Prices based off of most-recent sales on TCGPlayer. Not a bad system, but a little slow. Focus is obviously on comics, so thats okay. The shop has a huge collection of comics, all good condition right off the shelf, so they clearly take great care of their stock. Calm environment, decent staff.

Good place. Mostly friendly and warm staff. Not always the most cheerful, depending on who's working that day, but they're more hit than miss. I get what I came for and that's what counts.

I love this comic shop! As a collector of trade paperbacks, deluxe edition hardcovers, and omni's, the selection at this location is amazing. They have an entire wall of shelves with one of the best selections I have ever seen.

Their selection of back issues and collectables is also really good and I always have a great time browsing their comics when I go. Highly recommend to any comic book collector looking for a good place to shop.

I tried to give this place a couple of tries I really did. Calling on the phone to ask for something disinterested in helping you. Come in in person lots of attitude. Not really an interest in helping you. Final straw for me. Trying to sell them some items. They look through them said nothing was really worth anything. But they would do me a favor and offered me a really insulting amount. One of those items they kept looking at over and over again so when I got home. I looked up that 1 online. And it was worth hundreds. Only reason I'm not giving a one. Star is because their inventory is actually pretty decent and. There's one female staff member that actually tries to be helpful.

Awesome store. There are so many back issue comics. This store had so much to offer. Very friendly staff. The staff were helpful with my questions. I am not from that area and just stopped by with my grandson. I wish there was one of these stores where I live. I definitely would like to visit again when I am in the area.

I love this comic shop. After I went to my previous shop for over 20 years, it was hard to choose a new one when they closed. This place is awesome. They have all the releases every Wednesday, and you can order in advance on their app. They have lots of back issues and can order anything you're looking for from their warehouse. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable on a wide range of nerdisms, from comics and anime to card and tabletop games. I highly recommend this place. It will probably be my comic shop for the next 20 years.

I am fortunate to have Phoenix in my work territory. There's a lot under the hood (and occasionally in the hood!) in this town, and one of that lot is certainly Samurai Comics. I only get to visit them once, maybe twice a year but their people are always awesome: fellow nerds who get it, you know? They understand the obsessions. Their back issues are well alphabetized, with the heavy duty drawer system something I pray every comic shop can get into someday: it makes life so much easier. So many great comic shops are let down by disarray, poor organization, and a complete unwillingness to make it a positive experience to do the back issue dive. I'm all for looking through long boxes but making me dig through everything is just unbearable. Kudos to Samurai for getting this right. They have a ton of Funko for the Funko inclined, a reasonable level of manga... And they certainly appear to support the local card buffs quite well. Oh: and Gundam. I am not a model kid but for those of you that are, they certainly have your Gundam. They are not otherwise super toy heavy. No Transformers, past or present, as an example. Action figure geeks need not generally apply at this location. I cannot speak for the other two, as I have not been. The prices on their raw books are a tad high sometimes but, honestly, that's what it takes to keep a LCS up and running. I still spent my dollars. They're good peeps and we need more of their kind. If you're in the PHX, you owe yourself a visit. Be prepared for the mood lighting 😎
