Terrible management, don’t work here
Working for boars head is the worst and the most unprofessional job I’ve ever had they hired two junkies, they’re always short staffed and expect you to put in so much work to compromise for them being short staffed,the manager lives out of state she’s rude disrespectful and talk to us like we’re kids all she do is complain and keep hiring junkies and she keep changing employees days off she don’t ask she just change it that’s against the law something has to give boars head is a mess fyi the new lead like to drink alcohol on the job…
They need to rethink they check in process, more than an hour wait until the guy finds you in a spreadsheet and retypes all the stuff that you write on paper. Cmon it’s 2023, ALDI you can use special warehouse software and make everyone’s life easier. And hire another guard check company.
My experience for delivery was good, absolutely 5 star service. My appt. was at 2 am early morning, checked in at 12, got dock at same time, offloaded by 1 and got paperwork by 2. After delivery i did my 10 hr reset on their premises. So had no issues with overnight parking.
Not too bad clean facility. I wouldn't advise coming to early because there is nowhere to park outside DC. Checked in 315 am docked right away and out by 5. No Overnight parking. Truck stop near (Rutters) but only about 20 spots.
Stupid dc laws. They schedule you at 2am but you can’t arrive early and there’s no overnight parking and they threaten you if you sleep on their lot to be banned and reject yr delivery. No wonder why some drivers are falling asleep behind the wheel! If y’all don’t want people sleeping on your lot, don’t schedule their appointments in the middle of the night! The bigger these businesses get, the dumber they get!
The guard shack is ridiculous for ever to check in and they made me surrender my driver license which I tried to not allow but my option was surrender or they would refuse load. Lumper girl was rude too 2 hours for 5 pallets all same product from thier new warehouse in North Hampton pa.
Very organized, lots of room to navigate the docks etc. Paperwork takes HOURS to obtain once trailer is unloaded. There's gotta be a faster was to get drivers out. Also, if you need to do a 10 hr break, go to Rutters or WAL-MART, closest Truck Stop is 40 miles away.
I checked in at 12 for a 1am appointment. Got through gate in 30 minutes and was unloaded and had paperwork at 3:30. People were pleasant. All in all not bad . I was expecting worse after reading other reviews
This place has gotten better over the years usually out within 2 hours. Line in the front can be crazy though come around 10:30-11pm even if your appointment is for 1-3am they will check you in a door. Have your ID ready and there are clip boards by the guard shack with two papers to fill out, give it to the guard along with BOL & ID . Once backed in door walk to door 45 with the key pass they give you and give lumper paper work and wait for phone call.

Absolutely the worst Aldi I have ever delivered to. Over an hour to get processed at the gate. Get a door get unloaded pretty quickly but they never unlocked me.they call say paperwork is ready but can't seem to get anyone to unlock me!
Ok imma give it 5 for these simple reasons. I read the reviews so I got here at 5 pm for 11pm appt. They were very friendly and they had me come back at 7:30

Trust me when I say this place gets packed.
Once I got back at 7:39 they had me stay in my truck till 9 pm then they called us in order with our doors!! Mine was 96 you check in at door 84 with the key pass they give you.
I can’t stress enough get here very early they’ve already started on mine but you all know How DC’S can be.

No joke get here early at night. It took me almost three hours to get to the gate. They do keep your license but I had no issues getting it back. Once you're in the process is pretty smooth. Easy backing and if you pay your lumper fee through the link they text you, your paperwork will be ready pretty quick. You can't overnight but I did take my sweet time doing paperwork and setting up my next load and no one said anything to me.

truck drivers if u come to this place u'll be stuck for hours my truck is there 6 h not empty yet and u cant talk to them or call them

I had nothing but great experience Delivering. Very professional stuff,fast check in and even faster the unloading process. What may hold you for an hour or two i believe is the lumper service and that alone causes the hectic traffic and shortage of parking in their property because most drivers are there waiting for the papers so whenever you are done unloading just park wherever as long you are safe from the traffic and not blocking a fellow driver they won't bother you
