Absolute rubbish company.
When you need to make a claim they just pass you around the houses and offer no help whatsoever.

I compared my landlords insurance and it was around £80 cheaper than reputed insurance companies via comparison site, but choose to go through the property quote direct and bought the insurance on 07/08/2023. Over a week later policy documents hence phoned but was advised will get it resend, which I never received hence rang again on 21/08/23 and I gave them two different email id’s still not received hence asked to send one via post which never received too. Rang on 05/09/23 and said what has been happening but the guy said as they system will shut down in 2 minutes will send it via email first thing in the mot and asked me to send a test email from my email which I did. 06/09/23 at 10:15 no sign of the policy document so rang again and this time the guy send it straight away. As it all feels bit sketchy rang my home emergency cover provider to see how f the policy was active, they don’t have a clue about my policy, as paid £419 for a landloards policy don’t want the policy not to cover when needed and as the property is let don’t want any issues so rang the legal and rent guarantee cover guys and guess what they don’t have a clue what so ever. Rang back and I was told legal cover starts after 60 days and emergency cover after 14days and we are on the 06/09/23 which is well over 14 days so the guy said will pass the details to emergency provider. Great to save £80 pound I have put my hand into some sort of fishy company. Quote was through property quote direct and the brockets are before insurance and the policy providers home insurance, and emergency cover, legal cover are provided by completely different companies who don’t have a clue about my policy. Will be making a complaint to FCA as not sure if the practices are legitimate and appropriate. My advise to any one is just buy through reputed companies, instead of saving you are risking everything and you will end up paying for a premium and to cancel you still loose money stating the policy is over 14 days but when you want to claim the policy is not active. I don’t get it.

The advisor really couldnt care less, gave the distinct impression that I was interupting his day, kept say I should visit the website. Obviously something more important than doing his job and providing quotes was in the way.

I emailed more than a week ago to cancel a policy and had no reply so I telephoned them and spoke to one of their team who barely seemed awake. I asked when they would be replying to my email and he said he did not know!
They need to cancel the policy and issue the refund but they are absolutely useless. Avoid at all costs.

Do not even think about going with this company! They are part of rightsure insurance services and they are a law to themselves! I can’t recommend going elsewhere enough!

Looks like there is only few people working for and get to them it's really difficult.
Anyway...
They sold to me van insurance policy. Next day they call and said I have to pay £650 extra on top of original £639... Im definitely refused, and they just charging me £90 fee fir nothing. Policy not even started yet, what about my rights? Did you heard about customer rights...
Looks like they just swindle people and if they do that to 100 or 1000 people a day... here you go, don't really need to do anything else, just keep charging a fees 7 days a week.

Have been on up until recently. Had to cancel a policy and they just keep telling me they have processed the refund. It hasn't arrived 2 weeks later and costing more in calls chasing it. They are not interested.

Would recommend Evergreen all day long, been with them for a few years now and they've been incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. As well as finding you the best insurance, a percentage goes to fantastic wildlife causes. It's a no brainer 😉

Avoid. I don't normally leave bad reviews, I try not to say anything if I don't have anything good to say. Policy was nothing in comparison to the competition. Whole experience felt like the customer is the enemy, to be treated with contempt, and to provide in the policy the absolute minimum required in every respect. Breakdown cover was unusually limited and couldn't be upgraded, would basically only help on the 7 sabath, in the 2nd full moon, when there was a k in the month. There are excessive charges at every possible point in the policy. Cancelled as I didn't feel comfortable once the documents came through (which u don't see before hand due to the web site being set up so u don't), they charge a £90 admin fee for ANY change to the policy, plus cancellation fee. In the end they charged £120 for 3 days on cover under a £220 policy. I'd rather pay it than stay with this bunch of crooks, I just dreaded the idea of what I'd have to deal with it I ever made a claim, I have no doubt what so ever they will try and get out of anything and pay u the absolute minimum possible. Won't be trying them again. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

AVOID! I've been a customer for 3 years now, but you only ever find out how good a company is when you actually need them, had an accident which is stressful enough, called to inform and was met with nothing but poor customer service, and bad attitudes! AVOID

Renewed my insurance with this company for the second time — which is rare these days. They made everything hassle free, were not pushy, and all documents came through as promised. Very pleased :-)

Excellent customer service. The price which included break down cover was extra bonus. I read reviews on other companies and it was exactly as described by people's experiences. I paid a little extra and got these guys to insure me, and then I realised that I was insured with motor quote direct previously for many years and was very happy with them. I am glad their prices have come down again a little so I can insure with them. 👍🏽

Very easy dealing with HomeQuote Direct. Had to call in a couple of times to get some details verified, but once I spoke to the correct department, this was handled promptly and efficiently.

Awful. Documents didn’t come through. Had to chase 5 times and each time call centre people sounded like they couldn’t care less. Advice is go with a name you recognise. They are big for a reason.

What I liked about Bedford Insurance they do not automatically mark your account with auto re insure. Other companies I have insured with try their hardest to get you on auto reinsurance after first year. Also spoke to a chap that had been there many years, good sign.
