Did an art walk . We have some very talented artists in our area.
Beautiful theater with ample seating for a smaller stage. Performance was good - not traveling Broadway good, but for that size theater company and orchestra, this theater worked just fine. Would go to see another performance here!
This is a great space for what we did. They have thought-provoking and beautiful art too.

This place is awesome! I tell everyone I know about it because surprisingly, a lot of people have no idea what it is or where it’s at. I stop in pretty often to check out the new art exhibits and in February I’m going to see The SteelDrivers! Im thankful to have a cool place like this in Spartanburg.
Drove a long way to see the current exhibit on Saturday when it was supposed to be open but no one could tell me why the door to the exhibit was locked. Never got an answer. Hesitate to drive that far again. Always enjoy visiting but this experience will make me think twice about visiting again. Very disappointed.
Every show I have been to so far at Chapman Cultural Center has been NEXT LEVEL amazing! Who knew Spartanburg had so much local talent! You can feel how much heart and soul goes into every performance, whether from the Little Theatre or the Youth Theater.

I have been here twice, both times for a child’s birthday party. Great atmosphere, the place has a lot of charm. They were easy to work with and had great options for younger children also.
Small yet worthwhile of a visit.
Awful. The lady who owns this place is Super rude! She literally told my wife to hush today while she was talking to our son. And then I trucked her to be quiet while she asked my son a question. Which he’d already answered her several times she just could hear him. Then proceeded to tell my wife that “parents these days just can’t parent, and she was a school teacher so we should take her advice”. What a joke. She clearly needs to get her life together. Maybe some therapy. Awful establishment. Zero stars if that’s an option

A wonderful resource for Spartanburg
Nice, intimate theatre in the center of Spartanburg. Saw Rocky Horror from the balcony. Nice seats but doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house.
Spartanburg Art Museum and The Chapman Center have been in my daughter’s life for many years. The classes and art events are wonderful. The instructors and staff are very professional, kind, and encouraging. My family is thankful to have a place where art is still valued.
Very clean. Wonderful art work. It's great that they include work from Elementary, Middle, and High School children.
A perfect place to explore arts, science, culture and humanities...the museum is Free and open to the public. It is adjacent to Barnett Park and provides a respite from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Spartanburg.
This was a fun find. There were a few interactive pieces. If you have kids, there was an area for them to participate as well.
First visit was to see the Spartanburg Ballet present The Great Gatsby. We really enjoyed the performance as well as the the Theater. The seats and rows were extremely close together but over all I loved it.
I remember when you first started it, it has come a LONG way! I love you aunt leta.
My group and I have visited this fine establishment a couple of times and do intend on making this a regular event on our "Girls night out!" We always have a fun time!!! We laugh and entertain our artistic side at the same time. Most of us are armatures, but the staff is always very helpful and the end results make me look like a pro!!! I love spending an evening with these lovely ladies after a long day at work and I promise you, YOU will have a wonderful experience!

This was just fun. Not like taking a class. Some good friends, wine, your own creativity, and some pointers. Atmosphere is really relaxed. I would definitely go back again.
