Female at desk was very unprofessional and rude. I am a nurse and know how you should treat people.
I don’t like writing to much. But I have to say this. The staff there is so pleasant. Made my 1st time there enjoyable. Ms ketty Johnson is so sweet. I definitely recommend this place!! 100%.

THIS AMOUNT IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE PROCEDURE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A BILL THAT INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER JUST FOR READING THE RESULTS. I AM ON A FIXED DISABILITY INCOME AND FIND THIS TO BE UNNECESSARY WHY NOT HAVE DOCTORS IN NETWORK TO READ FILMS SO THAT PATIENTS AREN'T BILLED OUT OF NETWORK????
Techs are all great, but the receptionist lady never fails to have an attitude when checking people in. It’s always either an eye roll, annoyed facial gestures or using a condescending tone.
Left waiting 2 hours still after our scheduled appointment of 11:00am. Was told it was due to unexpected occurrences. Been waiting for this appointment for weeks to be left waiting hours in a lobby full of people.
My experience with Novant was great from the scheduling,,reception and the technician. I was very pleased all the way around and I would like to say thanks to the University imaging department.
I've always received the best care here. Even that time I was half an hour late, they were still super courteous and helpful with the reschedule! 😁
I had to do ultrasound for my son. Cost for 15 minutes ultrasound was $1200 after insurance . An ultrasound should never be this expensive. Total ripoff.
The staff is very friendly. They made an unpleasant experience better. Very quick visit.
The technician is great. Very personable and patient. The lady that checks people in may need q vacation. I didn’t understand what she was saying because the nurse was calling a patient and there is music in the lobby, she rolled her eyes at me. Didn’t acknowledge me when I entered, and didn’t even say good morning.
The staff there know their job and appear to be very happy performing their duties. I had a mammogram and a bone density test on the same day. Scheduling was perfection because as soon as I finished the first procedure, they were ready for the second. Each person I encountered, from the check in to the techs, was courteous and professional and I couldn't compliment them more. Thank you for an all in all A1 experience.
LENORE THE MRI TECH, HAS ASSISTED ME WITH MY MRI TWICE. SHE IS VERY KIND, HELPFUL, ALWAYS HAS A SMILE ON HER FACE, FOR THE PATIENT, AND A VERY WELCOMING WAY. OTHER EMPLOYEES SHOULD TAKE NOTE OF HER STELLER BEHAVIOR. SHE IS AN ASSET TO NOVANT!!!! MAR.2024
Ketty Johnson was my first contact on the phone and when I arrived at the office and she is probably the best experience like this I’ve ever had. My first ultra sound and cat scans had me pretty nervous. I can’t really put my finger on it, but her demeanor is absolutely perfect for what she does.
I’m guessing this is obvious those around her. Glad I was scheduled at her location.
Also, the technicians were friendly and patient.
Everyone was friendly and professional. You can tell it was a very caring atmosphere. The receptionist was responsive to all my questions I had. The technician was awesome.
Arrived at 8:50 for a 9:10 AM directed arrival time. The procedure was to take 30 min. I made it clear that I have to leave by 10 AM for work. After waiting until 9:35 AM, I told the front desk that I would have to leave if I wasn't able to get in soon. The girls at the front desk had an unnecessary attitude, telling me my "my health is important". I did everything I was supposed to do - I checked in online, I arrived very well on time, I paid almost $400, and I waited. She said they couldn't control emergencies. I sat in the waiting room while at least 20 people were called ahead of me. Those were all emergencies? I had to leave and requested a refund. At this time (Now 9:56 AM), they said they could take me in. I asked if they could perform this 30 min procedure in 4 min, since I Had to leave by 10AM? And they said they would try. Just ridiculous and to be made to feel as if this was my fault and no fault of their own is unfair. Still waiting for the promised refund with a call in to their office manager and no response. Will give it until the end of the day and then report them on BBB. No one should be made to feel this way.
Wouldn’t even allow back two people with my 3 year old daughter that’s scared to death. That wants her mommy and her mawmaw with her. Not sympathetic at all. Plenty of room for 2 adults and a child.
Not sure why there are so many negative reviews but I had a great experience. My results were sent from Novant to Tryon without any action on my part.

My MRI technician was so great - she also gave me a DVD/CD with my images in the event there were any issues getting my results sent to my doctor at Tryon. I would highly recommend!
The staff was amazing, treated my mom with care in her sickening state except Kizzy at the receptionist desk. Our 1st time there and my mom was greeted with attitude and impatience. Once she knew my mom wasn't alone, her attitude changed. These patients are going through enough as it is. I believe more positively, grace and less attitude will be a better approach with dealing with patients.
I had an MRI here today and had a good experience! The receptionist was friendly; but, mostly I appreciated Lenora, the technician! She was awesome..so sweet and kind, efficient, and helpful! Bravo Lenora! You shine brightly!
Went here recently for an MRI and had a good experience. I went after hours and I got in no problem. Plenty of parking, I was in and out very quick. My readings and results were done the next morning. Not sure why so many bad reviews.
Also, the area around is really nice.
We were referred to this office by my son’s surgeon and drove an hour and a half for our appointment. I was already familiar with the layout of hospital complex due to being hospitalized there for two months so I knew where to park etc. The receptionist was sweet and got us checked in promptly. The radiologist and technicians were great at their jobs and interacted very well with my infant son. The results of the tests were promptly sent over to his care team despite it being almost the weekend.
I drove here from Fayetteville the day before, paid for a hotel got to my appointment on Saturday only for them to tell me I have to reschedule because they called the day before and left a message to change the time. So irresponsible. The time I was given when the appointment was made should be honored. If my daughter was suppose to be there earlier in the day, it should have been stated on the instructions I was given when I received it t in the mail. The gas, money, and wasted time. The worker Marina showed no empathy. A waste of my families time on now I’m back on the road for my 2 and a half hour drive.
The directions are awful and have you circling the area. It's beside the ER entrance for outpatient radiology services
Novant Health Radiology at Presbyterian Medical Center is located inside the hospital. Although it is inside the hospital, it also provides outpatient imaging services from CT scans, MRIs, wide open-bore MRIs, mammography, diagnostic x-rays, PET scans and osteoporosis screenings (DEXA scans). They’re open seven days a week which makes it much easier for working people to get imaging done.
The staff here was amazing in my experience here today. I truly felt supported in the procedure I had and that all my questions and concerns were addressed. My appointment stayed on course time wise though they were slightly behind they communicated the short delay which was wonderful in comparison to hospitals who fall behind and give you no updates. Additionally the hospital was very clean and up kept. The only stressful part of this visit was the parking garage not being labeled clearly as to where I needed to go once parked, but that is the only area for improvement in my opinion.
Overall not bad experience with very nice, and helpful staff. Little difficult getting in with some construction. I would strongly suggest scheduling at late evening hours. Mine was 8:00pm and was finished within 45min. Also better priced that other imaging centers around town.
