Top Thrift stores in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada

I went here with friends earlier, I was looking at some items alone when the owner grabbed my arm suddenly and tightly (which is assault) and hissed at me "these international people think everything is for them!" The remainder of the short time spent in here was extremely uncomfortable, especially since one of my friends i was with is an international student here. Sure, the selection was pretty cool, but its NEVER ok to abruptly and aggressively grab a disabled persons arm as they are trying to shop and say such racist things! I understand that this is a store for those in need and university students can and are very much in need and are in tight financial situations so stores like this are deeply appreciated in the community but not when they're racist.

Such a shame there's still people like this in the day and age we live in.

Wonderful staff that takes care of their customers. Prices of merchandise is reasonably prices and displayed. Also a wide range of merchandise

Great store for interesting used items. They are in good condition. Bought lamps here that work perfectly. The store also supports the elderly in the community.

It was a good experience for the most part . I just felt that staff could be a little more interactive with their clients. I plan to go back and see what they have to offer this time .

This by far the most amazing thrift store in the city. They support arch! Bought myself a nifty little deep fryer there for a whole $5!
