Top Family restaurants in Versailles, France

This was my favorite meal on my trip to France. Great, simple, classic food that is priced well. A cute and eclectic atmosphere. And the sweetest servers/owners who are so patient with our lack of French skills. And the crème brûlée is next level. It’s situated in the cutest area too. 10/10 go here!

I waited for my order for 40 mins. Don’t waste your time here.

Ein gemütliches, kleines Restaurant mit einer guten Auswahl an Speisen, die sehr lecker geschmeckt haben.
Zusätzlich zu der Karte gibt es noch eine Mittagstisch -Karte mit wechselnden Gerichten.
Egal was wir bestellt hatten, es war alles sehr lecker.

Fantastic burger and fries. We are from
Vancouver, Canada and know a good burger. This is definitely a solid choice.

Avoid to eat here.
We were just looking for a place where to eat the confit de canard.
From outside the place looked pretty good and inviting, the staff was very friendly.
Once inside we sit, there were few flies on the nearest table…
The place looked a bit dirty but we decided to stay nonetheless…
Ordered a soupe à l’onions gratiné (onion soup gratin) with no taste and no gratin…
Then the confit de canard (duck cooked in fat) very hard with a weird sauce on top, something like pesto (?)…
Roasted Potatoes that came with the duck were hard and half fried or something…
Drinks: Cola seemed sealed but with no bubbles…
Seemed like a tourist trap…

Sadly, a tourist trap…I rarely give bad reviews like that but I have to…
The staff was friendly but the food was terrible…The “soupe à l’onion gratinée”, was not gratinée as you can see on the picture. This dish is supposed to be very tasty but it was clearly bad quality cheese, the soup had very little taste. The we had the “confit de canard” which is supposed to be tender and juicy. The meat was so dry and hard, and they put some pesto in top…!
The potatoes were like the frozen ones you buy at the supermarket…! Such a shame…

My coca cola arrived already opened with no bubbles…!

The seats were dirty, and there were lots of small flies inside the restaurant…

The food is simple and good. I think it's a suitable restaurant for someone who is looking for a healthy meal or maybe is on a diet. We got cooked salmon, rice and beans which were not cooked in a sophisticated way. Rice and beans didn't have extra butter, salmon wasn't spiced.
My beef steak was medium just as I asked, the banana chocolate tart was great and the texture new to me.
Service was a bit slow but staff is kind.
The location is in a cute, cozy area with other restaurants around.
I found it to be a little far from the palace exit after walking around the gardens, park and inside of the palace all day.

I put only 1 stars because I cant put 0, really unprofessional, we are tourist and the monitor with the calling number wasnt on, so for us was really difficoult to understand our order. Merde

Friendly and amazing staff. They served us the cheese poppers and burger 🍔 quickly and we're very politely. They helped us order in the kiosk since we wanted to pay via our international ATM cards. They have electrical sockets to charge mobile on 1st floor. No chaos like KFC and very clean place.

Great drinks, and food was good as well! We went twice while staying in Versailles. The servers were so kind and helpful. We would highly recommend!

This idiots made me take a plastic number to my table for no reason making me think they were going to bring my food! So after like 30 waiting I had to go down and ask for my food and why they havent brought it? So the employee just laughed at me and told me this is not a 5 star restaurant!

Food was good but watch your bill. Came out with extra items then they took €33 off the total. Made it hard to check. Took ages to bring the bill, so when they finally came you just want to get out of there.

Offered two courses for €18.90, or the main was €16.90 on its own. Ordered 2 mains, 2 deserts was charged €18.90 for the main, and €7-10 for the deserts. And they added a desert we never had to the bill.

It was sooooo good! Honestly one of the best burgers of my life! 😆❣️ The staff were super friendly too!!! 😊

Nobody to attend customers eating outside (including cleaning the tables) had to clean it myself; the two burgers that were ordered took too long to get assembled (estimated 15-20 min, took considerably longer than that), the well done burger was partially raw, the other one tasted off, the host apologised but that’s about it - neither plates could be finished. On the other side, I enjoyed the bio blond beer. Hope that this feedback will help everyone, including the business owner(s). Thanks for reading and stay safe!

The rudest staff in all of Versailles. I asked for a coffee and a starter but the owner refused to take any order other than main course. The restaurant was empty and yet chose to have such behaviour.

Great food, superfriendly staff, and a cosy atmosphere!!

Bought the Picanha steak, was cooked to perfection. The sides were not great and could have included beans to compliment this Brazilian steak but the steak was amazing! Staff was also quick and helpful

It started with the service which was unfortunately non existant and the food wasnt very good either. Burger buns were dry and the overall flavour below average. Especially for that price, not acceptable.

