I have enjoyed working with Lighthouse Lab Services over the years. Our clients have used their consulting services for lab consulting, recruiting, lab director services, LIS, revenue cycle and for help obtaining insurance contracts. I would recommend them to established labs or to those entering the industry.
Hey Neil, I just wanted to let you know that your “Orders Team” is second to none! Please pass this on to their management team…we are so thankful for their efforts.

All too many times clients are quick to reach out when things go wrong and when things go great it’s just expected and rarely noticed so I wanted to let you know Chris Simmerman and Justin Malloy have consistently been on top of their game and satisfied many of our ‘near deadline’ order requests to ensure our continued workflow and success. They really have helped out in so many circumstances that I just wanted to let you know how great they are. I thought they should be recognized, along with all the other’s that support them behind the scenes with whom I rarely communicate.

I personally want to say thank you for all the Lighthouse Team does for us on a daily basis, appreciate it very much!

Have a great weekend!

Initially it will feel like you work for a great, people-focused company, one that has navigated the pandemic in a supportive manner. Communication, helping one another, and growth opportunity can all be found here. And when someone tells you these things, you want to believe them. You want to trust that they’ll follow through and that they have the ENTIRE organization’s best interests at heart. Lighthouse management lacks respect for their team and are unable to grow and change. They aren’t committed to doing the internal work required to change deeply ingrained behavior patterns, they won’t change—no matter how often they say they will. They even have a thirsty Thursday once a month for an hour. Which again sounds nice. But its just a band aid of an experience to gaslight their employees from realizing they are being made to work harder and not smarter. They also limit your PTO opportunities by only allowing a max of two people out on a single day.

When I was hired, I was told that our team thrives on communication. That was very shortly lived or perhaps the reality is that it never existed to begin with. The leaders at Lighthouse are selective communicators. When they say they are big on communication, it just means “we will schedule a time for you to talk but there will be no actions or changes made.” You will leave feeling uneasy for speaking up and treated as if you have wasted valuable company time. Keep in mind this is IF you were even given an opportunity to speak with management. They constantly will use PTO and time limits to avoid hearing your genuine concerns. In addition, the gossip culture behind the scenes is atrocious. There was a coworker who would stalk clients and other coworkers online. This person was held in high regard because of their “dirty intel”. Which I may add is in direct contrast to the HR sessions of HIPA and privacy protocol that we had to go through. This individual, while in a team meeting, blatantly shares their screen to show personal information about the techs we worked with. LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, etc. is all free game to this person. I chose to block this person on all accounts because of how viciously they went after these people. And I couldn’t even report it to my higher ups because they were on the call asking further questions and requests to show more photos and private details. It destroyed my faith in management and demolished any trust I had in my other colleagues.
GROWTH OPPORTUNITY. My monthly and quarterly meetings always ended with saying everything is fine with no real constructive feedback or comments. No criticisms. No complaints. Nothing negative. And at the end of each meeting I would always ask “what more can I do to advance in my knowledge/training” but would be met with a shrug and a promise of opportunity with an unknown future date. Prior to meeting with my new supervisor I sent over a list of questions I had for opportunities to advance my skills and career to the next step. But I was met with a prompt “I don’t have time to answer these. We can try and get to them next quarter.” He never scheduled a future date to discuss my questions. A clear indicator of Lighthouse’s lackluster approach to investing in their employee’s futures. They do not have any policies to protect and retain employees and will use any means necessary to throw people under the bus to retain the jobs of those higher up individuals.

EDIT: Yes I would love to speak with you. Where should I contact you?

Edit 2: Still no response or accountability from this organization. Never reached out to me either. The responses on google reviews seem to be just to save face.
Lighthouse Lab Services has been a great asset to my laboratory. We were unable to find a suitable Medical Director in our area and Lighthouse was able to connect us with an excellent candidate in only a few days. They also sourced an amazing Technical Supervisor for us. Highly recommended for any laboratory that is experiencing staffing shortages!
Pro: The company pays good
Con: The overall experience with lighthouse was a good experience, except this particular location. When I started my working experience it was not a welcoming environment from some of the employees, including leadership team members, and it was only towards African Americans. I understand the company was just starting with lighthouse, but I noticed how unprofessional & unorganized this location was performing. There was a clear lack of communication amongst managers. This translated to delayed and or absent disbursement of information to teammates.

There were weekly zoom calls that took place. However, pertinent information was not always effectively communicated to all team members. This gap in information disbursement didn't allow for everyone to be on the same page about important topics.

This also translated to loose and or no policies on basic things such as, proper patient identification on samples. The company even allowed running covid samples with no information on the tubes, and thats against the law. When I informed my supervisor, Tia Trivedi about it. Her response was that it was okay we can still run them. I said okay, but just send me a email, which I still have. She took it upon herself to tell HR that I was telling her that I didn't want to run the samples at all, and not follow instructions, and was terminated the next week.
I do thank Rondi for her timely response over Valentine's day weekend.

I had initially reached out regarding their direct to consumer laboratory testing.
-
After calling, emailing and Tom being late to our meeting he seemed very bothered by time on our call.
-
No one should be treated this way.
Unprofessional & dismissive is how I was treated by the team at Light House Lab Services.

Wouldn't recommend for any compnay looking for lab support.
My lab just finished the validation of a Turn-Key Covid-19 lab using Lighthouse Lab Services. We had a great experience and are looking forward to future projects as we grow. They assisted with everything from finding equipment, supplies, validation and training. I highly recommended them.
I had the pleasure of attending a seminar hosted by Jon and Chris Harol of Lighthouse Recruiting at a regional laboratory tech conference several years ago. They had excellent advice for modernizing your CV for today's job market. While I have not yet needed Lighthouse Recruiting for career services yet, I would be happy to work with them, and I have recommended them to countless others by way of their Facebook group and webpage. Thank you for all that you do!
