These classes are geared to small groups so that you get a lot of one-on-one interaction to help you through whichever craft you are doing. Amy and her experts are engaging and teach with care & respect. I have gone to numerous classes and am always looking to see what new crafts she adds to the calendar. I also like that you can repeat a class and, by bringing in your supplies previously purchased, get a discounted rate.
I attended an intro to printmaking class and it was so much fun! The teacher was excellent and gave the right amount of instruction with plenty of room for personal creativity. All the supplies were provided which made it really easy to get into the crafting. Overall it was a very inspiring yet relaxing evening! Would definitely take another class here.
We saw the play 'Educating Rita'.! It was great. It was on one they small stages. But that is what made it even better. A 2 person play. The actor and actress were phenomenal. It felt intimate and personal being so close to these wonderful actors.
Beautiful meditation event here with Gen-la Kelsang Jampa of the New Kadampa Tradition, who holds classes locally .
In this world of so much struggle and pain , meditations on real love were inspiring to hear and simple to put into practice.
Somehow, during the breathing meditation, the whole hall of people felt magically transported to a new peaceful place.

Came to see Till Death Do Us Part You First. We had the lower cost seats in the right loge area, which were great seats! Nice theatre, funny show!
I’ve celebrated a birthday here and have taken a class… both experiences were wonderful! Amy is truly wonderful to work with and to learn from! I’m excited to continue to take classes.
Thanks for the Memories: A Gay Christmas Carol ❤️ thank you so much for Everything 🙏
I haven't been in the Herberger in many years. My wife and I went to see "cooking with the calamari sisters". It was hilarious and the ambiance of this historic theater was a great accompaniment. There are many good shows coming up, so I hope to return soon.
Took the grands to see Rudolph and it didn't disappoint, the kids had a great time. We sat in the front row balcony and it was perfect. Beautiful theater!
Wonder place for an intimate show!!!
Great experience, nice seats. Even the 'nosebleed' section has a great view of the stage. Seats are a little close together for a larger sized person but not as bad as at large sports events.

Will definitely see other shows here!
The facility itself is old. I first work plays there back in the late 80's. Phoenix Parks and Rec. have been working hard on improvements over the years and it has come a long way. Staff is very nice and highly skilled.
Great little theater. They need more bar staff when running an event... just saying, 100's of people, 2 bars, 2 bartenders? Saw the Empire Strips Back - really great show, and every seat in the house is awesome! Close parking @ Ace Parking and dinner at Huss Brewery right across the street. Very covenient.
An intimate space to experience great Art.
They also have awesome art classes too.
Please check it out.
This is my reply to the Center's response. Let me tell you how Camryn should have handled the situation. She should have learned our names and asked why we were there. She would have learned that we were invited by an Alexandria, who works for Camryn in some capacity, to play music for the reopening. She would have also learned that the chocolate was a donation to the Center so they could sell it and raise money. Not for us to sell it. If she had taken one minute to talk to us and understand the situation instead of jumping to conclusions it wouldn't have a left such a bitter taste in my mouth.

Drove 50 miles RT to help with their grand reopening and had a unpleasant run in with the manager Camryn. She has "authority" as she so arrogantly said but doesn't have control over the people that work for her who her telling us what to do. Needless to say I won't be supporting them in anyway in the future unless Camryn is replaced.

The Paint Pouring workshop in December was so much fun! Amy was great at explaining the process and all the supplies were included. The other students were friendly and we all had a great time chatting while we crafted. Coming back with a friend soon for another workshop!

I just took the intro to embroidery class. Amy is a wonderful instructor! She’s kind and patient and the class moved at the perfect pace. The studio is open and airy but still cozy. The class was a great value and when I left I felt like I could tackle the take home kit. I can’t wait to try another craft!

I absolutely LOVED the macrame workshop. The opportunity to step away from work/screen-life and CREATE something with my hands was priceless. Amy was an incredible instructor, and the class was full of good vibes. I look at my finished piece and think: "I can't believe I MADE that—in under 4 hours, no less!" I'm excited to attend more workshops!

I met Amy at a fair and bought one of her craft kits. I was so excited. I LOVE to craft and have been looking for classes and community. My main craft is macrame and Sunshine Craft Co luckily had a class coming up. The class was amazing. She was so patient and is a great instructor. I didn't feel rushed and she kept running around to help anyone who needed it. Then I went to her craft n mingle community craft night. People bought various crafts to work on and hangout. I met some amazing people and got great work done. I am so happy this business exist. I will be going to all the classes I can and I'm happy I have found a community.
I went today, but DUE TO COVID, no exhibit.

I asked the staff today, he said this is "Free of Charge". The exhibition never charged for ticket.....too many homeless sleep every corner outside of the building.
Telling all my friends about this place! Such a cool idea. My friend and I had a blast! Amy is an amazing instructor. Her friendly and encouraging demeanor made the class even more enjoyable. Can’t wait to take another class!

I recently took my first class at Milkweed Arts. Very well done. The class content, the training space, and accommodations were all top notch. I will definitely consider another class here. Warren works hard at his business and it shows.

I have taken several classes at Milkweed Arts and have really enjoyed them all! From wood turning, to fused glass, and even soldering jewelry, the wide variety of classes I have taken here have been very well organized. The instructors are all very competent, both in house (Warren) as well as guest instructors. I've really been impressed with the quality of the classes here.

There is a well stocked retail store with Bullseye glass and frits, stained glass supplies, and even wooden pen blanks for using a lathe. The prices are quite reasonable too!

I really enjoy going to Milkweed Arts. It's a clean, well organized facility. There is art throughout the lobby and in the classrooms for inspiration and enjoyment. It's a great place to get the creative juices flowing!

HIghly recommend taking glass fusion classes with Milkweed Arts. I rarely review my experiences with anything online, but Milkweed Arts has been a major highlight in my year thus far. The classes are informative and casual. Absolutely no experience is needed to create beautiful glass objects and art.
Went to see "Voices of the Desert" perform and it was wonderful. They are a very fun, talented group.
We run a yearly film festival out of the third street theater and were happy with the venue, plus the area has improved over the last year and that is nice to see.

I have been a glass artisan creating in several forms of glass for over 25 years. I recently took a class at Milkweed Arts with Lois Manno.on Glass Clay Sculpting and was wonderful.
The facility was clean and organized with excellent help from the staff. All the student tools and supplies were ready for our use. I felt that both Lois and the Milkweed staff went out of their way to be accommodated and friendly. I would highly recommend most any class that is offered.

Milkweeds Arts is a most welcoming place for artists of all levels of experience. Warren is a most gracious host, teacher and glass artist. Milkweeds is the place to hone your skills, meet fellow glass enthusiasts and buy the glass and tools needed to create your own most cherished work. Classes are available for all levels, creativity is welcome and you will enjoy the company of others each along his or her own journey. Milkweeds is my most favorite place to be, to work, to create and to learn. Everyone is welcome.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every class that I have taken at Milkweed Arts over the last three years. Each of the classes builds on skills learned in previous classes. The instructors are all knowledgeable and friendly and make the experience easy to enjoy. Prices for classes and products are easily affordable. I have also enjoyed getting to know the students that have been in classes with me. Overall, I highly recommend Milkweed Arts for all students--beginners to very experienced!
I volunteered here and I loved it! The environment is very welcoming and the children are always engaged in the classroom/ group activities. Its a great place to send your kids and family members during summer break to experience hands on learning in and out of the classroom.
