From the station, cut through Starbucks and walk down the stairs and exit via the Fox to avoid long walk. I arrived three minutes before my allotted appointment time for a passport renewal. No lines whatsoever. Quick and respectful security. Funny chat with counter clerk.

WARNING ! PARKING AT EXCEL IS £25 (maybe less if you have pre-booked) but they don’t tell you this !
Despite numerous Txt’s & emails from them confirming the appointment they couldn’t find it. They then gave me a ticket that follows no sequence & a form that made little sense. They would have left me hanging about all day should I have not have asked what the delay was.
I dealt with someone quite helpful in the end, after initially asking (maybe a supervisor) but they were just rude, disinterested & ignored me.
Fortunately the passport was ready (so no idea why this delay happened) but I do hope I’ll never need to experience this nonsense again!

Well impressed by the speed and efficiency of the renewal of my wife's passport. Staff on the phone very professional and reassuring that we would receive the new one in good time. From start to finish in 10 days. We don't think you can beat that. Applied on line and new passport and old one returned within that short while, whilst being kept informed by them every step of the way. Superb!

I tried renewing my passport online due to being overseas, after posting all the info in, the online process updated and changed to "pending processing", only for nothing to happen and the process expired due to time elapsed. Only after internationally calling and waiting on hold for 4 hours did they tell me the reason my renewal never changed from "processing" was because they were waiting for me to post different info to the stuff i had already sent. no where on the website or in emails did they convey this request for further information. A pack of clowns running this place.
They also refused to reopen the renewal and told me to start a new process from the beginning and to repost everything again.
Clowns.

Can’t complain about the people who pick up the phones, but the examiners appear to be purposefully nitpicking. My partner had a co-signer who fit every criteria perfectly, but according to the examiner they were not acceptable. I suspect they will be happy to keep the £82.50 (or try to at any rate). The entire co-signature thing is extremely flawed at any rate, and they refuse to take the word of someone who is unemployed or originally from lands foreign (despite very legally living and working in the country), or who has a British passport but is out of date. Apparently this makes their word in identifying a person meaningless, for reasons beyond sense and logic.

Efficient queue processing. Genevieve, the officer taking care of my renewal, was well-mannered and a beam of joy. We had one hiccup with the scanning of one of my two passports, so I waited a bit longer than most people would, but this was so minor it wasn’t even something that could be registered as “complaint-worthy”, in my mind.

Entire office was immaculately clean and security staff very friendly.

Overall, a pleasant experience. I was in and out within a half hour.

Amazing AMAZING service!
I applied for my daughters first passport online and have it printed and in my hands less than 2 weeks later! (Much to my relief as we go abroad next week!) Did not have to attend an appointment, just used the standard service and I'm very impressed. Great online system that keeps you updated of all stages.

Visa World is an amazing company, they gave us loads of advice to complete the forms. We were told visas could take up to 2 weeks. Passports with visas received under 2 weeks. They kept in touch with us during the process. Very friendly and good communications. Would definitely use them again next time we need visas.

The guards will send you away if you are too early, but you can just wait there till it's time. Keep your appointment email open both for first guards and then again before the x-ray. Screen shot of email if you don't have data for phone.

As others mentioned, there's x-ray security of your belongings. Then check in desk, give your surname and first name, where you'll get a number and will be called to a counter when ready. They made me drink my lemon and honey drink, but had option of keeping it there till after appointment. Went in just before 11:45 and came out 11:56. Staff friendly and efficient.

This was for fast track passport renewal and for postal delivery.

Absolutely super service from this company. I applied for new UK Passport from overseas and this company helped me navigate this from start to finish.

Vishal was super efficient, prompt, even called me overseas to explain the process. They checked all my docs before I sent to them and before I paid. The application was placed and a new passport was received in 7 days flat.

There are 2 price points, quite elevated, however, well worth it and beats the insane 13 week wait advertised on the UK passport website....

I had quite a few queries - about booking an appointment, changing an appointment, and the up-to-date list of documents required as different sources online mentioned slightly different documents. I corresponded via email to OIS, and had all my questions and concerns answered, which I greatly appreciated (for example, it was not a mandatory requirement to have an invitation letter from someone in Nigeria if you are applying for a Tourist Visa - a hotel reservation and letter you write yourself explaining the purpose of your trip + itinerary sufficed). I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment time (0900am), queued outside. The gentleman at the entrance checked we had all the right documentation before sending us in. Once inside, I waited 5 minutes before meeting a representative, who took all the documents, biometrics and the 20GBP service fee by card. I was out in 20 minutes max. The website says a minimum processing time of 5 days, I went on Fri, the visa was issued and the passport returned to OIS the Fri after, and it arrived at my place via Special Delivery on Saturday morning. The customer service at this place is inept and absurd. The 'manager' Bhaskar Roy was particularly incompetent.

