An absolutely lovely walk, through the trees or fields, with lots of amenities and outdoor activities! Cafe made delicious drinks and it was a splendid day overall!

I don't think the owner likes dogs very much! Dogs are allowed to go for a walk but not allowed anywhere else at all. We thought this would be a nice day out with the family, but my family has gone into the Fort Douglas play area and I'm with our dog waiting outside for a couple of hours. The most indoorsy country park I've ever visited.

Great place to stop. The cafe was being used as a store room, so coffee in the yard was possible. Not nice in November! The restaurant was great but isn't Dog-friendly, although they do allow assistance dogs. The staff are great.

Nice dog tolerant walking areas.

An absolutely beautiful park. Plenty to do with the children in the play parks, lovely little shops and cafe also. But the absolute highlight was a walk through the ancient oak trees. So highly recommended. I'd recommend that you check out the paths before you go and find the one that follows the river. Gorgeous in the autumn especially.

A great place to go with family, friends or children.
The adventure park is very good and well spaced out so nowhere feels crowded. The adventure playgrounds are very nice and well bit, I always felt safe on there and I felt safe leaving my child to go around by herself.
The restoration yard is good, it has a nice kitchen, shops and cafe.
The whole area is very nice to walk around with family or friends and it is very dog friendly.
There are a lot of walking areas that are grass or mud so be prepared to get wet or muddy on rainy days.
