Front desk young lady . Apparently she was in charge of the book at the front desk to make sure you write your name etc. She has zero skills for the job she was disrespectful, mean, unprofessional and really aggressive with 99.9 of the people. She felt she can scream at you talk to you like she was your mom. Respectfully she looked and acted unstable very uncomfortable to be there waiting for hours and listen to her unprofessional way to communicate. At one point I thought she was the daughter of Mr Mazorra bc she had a huge ego and attitude that sometimes is expected when people have a business. I would like to clarify Mr Mazorra is a gentleman even when the place is pack he behaves impecable. Please look for someone else for the front desk position she is young, tall, medium size, white woman. She is no capable to handle the front desk position.

I have been filing with Mazorra for about 10 years now and i was very satisfied and considered them as friends & family, they cared a lot and that's what kept me loyal, all the Mazorras were a gem. Unfortunately the past 2 years, the service level has went down drastically, the lack of clear communication and misunderstandings have cost me a lot with IRS and because of the new attitude the front desk has (i am shocked at the sudden switch of personality in a once pleasant and patient lady), i am SCARED to even go there and get this fixed. with a sad heart, i will have to go elsewhere.

2021 didn't include deductions. I had to pay IRS 6000.00 due to straight run and non-inclusive deductions. When I phoned and enquired a snarky, rude person, informed me that deductions didn't meet quotas in several categories, and rushed to disconnect the phone conversation.
I learned of the mistakes from CPA
family member who is doing amended returns for 2020, 2021. Waste of time, go to H&R Block instead.

I highly recommend getting your Taxes done at Mazorra. Not only for taxes but they also handle you business needs, i.e. Liquor Licenses. Very honest and reliable. Great Staff as well.

I had a very bad experience while filing my taxes for the year! When I came for assistance to have my taxes prepared, the lady boss told me to come back after a week or rather they will give me call. I did not received a call, but instead I made a call to follow up. I arrived with the papers ready as per her instruction, then she told me, there is a missed date in the notary. She told me to fix it, which I did. I have to travel again and back to handed her the fixed paper. However she told me it was not, then I told her the notarial document was already done by the person who prepared it. She will not agree, then I told her I am your client for years why? She loudly say I don’t care even you are a client for 100 years! By this loud reply I feel bad on the manner she had told me that! She should have said it to me nicely in such a manner like treating a client with a nice and polite customer relationship. Then I left, as I was about to board a train back home, she called me up - saying “I am not preparing your tax returns, without any satisfactory explanation. I replied by saying it’s ok! Then I went to another tax preparation services! (No

Never have I left a review for any business establishment but this is well deserving of it.
My parents have been filing their taxes with Mazorra Sr. for over 10 years. This year he was told to not include me as a dependent being that I was going to file my own return. This was not done and I was claimed as a dependent. We go back to ask him to amend the return & take me out.
Everything ran smoothly till he tried charging me $60 for the amendment. Now while it isn’t a lot and if it would have been a mistake on our end I would have more than gladly paid the $60. I asked him why did we have to pay if it was his mistake for not taking me out of my parents return but he did not want to admit to his doing.
Very snarky stated that “it happens a lot, people don’t want to be dependents anymore in order to claim their stimulus checks” which is not my case by any means, but for him to assume that’s the reason I needed to file my own tax return for 2020 is unprofessional. He was asked to not include me and it’s none of his business why.
He started getting loud and nasty with me so I opted to leave telling him I’ll prepare the amendment myself & taking my parents business elsewhere. He walked out right behind me and loudly told his secretary (wife) to rip up my documents, causing a scene in front of two other clients.
Over 10 years bringing service to this man for him to get loud, sarcastic & nasty with me for a mistake he didn’t take responsibility for.
Overall very poor quality of work, poor management of customer service & lack of professionalism.
