So much to look at!
I love this store so much
The fried chicken is to die for! It was a nice small restaurant. The host was polite and accommodating. He even had a cool turn-table record player playing great seventies jazz and hip-hop. It added a welcoming appeal to our delicious brunch meal. It was a little pricey, but worth it

For just over 5 years I have been shopping at this Diaso. They are one of my favorite places. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
This fun store, just inside the strip mall, is a great place to shop and find small items to help you live better. Something for everyone, the choices are super cool. I love checking out the office supplies and stationary items. Of course, the candy and snack area is another place in the store where I pick up a few fun things to taste. Then I check the pet area as the options there are fun, including the pet clothing! There are a number of interesting items all over the store, and you could spend hours browsing.
This Daiso is smaller than other Daiso stores I've been to, but I love it anyway. There is always something new that I must have when I stop by.

Customer service at this store is horrendous. The system crashed after I paid. So they claim it didn’t go through and made me pay again. Even though I showed them the charge on my bank account. Instead of dealing with my situation appropriately, they wanted to move me out of the way to help other customers. Why wouldn’t they finish fixing my issue before helping others. Luz was the rude cashier that rudely told me to move while I was waiting for Anthony to bring me a card with corporate information. Anthony was condescending and very rude as well. The card he brought me was just a cut up piece of paper that was a joke because it’s just an email address that probably won’t even be much help. They said the first charge would be removed. Well here we are, a week later and I have double charges on my account that have cleared. Which means now I have to waste my time going back to have it resolved. The store itself is fine, but I would never go back to this location if this is the type of customer service they provide.
This has been my favorite concert hall gift shop for years. They have a beautifully curated selection of home wears, jewelry, and music-themed gifts. If there’s an artist in your life you need to shop for, look no further than here. Their online inventory is also well stocked and regularly updated!
Please get your employees all on the same page instead of falsely advertising open hours. Being pointed to a sign that says it's open as an excuse for why they are closed without speaking to a customer is just rude

Such a cute little shop. You can get plenty of products at a low price. The variety of home goods is also wide so you can for sure find something you might need at home.
The most beautiful things at this store that used to be on Abbot Kinney… worth going to and a lot closer than Japan
Nice, neat Daiso in Koreatown. This one is on the smaller side, but had an excellent selection of storage/organization items. Staff are helpful and friendly. Parking wasn't the best. We found a meter on the street, but it looks like there is a garage for the mall.
Wow. Everything you can image and well beyond your wildest dreams.. if it's fashion, it's here. It doesn't take a lot of money to look this cheap . Fabulous day of shopping.
Despite not selling any tortoises here, this place has some beautiful artisanal crafts that make for great gifts.
We where upset about this visit..we stay 20-30 min to get in. On the enter man tell us," you have only 20 min and we accept only cash." It was first shock. Second thos place very small and really not much choices. Prices incredible blowout.

This place has a little bit of everything. Fair prices on many of their items. Some items are not the best quality but overall you get a good deal for the money.
Please don't buy anything on half off promo or always double check dates these people or clubs for that matter are not ashamed to sell you trash. The Lumpys smells like dry grass with absolutely no taste. I'm broke I can't afford this hit. You know!.
Mismanaged clones, sold me multiple types when I only wanted ONE VARIETY. Just unprofessional and hokey. I'm angry that they wasted my time. I got one of the variety I wanted, the others are some B.s. strain I do not want. Took 2.5 months to figure it out. It's a rip off and I'll NEVER give these crooks my $ again. Over priced and gimmicky. Their unprofessional business model left me angry and feeling ripped off. I'd post negative stars if I could.
I love this Daiso location inside the small shopping center!! There are lots of items to choose from. The shopping center has a parking lot and Daiso can validate your ticket for 2 hours
It’s nothing like it was 15 years ago prices have doubled. The food is expensive the parking get you they say $10 for the first three minutes you got to read the small print wherever you park can you pull up in the parking garage and they charge you 20 bucks if you have a vacation it’s not the place to go.

Busy mall with indoor and outdoor dining and shopping you can easily spend a lot of time in this big mall worth visiting
Literally 99 cent store but Japanese and WAY BETTER. The amount of stuff was amazing and you'd be surprised how many items you have in your hand when you check out. The employees were super nice and would help you immediately in case you needed something. Other than that a cool spot to walk around in and browse. For sure check it out if you're nearby.
We usually go the the Torrance locations. This was our first time here and it was so different! Super cute stuff! Located on level 1 next to the Market. Super clean, organized and friendly staff.

However when people are on a budget one expects to pay a certain amount at the register. The store's price signs need to be updated or items need to be clearly and individually priced. I was even charged more than the marked price for a few of my items which I didn't discover until I got home. They need to understand that one can't just make up arbitrary pricing as they go along.
I happened to shop at the store in Little Tokyo on the same day. The latter charged me $1.50 for the same items that this store charged me $1.75 for. It's not the money but it's the principle. Quarters add up quickly.

The Academy Museum Store was really cool. In that it provided merchandise which matched the curated collection. Included medical T-shirts, a plethora of books on Los Angeles, filmmaking, and artist and filmmakers. Some cool decorative items which you can see in some of my photos. Overall a very chill vibe and friendly staff. It probably will not take you more than 15 minutes to get through the store, unless you looking for something specific.
I Love, Love, Love ❤️ this store and I miss it so much since I’m back in Germany!

Every time we are in a LA we visit the shop. It moved to a new location, feels a bit different now but still a very nice selection of Japanese households goods.
Excelente, encuentras ropa de marca a bajo precio. Ropa inferior, Zapatos, Toallas, elementos de uso para la casa cremas. Lo recomiendo.