Awesome food, very nice people and great atmosphere. The boss gets his ingrediënts fresh at the daily market before determining the menus of the day.

Servers went out of their way to accommodate my baby (they have one of those adapters that transform any chair into a high chair) and even helped distract her when she started to cry for a change of scenery. The food was amazing and I am pretty sure I had one of the best chocolate cakes of my life.

The staff at the counter refused to give my friend a drink (soda), which was included in the combo he ordered. €20 for a burger and chips and NO drink, it was such a scam. We should have gone to kfc instead.

The manager came in, and yelled at her staff in front of the customers. She said " go close the door of the fridge, it's been left open all day long " . Who knows if they maintained the cold chain in that restaurant.

Very unprofessional. I mean if you have to tell your staff off, do it privately. Don't make a fuss in front of the world.

It pains me to give them one star. They didn't deserve any stars.

The Ceaser Salad was surprisingly good. Many Vegetarian Options. They have interesting choices for ice cream.

My kids loved their burgers and fries. I got the Le Poulette and it was amazing! The curry sauce on this burger is delicious!

You can make any burger vegetarian.

The place is clean and prices good for the area. The service was friendly and efficient.

We read great reviews about this place so we had to check it out. We were so happy to choose this restaurant because we had a great time. The food was so nice and tasty and the service also.

Great choice of vegetarian burgers. The Veggie Whopper tasted just like a normal one, we thought they made a mistake and gave us a regular one.
The fries ate so much better than in other fast food chains.
King of the month meal available for 5 €, which is great value.
The have reusable cups, which is very progressive. We loved that our meal did not produce a lot of plastic garbage.
Way to go Burger King for vegetarians and sustainibility compared to others.

As an American visiting Versailles, I obviously was a little skeptical about a French burger joint, but boy was this place a nice surprise! Everything was delicious from the burgers to the chicken to the fries and even the desserts! I will be back for sure.

Came in to grab some dinner before heading back to the train station after visiting Versailles. Our server was really nice, a bit busy because he was handling a group right next to us but despite being busy he gave us a few good recommendations. Because it was busy it was also kind of loud and hard to hear but nobody could really help that.
We started out with a few cocktails and then the Fois Gras de Canard Maison - a homemade fois gras with a fig jam. I personally like fois gras and enjoyed this board because it and the fig jam were well-made and I liked that it was served with simple toast, but one of the people in my group didn't like it very much. Basically this is just a heads-up that fois gras can be an acquired taste.
For main courses we had the Chicken Burger, the Le Ducis Burger, and the Entrecote Grillee which was the rib steak and the fries. I had the Ducis Burger and it was ok, it was nothing special. The rib steak on the other hand was really good - it was well-cooked and juicy. The chicken burger was good as well, the chicken not too dry.
Myself and my group enjoyed this restaurant, the food was good and the service was nice as well.

this place was amazing!! the food came super quick (within a matter of minutes) and it was unbelievably delicious. i got the mushroom burger and loved it so much. the fries were also delicious. this is a great place to stop by after visiting the palace of versailles!

Stopped in here on a whim for a glass of wine after a long day at Versailles and immediately knew I needed to try the burger. Fluffy bun that’s perfect for the quality smashburger pattie with excellent flavors and balance all around. Do not miss out, fantastic execution!!

Excellent place for a burger in Versailles! The service was very polite and friendly, and the menus have a very reasonable price compared to other places in Versailles. I think it is much worth eating here than eating at McDonald's or Burger King

Placed in the centre of Versailles, it is enough big and divided in two floors. It is possible to dine in the first floor, while in the ground floor there is the preparation and the take away. The food is not bad, although the chicken wings are too cooked. The potatoes are good, as well as the salad. It is not easy to park nearby. The staff is very gentle and can speak english. Preparation fast. Recommended.

Really bad attetion, they claimed they are low on waiters. It made me sad because a fried recomended me this place.
Really expensive for what you get. Overall i would not go back ever!

Good burgers, admittedly a little more expensive than most burger chains, but they have lots of different good cheese options for each burger and I definitely recommend trying their fries!

Its fast food with high quality, we enjoy of this and kids too, frites - respect

Such a small and comforting atmosphere. Home cooked food prepared with love. Family run and friendly service. €15/20 per person. Menu is basic but there should be enough choices to fill you up. Free Wifi and bathroom available.

I've eaten the BEST BURGER in my life here. Since Les Burgers de Papa offers a vegetarian option for every burger, I was able to enjoy my meal as well as my whole family.

Took just 7 mins to receive my food at 5pm on a Saturday. Self service machines that let you add or remove ingredients to your burger. Clean. Friendly staff. They made an error with my friends order and they quickly corrected it and gave some free onion rings.
