This is the bus station for long distance buses leaving from FRA airport. Incredibly sketchy and dirty, there’s not even a bench to sit. They could really do better than this.
One of the most important hubs in Europe.
There 2 terminals for both regional and international flights that serve all over the world.
Tex free in terminal one in hall B.
- You need first to check in your luggage, then receive them back from airline desk.
- take the luggage with tax free stuff to Customs with your boarding and checked bags to stamp the tax free claim documents.
- then handover the bags to customs.
- afterwards collecting your money either cash or to credit card. The fees of cash collection is very high.
Needs renovation and repair especially at Gaye B 32, 31, 30 . There is no ramp leading to the bus .
Been here houndreds of times In the past 7 years. Bit less In last 3.

Today AirPort looks less crouded but still well organized.

It is huge, but signes gives you a clear direction where to go and how much time will it take.

Automatu walka ways speed it up so you don’t need to run

Always stairs or elewators are at disposal.

Somehow I like it on the journey. Maybe because it is the last stop before Home?
Good service! If u have any problem with the terminal or way to tor plane, you can ask anyone from airport’s staff and they tell you everything and explain how to go to gate :) thank you!
I was here for 3 hours for transit, the airport is modern. If you want to do tax refund, please be aware that there are 2 places to get the stamp for your receipt. One is before the check in for you who puts the goods in Large baggage, and another one is after the check in for you who puts the goods in cabin baggage or your bag so you can show the tax refund goods to the staff.
If you somehow forget to do the tax refund and put the goods into your baggage and couldn’t show the goods to the staff, they won’t give the stamp.
After you get the stamp, next you go to Global Tax Refund counter to give the receipt that has been stamped.
A very large airport with lots of terminals and gates for both domestic and international departures. There’s a tram that connects these terminals to and fro. It’s readily available within few seconds as its constantly moving. The direction boards are both in German and English language as well. Plenty of restrooms at every point and gate which are well maintained and very clean. Restaurants and food courts with drinking water and charging points makes it easy for layovers.
Great airport. Really spacious. The handled our bags with no issues (we had a 40 minutes connection). Great duty free shops and food.
