I was surprised to see such a vast display of all kinds of good it's worth a walk around this store I found a couple of items that I taught were not available these days and when I couldn't find a particular item I was approach by a young member of staff who was happy to help ,10 out of 10 well done

I’m alone, woman and I was sitting in your parking lot after having just shopped in your store. One of your employees, I believe the gentleman who stands at the door as a security, decided to come over to me, knock on my window while I was in my car and lecture me about not taking the cart back inside the store. I explained to him that I didn’t do so, and left it just outside the door, because there were people right in front of the door and I couldn’t get through them. He proceeded to beleaguer his position and waxed on about his boss scolding him for not bringing carts back into the store. I explained it wasn’t my problem. This entire exchange took way too long, and it was in my estimation because he could not be bothered to do his job. People will leave carts in the parking lot. That’s the way it is if you own a retail store. If you don’t want people to leave them in the parking lot get the coin operated carts. Refrain from giving your employees carte blanche to accost your customers while in their vehicles. I won’t be back. I would rather take my business elsewhere than run the risk of another confrontation.

The new design of Dealz adds a more modern feel to it. It’s a much needed improvement and it created a nicer shopping experience. Has a wide variety of cheap and useful household items, also has a selection of clothes too. Only downside to the new refurbishment is taking away the self checkout machines. Would’ve been nice if they have kept at least one self checkout as at times there is only one staff at the till. Secondly, if there’s no plans to open the back door as the entrance, should be easier to access that section rather than having to walk the length of the store and back just to get one/two items.

Great staff served with a smile can't ask for more.

Only two self-service checkouts were available for use with the others all having their covers lifted up to reveal their internal workings.

I bought a packet of munchies and when I got home I discovered a hole in the bag and I found that they had taped the bag I am very annoyed about this !!!!!

This store has UNBELIEVABLE offers but I have to say my visit there that will make me return are your staff. I especially would like to mention Frances and Sharon. Their kindness and respect is so sadly lacking in other retail stores. It felt like a local shop. Thank you both so much again. See you soon again. 👍🙂👏

Used to sell cheap rubber johnnies here but not any more. Pity, only 1.50 for 12 johnnies, bit of a stretch though all the same.....

Similar to Dollar shops in USA, this place has a lot of cheap items. Currently was full of Halloween stuff, but ot is worth visit for many items. I used to buy kitchen utensils, toothpaste, EU plug adapters, and recently found out that they have vacuum bags for clothes of smaller size, perfect for hand luggage.
On last visit, personnel on tills was so fast and polite, I could not believe. Thumbs up. I thought I will wait for half a hour, but it took only minutes to be served. This was not always the case, but my compliments to employees.

All the staff friendly and helpful. Don't agree with self service checkouts. Never use them!

I'm really impressed with this Dealz. It's well laid out and stocks a huge range of items.

The Athlone store needs to improve its product range and staff training levels to match the stores in say Mullingar or longford

Please check the date of expiration of all eatables/chocolates before buying. I have seen and infact was about to buy some which were up for sale but had crossed the expiry date.

Friendly staff lots of different bits and bobs. A good one stop shop for any occasion. Plenty of bargains to be had in here.
