pretty good. First time trying the dish so I don't have a basis for comparison, but the meat was juicy and tender. The dish also came with a side of tostones, rice, and beans which were all good. Some of the friends I was with got other dishes and found the meat to be dry. The portion sizes also aren't very large relative to the price. Overall a pretty decent spot.

My boyfriend and I made reservations for the 24 of December as soon as we saw that there was a Noche Buena plate on the menu. The main reason we chose Cuba312 was because of that dish, it would remind us of home and our Cuban family.
From the moment we entered the building it was clear the the only female server in the building was frustrated and unwelcoming. She shouted at us which tables were available to sit at after she realized we had reservations. After sitting down, with no menus or QR code to scan, she cleaned the table next to ours. She then realized we did not have a QR code to scan the menu gave it to us. We placed our order the croquetas, yuca frita, empanadas and 2 plates of the noche buena meal. At 7 pm the main dish for Christmas Eve, the main reason that we chose this restaurant, was sold out along with the croquetas. By this point, we just wanted to make the best of it but the energy was so strange and unwelcoming.
From there I ordered the El Padrino. I don't know how to explain the excessive amount of oil that created a rainbow in my oil based sauce for the steak. It was very off putting and disappointing.
So, I snagged some takeout from Urbanbelly, and let me tell you, it's the real deal! The place has this cool vibe, and the food? Absolutely delicious. Plus, it's all about Asian fusion, adding that extra flair to every bite. If you're up for some seriously tasty eats with a laid-back vibe, Urbanbelly's the spot.
This place is...fine, really. Surprisingly busy for 10 pm, actually. Waitresses are friendly and sweet, very old-school diner feel. Food is pretty good, about what you'd expect from a 24-hour joint. Soup was great, gotta love a place that can do simple things well. Same for the pancakes, big and fluffy. The omelet...I dunno if I would call it an omelet. More like a scramble with a metric ton of ham and cheese. Very tasty, but I admit, not what I was expecting. The menu is huge, the Mexican items seem to be the most popular. I think I'll try them next time. My only real complaint is that the place seems understaffed. It took way too long to get my food and then the check afterward. Again, staff was cherry-bright and happy. But my guess is that the tipping, on average, isn't that great, so servers will take as many tables as they can at one time. If you've got ninety minutes to spare, it's not a bad visit, I was just hoping to be out in 40 or so, to go visit some friends. Overall, good meal.

This restaurant has the worst service, and their dishes are old. Their employees are very rude, their food portions are small, it is not a nice place, everything looks old and dirty. I much prefer Huck Finn Restaurant in Oak Lawn
Visited at 2 AM which may have factored into my bad experience. Waitress forgot my coffee at least three times - ended up waiting maybe 10 minutes before getting coffee. Took a while to get food, felt like maybe 20-30 minutes. Food tasted bland and did not seem to be seasoned. Was not happy with the country fried steak - it was very chewy and thin. Difficult parking, especially if a truck has parked in the parking spot. I was nearly blocked in by a truck that had parked next to me
The Sunshine Restaurant sits on a busy corner but its location is not a reflection of this breakfast spot. Once you walk it, you feel like you have gone back in time to a classic diner. Simple, yet elegant. The dishes are all the classic breakfast meals (including a lunch menu on the back). We had the Country Skillet and Mexican Skillet. Both of which were amazing!
This was our time coming here and it will not be our last. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great people.
When you walk in you immediately feel that someone loves this place very much. Everything is clean, well ordered, and clearly cared for.

The griddle, which is where most of the food is made, is right in the front of the 10 seat counter's swivel seats.

Service was quick but unhurried. The waitress clearly knew many of the patrons as she asked after what had happened since they were in last.

Food was amazing. The skillet was tasty and the coffee better than most.

I can't believe I've never been to this place. I can't wait to come back.

Came here on a Sunday around noon and it was pretty empty. I got the coconut curry pho which actually tasted really good, however not super sure if it is anything close to pho more than the fact that it’s noodles in soup. My friend got some beer chicken dish and said it was alright. The food came out really quickly, would say it’s a pretty good spot to grab a quick bite.