A smaller Daiso than others which means less variety than others. There were no cat cardboard scratchers here unfortunately. They do have various small goods and kitchen goods here, even camping goods. One interesting find was a dry bag
Love a Daiso! Always has cute little things I don’t need 🤣 drove from downtown LA but not worth it. Been to better Daisos. This location is not so clean, looks dirty around the area even the moment you come in To the shopping center. The store looks somewhat I. Order and workers are trying to keep it clean just the area doesn’t help. Prices are not so cheap anymore, it depends on what you buy but overall it’s stocked with the basics.
The multi media to Tristan and Isolde act II tonight was horrendous. STOP!!! The artsy movie in the background is distracting and not coherent-plus not relevant to time period. The shortest and nearly the worst opera event I’ve attended in 30 years. Shocking!
They have all kinds of cozy stuff and I get zen feeling here too. Online shopping experience with them is great too but I'd always prefer to visit the store physically every few months to keep me updated. Keep in mind that they are closed on Mondays.
perfect place to get your nephew gifts he won't like but will look back on in 20 years and realize you were in fact a pretty cool uncle.

The Rainbow cake flower is amazing! Incredibly terpy flower and burned super well in a blunt. I’m looking forward to having it again next week! Security guard Anthony had amazing customer service! Very happy we came in the store today!

A shoppers dream. There are shops, shops and more shops. Just bring some money and br ready to spend it. Also, most places charge $1 to use the bathroom. It is retail and wholesale shopping.
I generally like this place but am tired of them not even honoring their own advertised deals. This clearly says 1 1$ preroll per eighth, yet I bought a quarter and they refused to honor their own deal and said at check out it should say "1 pre roll per unit not per 8th" and only gave me 1 pre roll when I purchased 2 8ths. Very annoying. Make sure you double and triple check that they actually honor their own deals because they don't always do so.
UPDATE: I Came back a week later and they changed the sign to say the deal is "buy 1/4 get a one dollar preroll." So I go to buy a the 1/4 and they once again refused to honor their own advertised promo and would not give me a preroll for a dollar.

The LA Phil "store" is FABULOUS !! Full area for music albums, plus a childrens section with music books, instruments, and toys! Great section for jewelry and accessories for BOTH men and women. Many gift ideas for all!!
At this time, it is only open during performances. The inventory on offer is tasteful and unique. There is some very lovely hand crafted jewelry as well. Not bohemian...They must be experiencing supply chain issues during this pandemic. There is far less on stock now than in previous times.
It's been awhile, but I was working today. I love the LA Phil Store. Always something interesting.
It's a cool spot I seen a lot of stores open and thriving a bit expensive but they deserve the chance of coming up since all of the SGV foothills are cashing inn big money of there stores so it's time for this areas too get there fair share 😉 si se puede
Today's venture gained us 3 different varieties: Wedding Cake, White Mamba, & Lowell Lemon Lush (hybrid, indica & sativa). Kan-Ade came through with the goodies & a t-shirt. Happy Hour discounts and whatnot.

The best place for everything, literally. There is nothing you can’t buy here. Household goods? They got em. Food? That too. Health and beauty? Yup. Everything you didn’t know you needed but now you do is here.
They have some of the most unique fabric I have ever seen. Very pretty and selection is huge. Price is extremely cheap. The attendants are nice and they dont pressure you. Its a must go if u like to sew your own products.
Great little store with a little bit of everything. Toiletries, electronics, stationary, household items, even cutlery and plates and bowls. Starting at $1.50, they've got some really great deals. Some things will go in and out, so if you see something you like, grab it because you never know if it'll be back.
Friendly staff that are patient with their customers. Large variety of products, and the employees are very knowledgeable with the product. Definitely one of the better, friendlier dispensaries in LA

This was the best stocked store we found while in L.A. The selection was far and away the best. They had plenty of people to help, without being too pushy to move you along. They had a 'clearance cart,' and had deals for first timers. The way they have it set up makes it really easy to shop and check everything out. We'll be back in L.A. in a few months and will definitely be back.
My husband and I always wondered what "Tortoise General Store" was, so we felt the need to pop in over the weekend. What IS this place? A 7-Eleven type store, a liquor shop, a small grocery store?

With LA's incredibly diverse population, it's normal to walk into a store and feel like you've been transported to that country. That's what happens in Tortoise, you're transported to Japan. The store feels like a museum as well, with pottery and items on display that are so pretty you don't know if you can buy them or not, (but guess what, you CAN)!
If you dig culture, minimalist style, items for your home and love to shop locally then you must stop in Tortoise! Support Local Stores!

This store and gallery sparks joy! I want to buy everything, which is so hard for a minimalist like me. Oh, how I love visiting this store and buying a little something to add to my collection. Also, wonderful place to buy a gift...hint.

So many scrappy business people of all genders and nationalities trying to carve out their niche and live true American dream. Great Daiso location! Love it! I always find exactly what I need and more 😂 hit and miss with some of the products but it's alright I guess. Keep in mind $1.50 adds up quickly 😳😳😳. This location validates parking, but parking attendants can be rude 😒 park at your own risk. This Daiso seems to have most items stocked up. So sad pets were not allowed 💔 FYI pet lovers 😢
This is a Japanese style 99cents store except their price is mostly $1.50. I recommend this place since their products are pretty well made and last long. You can find many things from cute decorative products to day-to-day essentials. I like their stationary such as board magnets and felt-tip liquid glues. This store carries many products that you don't see in the American stores. The store validate for 1 hour parking and their products are final sale which means they don't accept refund or exchange.
What a fun store! This is the best kind of 99 cent store. Colorful, clean, better quality items than most discount stores. I have bought snack items, glasses and plates, notebooks and pens, and office supplies. Always a pleasure to bounce around here for various items.
