Our very first experience. Got to say, we really enjoyed the great hospitality and train staff. Our host was very friendly and the train Chief came around and talked with us! That's the kind of customer service I appreciate. It was a train robbery and everyone did an outstanding job on their performance. The trip down and back was very nice. We have booked another trip in October. The museum was very educational and the staff greeted us with opening arms. This is a great place to visit and would strongly recommend taken a trip there.
Highly recommend. Great location to step into railroading history. Also check out the model trains. We will be taking one of the excursions this summer.
I did the DelMonaco wine tasting train trip to Watertown. They had several types of wine to sample on the train ride to Watertown. They had plenty of snacks and food to eat on the train. When in Watertown there isn't much to do. You can buy whole bottles of wine from the winery and eat at one of the restaurants but be prepared to wait because the restaurants are very busy. Other then that there isn't anything in Watertown to do. Besides a few shops you can just relax and enjoy music and your wine. We were there for 3 hours before heading back. All in all it was worth the train ride and wine tasting.

I cannot leave store without buying something! Good place to buy gifts, paper and unique and good quality stationary. A little pricey for some items.
Reserve your seat! This is the hottest ticket in town for a historic fun ride through the beautiful Tennessee countryside. Great for couples, parties and a fun special day!
Went there to get my gifts wrapped.
They were very nice and helped my to choose the materials for wrapping it.
It was a little expensive.
I spend about $75 for two medium size boxes in total with wrapping service and materials plus two cards.
If you're lucky enough to get Brenton to give you a tour then you are in for a treat! He was very knowledgeable and gave us access to all the cars to view and take pictures. Not the biggest museum but it's the experience that matters.
North Pole Express was our experience. Let me start with, it's NOT the licensed Polar Express. You do get a 2 min Santa interaction, a bell, and carolers. The Christmas experience was probably the first 5 min. So that was a bummer. The kids got bored really fast, 5 and 2.5 year old. Our trip was over 3 hours bc idk why. Your paying for a train ride so it's the experience. Made the best of it, won't do it again. No Christmas music either, that was weird. Friendly staff, everyone was wonderful but definitely won't do it again, especially for over $200 and after an hour we were ready to be done.
Impressive selection for a small shop. Great staff. Museum layouts and equipment are also definitely worth a visit. Love the neon sign!
It’s exciting to think how rail was in its time. It’s very interesting to me. This one began in 1953. The Museum has vintage models but no running locomotives.

What is mostly lacks is how people get in line to load the train, versus the restroom line. It’s just a herd of people everywhere. There are wonderful volunteers to help but even then people do as they want.

*Have your ticket(s) pulled up on your phone so that it’s easier to get boarded. There is also time to take pictures after the ride since you enter and exit the same way.
*If you have trouble with stairs this will be difficult.

***They suggest getting there one hour early. It is NOT enough time! Safe yourself grief and get there at least 2 hours early. Otherwise it’s a total mess! People coming every direction in cramped areas all trying to get food/drinks/gifts. Going earlier allows you to park, walk, look around in the museum before the crowd, use the restroom especially since it isn’t one open until the train starts moving. Be sure to get in line to board. You then can gift shop in that car and then get food/beverages before sitting down.

The temps reached 81 and with the sun shine in it gets Hot 🥵 on the train. Apparently, the cooling system is the original as it would have been in 1953. I am all for Nostalgia but being hot and uncomfortable isn’t enjoyable. Especially when it was so difficult to get drinks. They really to take preorders for your food and have them in each car at your seat. It would save the insanity.

Also, be aware it smells dank and musty on the train. If you suffer from allergies, migraines, etc. just be aware. I ended up getting a migraine that’s why I am adding this. They really should do something to freshen them up.

I also noticed that some of the seats have no padding left at all. Consider that you will be sitting awhile. A cushion would be a good idea.

Standing, walking and the restroom is not the easiest while the train is moving.

Take a Fanny pack or small bag since you will be holding whatever you take.

The windows on the train are beveled and you don’t get the best pictures. It’s an enjoyable ride with a group. Or you could go alone and gaze out the window. You will not only see pretty foliage, small town and you will see many homeless under the bridges.

It was a fun experience meeting new people. I made the most of it. The best part were the musicians! They were excellent in players and lots of Fun! Thanks again to the trio!

I am glad that I did this. Just wish I knew then what I have shared. Since it would have made such a huge difference. Enjoy the Ride! ❤️

Outstanding! Visiting the area and need a gift wrapped to perfection? This is the place!! Everyone in Nashville needs to know about The Paper Source. From
the friendly and informative phone call (when I called in a state of despair from 4 calls that went nowhere) to the attention and assistance at the store. Unique merchandise and knowledgeable team. I am sorry they aren’t in my hometown. Thank you!!

I LOVE this place. I've been to their website so many times. I couldn't make a decision. I am so glad I found the store front by accident. I like to touch my paper before I buy it. I use them for beautiful end papers in my books. It is hard to find sheets that fit 12x9 books for binding. Hardest part is not being half the store. Lol

I almost never leave reviews but I’ve been here a few times and every time the store associates are so unfriendly. It’s shocking — everything in the store is so cute, and yet, the people are so miserable there. Definitely wanted to give the benefit of the doubt the first few times— especially as retail can be a tough industry to work in, but it’s just shocking how unfriendly the people here are.

Well stocked with items, unfortunately the did not have a lot of gift wrap rolls but had quite a few unique gift items, along with tons of tissue paper, stationery and greeting cards.

I came in with 13 bachelorette party invites, I was looking for some nice envelopes to put them in. I found the envelopes but realized my invites were just a tad bit too big to fit in the envelopes. I asked if I could get them cut so that I could place them in the envelopes, and told the manager that I only had 13 cards. She said no and that she can't do that for me, yet there was a paper cutter right next to me. It would have taken 20 seconds of her time. She told me to go to FedEx instead. I just prefer to shop at places with kind and helpful staff.
Love going to the paper source. We do small holiday gifts and get bored using the same rolls of wrapping paper. To bring some life to the gift giving I wandered in here and found some great paper to make them a little less dull!! The customer service is the greatest too. I was helped by a man named Eric, who helped me find everything I needed and even offered to wrap everything. GREAT STORE!
