It is a place with a lot of history with trained staff and its own spaces for events with family, friends and special occasions.
What a great day. I am im awe of such a magnificent preservation
This is an important area historical site located in Fort Totten, Bayside. Membership is easy and low cost. They have plenty of activities for kids and adults. February just had a brunch with a great jazz quartet and food company.
Ine of the most unique buildings on the Fort Totten grounds. It is a great catering space with tons of room and amenities for all. I Love all the old pictures of Bayside/Whitestone area. It is amazing to see what some of the surrounding areal used to look like compared to its modern present form.
My daughter wanted to have a medieval theme wedding. She and her fiancé took one look at the Bayside Historical Society’s venue and decided that this was the place. To make matters more complex, we wanted local food and intricate decorations. Laura, from the venue, was accommodating, kind and encouraging. Her steady hand allowed my family to enjoy the wedding instead of worrying about the arrangements. Thank you, Laura and all the staff at Bayside Historical Society.
Fantastic local place to visit. It is nice and commodious if an event is to be hosted there, and it has a great museum inside. I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Fort Totten is just full of significant history, if you take the time to research it.
Beautiful mansion and the location has lovely surroundings. You get to explore a massive property and be by the water. If you visit the mansion it's a 5 dollar suggested donation.
I work events professionally all around the metro area, and I have to say this is the best one I've been to. If you want your wedding to have soul and character, don't have it somewhere arbitrarily expensive on the water, find a place that makes you feel the way the historical society does, and understand the importance of your event.
