We have two older children who have gone through FCPS and while their experiences were fine, we are very happy to have made the choice to enroll our youngest son in Dominion.

We were extremely hesitant and candidly worried about making the wrong choice. For example, we asked questions like:

- Is it too small?
- Is it not diverse enough?
- Low-Tech school ok, in a connected world?

The truth is it is smaller. But the community is more intimate.

It may not be as diverse, but that is changing with each year.

Low-tech? Our son is like any other child, they easily embraces technology but they will have a unique opportunity to learn the way many of us have learned without a lot of technology.

Our experience has been great; especially seeing our son thriving and really enjoying the community of kids not just in his grade but across the school. Teachers and faculty really do care and are committed. They have time; and take the time to meet our son where he is.

In the end, every child is different and Dominion may or may not be the right fit for everyone, but for us what a wonderful place and community it has been for our son.

I’ve worked at Dominion in a variety of capacities for the past 6 years, and it’s been a huge part of my life and community. The people are warm and inviting, the faculty and staff truly do care about the students, and the families really care about the faculty and staff. What a gift. Not only that, but I believe we really are providing a wonderful education from K-12.

Dominion Christian has been an amazing choice for our boys. We have twins in 3rd grade. This is their 2nd year. DCS has exceeded our expectations on every level. Our kids are learning and growing in so many wonderful ways and it is a joy to see. It’s been a great choice for our family!

Reviewing a school is kinda hard – there are so many aspects to consider. But DCS does well on all fronts. The academics are challenging in a good way. I can see the kids growing more thoughtful and making connections between their classwork and the real world. The teachers are amazing. It’s easy to see how much they care about their students. All in all, sending the kids to DCS has been an excellent decision.

We have three children at Dominion in 1st, 6th, and 7th grades and all three have been there since kindergarten. We all love their school! From our first months in kindergarten into middle school Dominion has exceeded our expectations. At Dominion our students are known, loved, and cared for individually. Their teachers are intentional about developing their character as much as their academic abilities, and each teacher displays a love for Christ in all that they do. Our children are excelling academically and developing a love for learning and for God. We highly recommend Dominion Christian School.