My family and I stopped by this Gem! My family from out of town loved this place! The cinnamon roll french toast are DELICIOUS! The donuts are homemade and excellent! The skillets were very filling! Pancakes mouthwatering fluffy 😋!
Great place for a delicious breakfast! I got the Corned Beef Omelet. So very yummy. Server kept my coffee warmed up. Very relaxing atmosphere to have a delicious breakfast! Next time I’m in the area for business, guess where I’m having breakfast? Top View Restaurant!!
I visited the location this afternoon and was accompanied by my grandkids. It was nothing to brag about because I could've prepared my breakfast at home and enjoyed it. The bacon 🥓 was really fatty and jiggly. The eggs were scrambled entirely too hard, and the English muffin arrived at the table and wasn't warm enough to melt the butter. 🧈 Never again 😒 The meals are overpriced, and food quality is poor.

The food is 5 stars, the drinks were lacking. We got a few cocktails and could barely tell the difference as they were mainly mixes of the same juices. We didn’t get a mojito and probably should have, so this is partially on us.

Croquettes were tasty, crisp outside, soft center. We got the steak and pork entrees. Both were amazing. We requested the steak rare and it was cooked perfectly.

The service was okay. Everyone was friendly but seemed short staffed and it took awhile to get attention towards the end of the meal when we wanted to close out.

Will be back to try more items and be more selective on drink orders.

A nice local Cuban restaurant!
I ordered the rabo encendido, and it was incredibly tender and filling. The croquetas were also delicious.
They also gave us some complimentary empanadas that were some of the best we’d had.
Top View Dinner has been my go-to breakfast haven for years, and it never disappoints! Whenever the craving for a delicious breakfast strikes, this place is my first choice. There's something comforting about walking into a restaurant that feels like a second home, and Top View Dinner achieves just that. The staff here has always welcomed me with warm smiles and friendly service, which makes every visit memorable. Let's talk about the breakfast – it's the stuff of legends! From classic favorites to unique specialties, the menu caters to every breakfast whim. Whether I'm in the mood for fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, or a mouthwatering omelette, they've got it all, and it's consistently excellent. Breakfast Club Number 6. This hearty breakfast platter was a feast for the senses. The two sunnyside up eggs were cooked to perfection, with yolks that oozed deliciously onto the plate. The two links of sausage were flavorful and savory, adding a delightful burst of spice to every bite. The bacon was crispy and indulgent, just as bacon should be. And the waffle? It was a golden, fluffy masterpiece that was both sweet and satisfying. The fact that I keep coming back year after year speaks volumes about the quality and consistency this place offers. It's more than a restaurant; it's a tradition. If you're a breakfast enthusiast like me, you owe it to yourself to pay a visit to Top View Dinner. Whether you're a first-timer or a long-time patron, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere, great service, and a breakfast selection that hits all the right notes.

I'm looking at many good reviews and have never been there. I decided to give it a try. Pam was amazing and constantly stopping by. Everything was going well until a baby Cucorouch made its appearance on the table. I was not able to enjoy my food anymore. As we paid, I took the napkin and showed it to the older lady where we paid. Sadly, she didn't look surprised, but it was interesting that she was referring it to an Ant and that they had just spayed outside to kill the Ants. I immediately corrected her and asked her to look again as it was definitely not Ant but a Cucorouch. She did apologize. As we got outside, I shaked my purse, closed. Never again to this place.

