Staff and Management Team have been excellent. My sister is very pleased with the care and attention she has experienced.

Visited a friend’s mom and couldn’t have heard nicer things about the care she was receiving. Clean facility & friendly, available staff.

My mother was here and I believe the physical therapist the care coordinator., The social workers are very nice too. The staffing were all wonderful and treated her very well.

Great place for elderly care the staff is excellent. They are always there to answer questions about your family members needs.

Totally appalling, this place was court ordered to make a "rest of a life" decision on placement for a resident. They were told to do a proper evaluation and make a recommendation - THEY CHOSE NOT TO DO WHAT THEY WERE COURT ORDERED TO DO. The poor probate judge wasted her time, the courts time and many attorneys time because they thought it was the right thing to do - to send an inexperienced social worker with no medical background to represent this facility. This woman had been in her job for less than two months and she was an embarrassment to the profession. AND SHAME on this facility's ownership to allow this to happen. This is a persons life we are talking about and they just didn't seem to care nor want to be bothered. They expressed they were tired of answering (an older person with dementia) their questions. ZERO LOVE AND ZERO COMPASSION. I wouldn't send my dog there!

I had the most awful experience, not as a patient/family but as a business owner in the community. I made an appointment to meet with an employee in the business office. She was a relatively new employee.
In the middle of the scheduled meeting the Administrator barged in and asked if I had an appointment. I said yes of course and as I was trying to explain further she immediately cut me off. Then she proceeded to ask her subordinate while berating both of us in public, if she was embarrassed? She said “I’m embarrassing you aren’t I”? Then she said, “we have a company that does this for us so you’re done here. You’re done here” That was directed at me.
Honestly I’ve been a business owner/health care executive in the community for over 20 years and never met anyone so unprofessional and inappropriate. I felt terrible for the employee. It felt like she was verbally assaulting the both of us! Anyone who works in health care should never be allowed to act like this, so rudely and inappropriate particularly in public.

Dad came to Skyview while all the Covid craziness was happening. My sisters and I live out of state which made us nervous but the case worker at Midstate Hospital recommended Skyview. We are so thankful to them for that! Dad recovered so nicely and the team at Skyview kept us informed the entire time. We did virtual visits with Dad and he was always happy and smiling. We were honestly blown away by the level of care and compassion the entire team at Skyview had. They were such a blessing. We are forever grateful! Kudos to you all!

The 2 stars are for the Nurses and aids as everything else could be a whole lot better. The picture is deceiving. This building needs a major upgrade. The many years my mom has lived in this facility she has been relocated from room to room. One room the window leaked onto her bed. There were ants crawling across her bed in another room. Understandably not all patients will get along but if you move someone into a room with a resident who has been in the room and settled well why move that resident. Shouldn’t the new roommate be relocated! Through the years I’ve discussed many matters in conferences and nothing changes. The administrative staff is always changing but recently it has come to my knowledge that the staff rotates between another nursing home so this under new management is a joke as the directors of these two facilities are brothers who just swapped places. I had moved my mom from the other facility to a better one so I thought. Atleast the caregivers are better in this facility where the other one the nurse told my mom and her roommate that she couldn’t wait for the both of them to die! I wish my mom was capable to live under my care but i’ve tried twice so now I have to rely on those who are supposed to care for my mom, who I so dearly love, and I feel like it’s not happening at this facility either. Maybe by posting this something will improve.
