Very bad at picking up the phone. If someone is reading this who works there PLEASE pick up the phone. It’s very unprofessional for no one to pick up the phone at front desk.
Eden is a life saver! She is so gentle and caring, yet effective on helping me process the trauma I've gone through. I can tell she genuinely cares about me and helps me understand myself better than I could hope to do on my own. Definitely recommend her to anyone who has gone through trauma, especially domestic violence and sexual assault, or is neurodivergent. She's the best.
Unprofessional and harmful.
I went there and was able to focus better after getting prescribed the proper medications.
Becky is amazing! Supportive, informative and calm when it matters. I am so glad found this place when first moved here houseless, had to overnight in car a few times as could not get to residence and then when lost my housing. She helped me get connected to resources.

This place sucks, been here, this place literally stinks
Says their open on Saturdays I had an appointment booked a couple weeks out got an email saying it was scheduled and everything. I show up and no one is there. No one ever called to confirm or reschedule. Wasted my time and gas for nothing. A call or email would have been nice letting me know I would show up to an empty building.
The most understanding and helpful person I've ever gotten help from, I recommend him a thousand times over!!
Fair and ethical, good standards of treatment.
All of the staff are genuinely concerned about helping folks with the basic needs of life and gaining, maintaining and promoting mental health in many ways.
Friend was indicted by the FBI on computer fraud charges and then tortured by the CIA at this hospital in 2019. They have a neurotoxic gas room somewhere in the basement where people's brains are fried using industrial chemicals. The hospital has no record of his stay at API either..
Dr Prevost is the best of the best ( also his team )no pain & no problems, total hip replacement and driving 6 days after my surgery🙂👍🇬🇧

Dr. Ampong is an amazing Dr. that helps you out 100% he is very caring about all his patients. He will work with you one on one to develop a plan that works for you and does not have a medication only approach, he went over a very extensive questionnaire about everything that affects your body and health. I would recommend him to anyone who is serious about obtaining the best care. Thank you Dr. Ampong for taking the the time to work so hard with me and making a difference in my life.
As an Alaskan Native, they are amazing. It still takes some time to establish a service as they are just that busy.
got harassed by some of the male staff ; they didn't get my meds right ; its too expensive for what little they do for you ; the security , or "staff" tried to do a therapy session, which seemed really off ; the gym and the art room are a waste,... work with us on a daily basis ( with an actual therapist ) so we can go back to our jobs and families. a lot of money seems to go to making the building look pretty, and security / security officers , which is a waste, ( hire more therapists )
Rude staff. Never open. They don’t really do anything here anymore. Why do they still exist?

I have worked with several therapists over the years and Eden is absolutely the best. Eden is professional, intelligent, she has a great sense of humor and truly cares about her clients.
I enjoyed the staff! Susitna unit was great. I got a lot of tools to help myself!

Nothing to really see
I spoke with somebody and this individual whom I will not name due to confidentiality purposes, is a great individual who gave me a great Insight into the world beluga whales, wait wait no that's that's that's the South Pole. I meant great insight to the world of the orcas AK of Anchorage.
Look at everything that is true they help
The staff are respectful and kind with an awareness of clients needs. However, it can take a long time to establish services here if you are not a Native Alaskan or American Indian.
They are very helpful and help you form solutions
It didn't help me what so ever. They were very rude and not friendly. The staff should have worked in a prison not at a mental health institute. Do not go there if you or a loved ones needs help