Service was good. Food IMO not so good. Very greasy. At times the chucked had a nice crunch but for the most part it was soft possibly because it was so oily. No real flavor not even on the spicy chicken sandwich which had fresh jalapeños, I didn’t even get flavor from that. The spaghetti has a bit of sweetness. The mashed potatoes lacked flavor with bland gravy. Fries are thin like McDonald’s but soft due to saturation of oil. The pineapple drink was good. Peach mango pie -flaky but OILY and runny! I didn’t see chunks of fruit in the pie, it was more like a thin fruit jelly. Went on a Sunday before 2:3pm and it was super packed. Lots a families, clean inside, very cold. About a 20 minute wait for food.
First time stopping here. Food and service was great. Our waitress was nice. Food came out quick and food was well seasoned with big portions. The three stars is when we had to check out, and the lady at the counter was very rude. I tried to use my debit card and the machine was so sensitive that I accidentally pressed the wrong button which we had to redo the transaction. Second time we go through the transaction she yells “so you aren’t gonna leave a tip?” Not knowing I had already left a cash tip. The lady next to her was rude to another customer asking him rudely to wait in the lobby making frantic hand motions. Literally if these two ladies are gonna be rude I’m not gonna come back. Relax! I went there 8/26 around 12 pm

Odd entry into service area. Sugar and creamer packets are annoying. Eggs were good. Pancakes fell apart. Bottomless coffee cools off in decanter. Ask for extra butter as seen in the pancakes picture.

Cute place that has some old 90s diner vibes. Apparently they were Silver Platter winners from ‘94-04. Husband liked their Rueben (and he’s super picky about them).
French Toast meal was good, made fresh, real eggs.
Despite the place looking closed from the outside it has some solid food. With free parking on the side.
The BEST skillets we’ve had. There are a lot on the menu so it can be overwhelming, but the waitress was so good about going over it with us.

So glad we stopped here before heading out.
We've been dining here for some time now. It's a friendly, cozy, and affordable neighborhood restaurant. The portion size is large, and their food is always made to order. It's fresh and delicious! They upgraded their dining area a little while back, and I saw some new faces in there as far as wait staff goes. Even through their changes, the environment, quality of service, and food remain top tier.
See you guys soon.

If you are going to order take away, make sure to check if the items are received is correct before you leave this branch. We drove 1 hr + and when I got home, my 2pcs. Chicken is just a piece! Aside from that, the quality of the chicken isn't the same as the original chicken joy! The breading is just different in taste and texture. I didn't finish my food. My first experience was bad I had to try this time to give it a chance but this is what I got. So nevermind, not going to eat in Jollibee here in the US.

Small diner that packs a lot of punch. We pulled up and I knew it would be EVERYTHING I wanted after a long night. Affordable, plenty of menu options, quick and friendly service. No wait on a Sunday at 11am for a table for 4. We were greeted and treated so kindly. I had the BLT which was good, everyone enjoyed their burgers, but what everyone wished they would have ordered was the French toast. It looks like giant cinnamon rolls and tastes delicious. The portions are generous and I truly loved everything about the place. Decent amount of seating, parking is a bit slim. It gets slightly hectic as the diner sits off a busy road. Anyway, wow do stop by. If I lived around here someone would have to stop me from coming every weekend. Highly recommend. Overall immaculate family vibe.

Great food, great service, great price. Stopped in on a whim and it was a perfect no-frills meal. It was a classic diner atmosphere, with food that is what you'd expect for such a place with friendly staff, fast service, and a good price. These sorts of diners are getting harder to find, and if this is your vibe, you'll love it.

Ordered at 8:22pm got my order 25minutes later even though it was not busy. We literally just ordered 3 things and saw 4 other customers that was behind me with big orders got taken care off first. Chicken was dry and over breaded. Burger steak was okay. Staff had no apology, refund or whatsoever. Service is usually good but its inconsistent.
Lovely family restaurant with a parking lot. Came with my mom for brunch one Saturday, was able to get a booth without a wait. Had a yummy vegan skillet (veggie skillet with no eggs or cheese), coffee and toast. My mom said her eggs, grits and sausage was good too. Everyone is really friendly and make you feel like a regular 💕

From the outside, this place is not impressive, but when you walk inside, it’s spotlessly clean and well taken care of.

I tried an gyro skillet with pancakes ($14.00), which were both delicious. Bottomless coffee ($3.00) was good . Service was excellent. Highly recommend for a diner breakfast that’s not fancy, but very tasty and reasonably priced.