A dreadful website in general but crucially it didn't make clear that the requirements for minors differed from adults. At the appointment, before we even got in the door we were asked if we had birth certificates for the children- clearly this is something they expect customers to have missed, so why not change something and save countless families time and money!

There was a complete lack of empathy as well as ridiculous irrational defensiveness from the staff (one guy showing me the convoluted way I should have found the child visa requirements- which involves answering a question incorrectly on a drop down menu, just couldn't say a kind or logical thing). We had to re-book appointments, travel to London a second time, pay for the express service because we were no longer in time for the standard service to guarantee our passports back in time- costing us £500+ as well as our precious summer holiday time.

I was utterly disgusted and have also complained to the Nigeria High Commission.

My husband went there 13th June to apply for visitor visa. By 22nd June he has received his visa.

Before he went to attend his appointment. I had exchanged emails with Ois staff and they were very helpful

The website is not fit for purpose and doesn’t highlight that Visa requirements are different for minors.

At my visa appointment they made no efforts to help causing me to have to rebook, re-travel and take the children out of school for a second day.

Tried to complain to the centre manager for feigned interest and offered nothing but a generic general enquiry address to raise a complaint.

If I could give no stars I would.

What a shocking advert for the nation. First impressions count.

Pre-empting the inevitable and defensive reply that “it is clearly explained in the website”, you might want to consider how many times you write that statement and reflect on whether it is actually that clear. It may be clear to you who knows the system throughout, it isn’t to your paying customers.

The service is fantastic, would definitely recommend when you are applying for an emergency passport. The customer service is also amazing, they get back to you ASAP. Everything was done super fast, from booking the passport office appointment, to the collection appointment, and posting all of it back to me. It was done in less than 1 week, for the 1 week premium service.

Very good services. Quick, friendly, professional. Only one small thing was bad: they didn't deliver the passport in 5 working days how they said... Actually I had to go personally to the High Commission to enquire after nearly one month, and that was very painful, costing me time, more money and energy. I understand a visa process could be complicated sometimes, but they should start to ask questions when they saw is a long delay... I nearly lost my flight... So, yeah: is space for improvement. Seriously!

With the current state of the passport application process I decided to choose visa world as a last resort and thank God I did they were able to secure me a 1 week fast track appointment within a week of the meeting when I was trying for 2 months with no success they check all your application info to ensure you get your passport as quickly as possible I got mine within 4 days of them attending the appointment saved me a holiday, they're reliable reputable and can't thank them enough

My experience with them was great and highly professional...
I did my bvn and after some days email them with details from my receipt, I got my reply in less than 24 hours.

I received a good service when I went for my BVN enrollment. The 2 security men I met there were nice and helpful. I was enrolled by an Asian man, and he too was nice and helpful. I actually didn't have a bad experience.

On the 10th working day, I sent them an email that I hadn't received my BVN number yet, and within an hour, it was emailed to me.

Overall, I am happy with the quality of service received.

Excellent service! I needed a new passport in a hurry, as I was in the UK for just a few days and my old passport was nearly full. Despite impending Christmas Festivities, Rapid Passports was true to their name and the whole process was dealt with by phone and post without the hassle of going to the Passport Office. Rapid Visa were very quick at getting Saudi business visas for myself and a colleague. When you have a tight turnaround it is worth the cost as the company was very efficient and attentive to details and kept me updated. They also did the document validation services with the chamber of commerce, which is too complex to do yourself. For the sake of not getting the application wrong for a complex visa regime like Saudi Arabia, it is worth using their services. They also have a central London office so it is convenient for dropping the passports off as I did not want to put them in the post. Highly recommended

So far, great. Prompt, clear, thorough, courteous, helpful. I can't imagine what happened with the gentlemen who described them as the worst company ever, but that has not been my experience. In a sense, all these visa and passport services are selling services that one could do for oneself (if one had the time and confidence), but I don't begrudge them their money. I have very poor eyesight. Reading reams of instructions is pure hell. I asked for some additional help and they were able to offer it. Tip Top, in my view.
