Best pet store in Malvern ✨

In my opinion staff is friendly, yes but some of the poor fish are kept in small tiny jars in dirty water that is not cleaned. My daughter bought 2 Chinese fighting fish from Pets and Aquarium 4 days ago. They ended up having ammonia poisoning from not being in clean water when they was there.
Extremely disappointed.

Thanks to Ruepets for their amazing service. My fur babies love their cat tree and spend many hours just chilling as high up as they can get. I use cat nip to draw them to the tree, their snuffle mats and balls are always clean and smelling good. A healthy fur baby is a happy fur baby.

A nice selection of budgies, cockatiels, lovebirds and fish that were decently priced. They have a wide range of pet supplies and ample parking as they are conveniently located near the Crescent Mall. The staff were friendly however i feel like the service could be improved and hope they will increase their variety of pets available.

Small but helpful staff whom have a good product knowledge. Plenty of dogs toys and three different coloured sand for lizards. Plenty to parking near shop.

Advertises that they close at 3pm. Arrived at 2.33pm to everything locked up. Very frustrating!

Was looking for a birthday present for my son and came across this quaint shop in malvern. Looks can be deceiving as inside it is well stocked with pets and supplies. The staff was so helpful. He showed me all the different options set up the cage and answered my million questions. Defiantly going to be my stop now for all pet supplies.

What warmed my heart about this pet shop is seeing a fishtank with a sign saying "Not for Sale, fish being treated" something you dont see in chain pet shops. Ended up buying my hooded baby rat from there and a whole bunch of other stuff. Will definitely support again.

I went to this store this morning to get prices on a hamster, cage, food, wood chips, treats, water bottle and everything that I needed to buy my grandson as he has been asking for one for some time. I was told that if I pay cash that I would get a nice discount, the price of the accessories after the dis count was R1000. 00 and I was happy with the discount of +_ R150. 00 but my grandchild wanted to go and look at another pet shop so off we went. He found a cage that he liked also a double story with the tube and it was R300.00 cheaper and had a water bottle so we bought it for him. I told him that we would go back to pets and aquarium to buy the hamster the food and all the other accessories. When my wife got there and put all the things that we needed on the counter and wanted to pay she was asked do we have something to put the hamster in, my grandchild said yes he has a cage and came to the car to collect it as I stayed at the car to have a smoke. Can you believe this when he took the cage in my wife was asked how much she payed for it, witch she replied R350. 00 she was then told that the hamster was only sold in a kit due to the shortage of hamsters, whan she told me this I went to go and speak to the people inside the pet shop and said to them that nobody told me or my wife that the hamsters was sold as a kit and there was no sign in the shop that indecated that and asked the person behind the counter to sell me my goods witch he refused. My grandson was very upset but we left. Thanks to Northern pet's in Springfield who accommodated us with all that we needed and my grandchild is now happy.

This Pet store is well stocked. With Pet Products and more. The service is Friendly and efficient. Loads of Parking. Petland is a expensive Store. I've found MOST products for way cheaper elsewhere. What I find disgusting about this store is all the birds couped up together. They are clearly in distress and not happy. More disturbing is they sell live mammals like Bunnies which just ends up being dumped or discarded. Their Tropical and Gold Fish selection is good as well as water plants.