I live way far out south and this is my go to spot, everytime I head back to the city. The service is great aswell as the ambience. The steak sandwiches are always on point, and the best part is the papitas frita inside it. Never a disappointment. Today I dined in and had a steak sandwich and Cafe con leche. ☺️🥰

This location is smaller than most locations....which I thought was great cause less traffic. The food was great and it felt really intimate.

Fantastic food, and great service. Awesome coffee, too. All at an affordable price.

The jibaritos are fantastic-- crispy, and delicious. The white, garlicky sauce is amazing on everything. Their hot-sauce was a bit too vinegar-forward for me, but combined with the white sauce was pretty pleasant.

All in all, would recommend and will be frequenting this spot!

I love the Korean Asian fusion. We had to try the curry pho which is really good. It tasted even better with rice since the soup is thicker and stronger taste it went well with rice too. We also ordered the spicy Korean rice cake soup which has flat Korean rice cakes and was spicy but I enjoyed it alot too. The Mango was a shock and somehow I didn't expect it but enjoyable non the less. It was very spicy but thank God we had the rice. Over all I enjoyed the meal. The restaurant gave a cafeteria vibe and it was very casual and great for group setting. I highly suggest trying them both.

Huge group in at the time we went of around 30 but the experience of the staff showed and our service and food were both rapid. Some of the tastiest scrambled eggs I have ever tried.

Drove by this place one day by accident and made a note to come back. Glad I did. Some of the best food I've ever had and the decor was warming. A great view of the neighborhood and beautiful art inside. Jackie was fun and a great server. Please try the guava and cheese empanada and the fried rice!

We absolutely loved the food here! We found it by accident but cant wait to come back. It's small and cozy. We ordered empanadas of 3 different kinds with black rice. A coffee with milk (cafe con Leche), a mango smoothie and I think an order of ropa vieja. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor!
The presentation is fun and colorful, there is plenty of seating inside music playing in the background. this is a family oriented restaurant i came with a party of 5 but I would come here with friends. the service is great the waitress and waiter work together and they do a great job. we were seated right away i think you can sit anywhere you'd like. our order was taken right away as far as drink she brought them right away. we looked at the menu and ordered Ropa vieja sandwiches (so good) I paired it with the green garlic sauce they have and it just intensified the flavor the sandwich is in my opinion large for a reg. I was full with half.. We ordered a papa rellena for our 1 year old he loved it chicken tenders for the girls it comes with fries. we also ordered Arroz Amarillo it was so good and a hint of butter which we loved. tons of left overs the prices you can't beat I was suprised we didn't pay more. this restaurant is kid friend they offer high chairs for young kids.
I loved it the food is delicious and that garlic green sauce must emphasize how good it was it takes your food to the next level.

9/2021 Interesting Greek restaurant. Food was pretty good. Not outstanding, but pretty good. Service was ok. Nothing special to say about them here. Menu is typical. Had breakfast with our party and they all enjoyed it. Pretty old and din gee. Few people in the restaurant when we were there. And we were there for over 2 hours. I would go back. But not my first choice. It is convenient next to the hospital though.
Food is decent and delicious. Coffee needs work.
Service is great, the wait staff are super sweet and amazing.

And for the pretty brunette waitress who served us, I'm sorry I drowned the sunny side up eggs and diced potatoes with syrup....
I was being facetious to my mom. I wanted to mess with her.... 🤤🤭😅🤣
Thank you for serving us though!

Solid neighborhood diner.

Service was fantastic. Food was reasonably priced and delicious.

Small counter in the back facing the kitchen if you don't like booths.

We had Absolutely Amazing Experience at Hilltop. Warm welcoming staff, positive ambiance with mouthwatering food. Well cleaned and maintained place. We had Chicken Soup, French Toast Combo and Chicken Sandwich. Everything was delicious. Quantity and Quality both are perfect. Lady serving the food is helpful and courteous. She was happy to help us to choose what we want and recommended several items as well.

The owner Hernen was on the register and he welcomed us and was happy to serve us. I am definitely coming back next week!

Good Luck Guys!
