Deposited some summer funds into the kiddos savings account at our Congressional Federal Credit Union. Love their Saturday hours due to Monday thru Friday office hours aren’t conducive to my schedule. The staff were friendly and courteous throughout the entire process. Would recommend membership at a credit union for anyone looking to change or add an account for themselves or their kids. Enjoy!
Horrible bank. I filed a dispute for a counterfeit item and they botched the process and I got stuck with a $500+ charge. Will never give this bank another cent of my money.
Unbelievably rude and unhelpful. I was talked down to and hung up on. Still in shock from my experience with Katie Robertson.
Awful and worst customer service experience ever!
On March 31, I went in as a new customer because the account I have is a shared bank and Congressional Federal credit Union is the closest one to me.
However, as the teller, Maria did the cashier’s check, she incorrectly spelled the company name. When she went to correct the check; on the system she voided the check but couldn’t reissue a check because she selected the wrong button that locked the account.
In addition, she told me to call the shared bank because my account wasn’t reflecting the money and need the shared bank to unlock my account. However, the shared bank stated they couldn’t do nothing until Monday for the money to reflect on the account and the teller should’ve known not to select void check; mind you I was urgently in need of the check that same day!

They're rude disrespectful unhelping is making them do the paperwork over and over again I've been with the credit union for 30 years in the past couple years have been horrendous! Lock me out my account cuz somebody else wrote me a bad check! It's been almost 10 days by the end of today! 5tg time having me locked out on weekends so the offices are closed. Plus, nothing else will be done for days later.
Every time i go to the Oakton branch is a great experience . Professional, kind, and comfortable..... I never have any issues at all, also is a great experience of professional and kindly service with the tellers over the phone.... Its the best Bank in the United States. I live in Manassas and there is another Credit Union Service Center around me in Chantilly, but they are not a full service location like Congressional Federal is. When I transferred from Stafford, to Arlington work-wise, I found Congressional Federal to be a wonderful place while on the commute home on I-66. I have not had any unpleasant experiences with the staff or members. In fact they seemed to be eagerly willing and able to help assist me with any requests that I have.
The staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. After I waited in line the teller couldn't help me deposit CASH into MY ACCOUNT. Then when I walked over to the ATM to desperately be able to use my own money, the teller opened up the ATM from the back so I had to wait almost an hour to use it and then it didn't work. They totally waste your time.
Oh, I was put on hold today for ten minutes before hanging up just for calling to find out what the HOLIDAY HOURS ARE for NYE tomorrow. You know, since apparently you are magically supposed to know this stuff!
