Maryland Carpet Installations was Absolutely EVERYTHING I was hoping for! I was seeking a Professional company to come install new carpet for my kids play room and they were above and beyond my expectations. I will admit I was being slightly Boujie and wanted the best of the best for this install and I got exactly what I was hoping for. They came in and gave me an estimate and options immediately after I contacted them and between purchase and install was less than a week. The carpet is a dream. It literally looks like velvet and it wasn't even the most expensive option. It vacuums like a dream and feels like a blanket. It's thick and gives those rich people carpet lines when you vacuum 😂 Anyway they came in and removed my old carpet and hauled it away and within a few hours my new carpet was perfectly installed (of which they kept me informed of all the steps in between the process) all in all I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend them to ANYONE looking to get carpet done. They were a dream team!

I have used Maryland Carpet Installation TWICE within a year of each other! one was my daughters room! And the second was my bathroom that they generously squeezed me in their schedule to do (and i was in a time crunch)! Their prices are so reasonable and their work is incredible!

We were SO pleased with the job that Carpet Gallery workers did on taking out the old rugs and replacing them with new ones. The stairs were done perfect too. Would HIGHLY recommend this company, and we will be using them in the future for downstairs carpet.

I made a down payment on a carpet to be bound and cut. They were supposed to call me when it arrived. I thought it might have taken a long time because of the shipping delays in this country. When it got to 3 months, I called and they pretended not to know anything about it or have a record of it. I brought in my copy of the contract and they said they would get the carpet cut in a week or two. Again no one called me and I got in touch with the owner who said I could get my down payment back. When I went in someone I had never seen or talked to insisted that messages were left for me and I hung up when they called me. That was a complete lie. I said okay if you have the carpet I'll take delivery and all you have to do is remove the old rug and lay the new one. That was refused even though the initial salesman promised to lay the new carpet. I don't think they really had the carpet I ordered and that is why they refused to install it. They just wanted to keep the down payment which is pathetic as it is a relatively small amount . I think you must have to promise to lie to customers in order to work there.

We recently had an excellent experience with the Carpet Gallery team including Mark, our project manager. He was extremely helpful from start to finish and helped us make wise choices for flooring that met our needs. He was never too busy to answer our numerous questions and made sure every detail was attended to. The installers were wonderful-- hard working, courteous, and paid attention to detail. We are very happy with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carpet Gallery for your flooring needs.

My husband and I just bought our first house and the hardwood floors definitely needed some love. We called Hagerstown floors and spoke with Jamie who was very friendly and scheduled and consultation for the next day. He was right on time, very professional and wrote up a quote while he was at our house. They were able to start the job two days later and did an amazing job refinishing our hardwood floors. Their team was very friendly and got the job done in a few days. I have already recommended them to friends and family and will continue to do so.

Doug and Mark are fantastic. They walked me through my choices and options. Mark came out and measured and offered his ideas. Which were on point. They have lots of choices on flooring in the showroom. The install team were great treated my home as if it was there home. I'll use them again in the future!

If you are going to have work performed by this company, I would STRONGLY recommend being present throughout the entirety of the job. In my recent experience with the company, the proposal formulated from the beginning was not adhered to at first. Long story short, had I not been present when the flooring installation guys arrived to replace rotted, saturated flooring, they would’ve simply covered it up and moved on. i absolutely loved working with Dorsey Brothers. the floors came out better than i expected. everyone at the front office was very responsive anytime i had a question. and the work Wayne & Jakob did was awesome. they took great care of my house while we were gone. they cleaned up and put the materials in one pile at the end of each work day. never left a mess. They are great guys! The Dorsey Brothers has a customer for life in me. Thank you!

We had Hagerstown Floors do our kitchen. They were very helpful getting us samples of flooring that I couldn't find anywhere else and ordered in samples multiple times. The price was fair and the workers who installed the floor were very careful moving the appliances on and off our hardwood floors and showed me how the pattern would look laid in different ways. They did a great job installing the vinyl floor and cleaning up. Our kitchen is not large and very chopped up so this was not an easy install. So why only three stars? The new kitchen floor is a quarter inch higher than the floor it meets in the dining room. They provide a flat threshold. My husband wanted to install some wall molding and asked if they would just leave the threshold and we would install. That was a mistake, we should have let them install the threshold, reject the threshold once down and ask for a reducing threshold, but we didn't. So once we realized the threshold they provided was not going to work we called but they already had their money so I was told they would talk to the workers and the suppliers and they could have another made but there would be a charged and they would get back with us, which they never did. Now if this was a threshold you could buy at one of the home improvement stores it wouldn't be a big deal but our threshold was over eight feet long, it was custom. So we found a woodwork shop in Hagerstown and had one custom made that reduces the height so you don't catch your toe every time you walk from one room to the other. We could have went back and paid Hagerstown Floors again for a custom red oak threshold but we didn't want to give them any more money since they didn't get back with us or try to work the problem out. Hope this helps someone in the future. But once again let me state, they are nice people, the workers are good and careful so just make sure you have what you want before the final payment.

Extremely unprofessional. Had them come out to review our project. We are replacing our entire stair system and require the stair and risers to be refinished. We are ready to sign. The owners son came out and walked out and said he doesn’t want to take our work. I’m guessing it wasn’t large enough for them. This has been such a frustrating experience

We had a truly awesome experience from start to finish with everyone from Dorsey Brothers. We had extensive renovations to all bathrooms, re-carpeted bedrooms, stairs, and main level living converted from linoleum/carpet to porcelain tile. Todd who specializes in tile work did impeccable work. He was very meticulous, tidy, and ensured it was a job well done. We were offered a great selection of the best quality flooring I’ve ever seen in a showroom and was given advice selecting colors and styles. Hands down, if you’re looking to have a home project done to perfection, Dorsey Brothers is the place to go!

What a nightmare. This outfit came in and ruined our floors, installed flooring 3 inches too high ruining our fireplace and dishwasher access, made the floor too high for our counter access, ruined 5 hardwood doors by cutting the bottoms off. Everything needed removed and repaired. Someone that knows nothing about flooring could have done a better job.
The last straw was when one of their employees attacked our son with a hammer and the sheriff department needed to be called and arrested the employee. I'd avoid them like a plague.

We had the best experience with Dorsey’s. Their workers were amazing! We had new carpet installed in 3 rooms. They moved the furniture, put everything back in 2 days and cleaned everything up. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend :)

Mr. Dorsey came out the next day when we called, and in less than a week our wood floors were repaired. He was knowledgable, quick, and sent us qualified workers. My parents have used Dorsey Brothers over the years for certain projects on the house and they have always done a great job. When I was looking to have some work done, I knew I could trust them. Everyone I worked with from the guys that did the work to the girls in the office were wonderful.

8 years ago I hired another contracting company to do a huge bathroom remodel for me which cost me a lot of money. They did a terrible job, things were leaking and they never stood behind their work or fixed any of the problems I had because of the job they had done. Within the last year, I had Dorsey Brothers redo my bathroom and they have been a life saver. They've not only done a wonderful job, but when problems have happened, they have stood by their work 100%. I can't recommend them enough, they truly are honest and caring people.
