This place is the home of the museum of contemporary art. Really great place to visit. Admission is free and there is a public bus stop crack to the centre
This place was actually one of my very favourite places we visited in Seville. It is so cool, and incredibly low cost to enter (1.80EUR). There are modern art installations and the old monastry itself is very interesting, and the contrast is fascinating. Highly recommend!
It says it’s open but after a half an hour walk was told to come back on Tuesday (as though tourist stays in Sevilla forever) - if you’re closed maybe say you’re closed and don’t waste our time
Okay, the place is gorgeous. The modern art is so out of place. Very odd experience.
Por fin pude encontrarlo abierto... Domingos a las 9:45 antes de la misa. La Iglesia es preciosa. Merece mucho la pena
Beautiful church. We were let in for 10 mins as it was too near prayer time. Didn’t see any baking unfortunately
An unique and fascinating space that presents history, religion, art and architecture all in one place. It is somewhat on the off beaten path but it’s a nice walk that is totally worth it.
I was surprised by how good this place is and only one euro eighty to enter. It's a bit of a walk to get there but it has a bar to grab a drink and a cool interior that is very tranquil and calming as you might expect. It makes for a surprisingly good art gallery as well, all included in the entrance fee.
Very lovely place , we had the chance to visit during our stay in Sevilha, the place is beautiful so as the arquitecture, we didn't liked the current exhibition, but to each their own, art is art
So this is now the andalucian museum of modern art, a little bit of a hike from Triana Bridge, not really worth getting the bus or taxi but if you have a bike then I would use that. The tickets are quite cheap however there did not appear to be much to see, just 7 or so pieces in the Eglise as far as we could tell. No idea if it was possible to get to the cloisters area (or any other areas) where there might have been more exhibits. Feeling that there could have been much more work on display and a wasted opportunity IMHO. Nice little cafe on site with helpful staff. Extensive grounds with nobody there!!
Beautiful convent and art. Everybody we spoke to was really nice and the tocino de Cielo were delicious :)
We were so disappointed to not be let in.The website, the local tourist office, the guidebook and the note on the door outside said it would be open from 5. We walked for over an hour to find the Convent and were surprised and really disheartened to be told by the nun who opened the door, that no visit could take place even though we were well within the stated opening hours. No explanation ( or indeed apology) was given. We will not get another chance to see the Convent sadly.Completely understand if circumstances meant not open that day but if you have a website the information should reflect this .
Definitely a hidden gem! Frescos aside, it was built in 1248! More important than I thought. We arrived during the posted afternoon opening hours in August yet the gate was closed. Determined to see it or find out why this frustration happened again (as it really is the norm in Sevilla during the August…), we rang the doorbell and called the phone number seen in google map. Then the miracle happened! The kind sister who doesn’t speak English managed to understand me and opened the doors for us. From our later struggled conversation I guess it was closed because of the extreme heat? It was 3 euros for adults and free for children. (Tip: if you don’t understand Spanish at all, press 2 after the recording during the phone call.)
Cute convent with a few religious arts to see. The access to the church is through a door outside the convent and opened by an employee.
Lovely, decorated church full of art works. Ring the bell and one of the nuns will let you in. They were all very kind and tolerated my very limited Spanish! Entry is €5.
Bought some jams from this monastery. They are really helpful and friendly.
Their jams are amazing, highly recommended

Severely disappointing. Billed as a contemporary art museum, it isn't. Some poorly curated works by unknown Spanish cartoon book artists, a film about paintings in Amazonia by a British Naturalist and other random elements do not constitute a contemporary art centre. The building is amazing - an old monastery, converted in the 19th century to a tile factory, with the two opposing but somehow complementary architectural vernaculars. The gardens could be amazing- actually, they're sadly very neglected. At least it was free!
Absolutely loved the serenity of this place and whilst this sounds cliche, you can truly taste the love put in by the nuns into every sweets they make!
Dont miss it. Ring the bell and a nun will open the door
The exquisitely simple beauty of this monastery is awe-inspiring. This simple beauty forms a timeless background for the fleeting quality of the contemporary art museum housed in the monastery. There is a small restaurant on the grounds. Entrance fee was €1,80 (in early April 2019). Parking on the street.
Came here just for the biscuits and man are they good! Is hard for me not to curse while describing how delicious but will resist the urge.
Beautiful place. It’s amazing how many great hidden gems there are in Seville. This is one of them. Just a stunning place. Well worth the 4 Euros
Really enjoying this place. Free on Saturdays. Not that many tourists. The Contemporary Arts Museum has some gloriously strange stuff but it’s worth a repeat visit as the art work changes all the time. There is also live music events - lots of Jazz etc. When we went there was a great live feminist music festival - very cool vibe
Hidden (if you can say that) in the oldest most congested part of Seville. Beautiful. Incredible little chapel with a peaceful garden. The fruit jam sold in the gift shop was the best I've ever had. The nuns and staff are some of the most genuine I've ever experienced. I've been to convents throughout Italy, Spain and Portugal; this is probably my favorite.
Amazing place, amazing pastel! €7 for one box maybe is a little bit expensive than usual, but it is definitely worthy! Highly recommend!! Amazing experience!!
