A stark reminder of a past tragedy, the Holocaust Memorial was a respectable tribute to what had happened. The sculpture itself is...morbid given its shape but what it is dedicated to, bit very well kept and whoever made it deserves all the praise in the world. I've seen some complaints about the area surrounding the Memorial and they are valid but the day I went it was cleaned up and no one bothered me. Seeing it fir free was nice to, something I can never complain about. I don't have much else to say, the Holocaust Memorial made me sad but I'm glad it's there for all to see.

Pictures and video are of the Memorial itself and surrounding area.

Beautiful and tragic. Whenever I think of the Holocaust memorial I just get really emotional. I feel my culture was attacked and as much as the world tried to snuff the Jewish culture from society from the Earth my people's spirits continue to push forward.

Its one of the most symbolic/emotionally vexing of all the exibits ive visited, not only due to an franks story or my heritage, but of the deeply disturbing nature of a ara in history i pray the collective consensus remembers /learns from the mistakes their of.
We must remember the past, or we are destined to repeat it.
The statue looks like people on fire flames of hell ...it really speaks to you in such a way the irony is uncanny.

Interesting, thought-provoking exhibit. They need to clean it up, though, especially the RR tracks at the end.
I stumbled on this while on a lunch break walk. It's a beautiful and peaceful spot but also very timely to highlight a spot like this. I love discovering this city.
