Don't waste your time by ordering Goat biryani here since you hear one word ""Finished or done"" even after you order by call and confirm.

Beware.I bought the whole tray of chicken biryani and chicken was raw! Red,totally undercooked and uneatable. What a waste.I even called to tell them that and they did not offer replacement or refund or anything.

The best authentic Biryani in town. This gourmet biryani is always of superior quality I travel 30 miles for this divine biryani. The chai is fantastic …full of flavor and made from scratch and you can taste the cardamom. Staff is wonderful always friendly a pleasure to give my business to this wonderful place.
Love the Chicken 65 Biriyani, plentiful!

This is a take out place only.
The biryani was amazing. Especially the chicken 65 biryani. The regular chicken and mutton biryanis have very little masala and since their biryanis are premade I dont think they can give you extra masala. But their Salan is good so compensates for lack of masala.
Mutton biryani is available only over the weekends and is pretty good.

Biryani was good. The person at the counter was busy doing nothing not answer the customers question about big order. Thoda Sudhro bhai basic cheez hai woh
They are open again! They were closed for awhile related to permits but they are now open again. I'm so happy to be able to drop in and pick up some fast, cheap, and good desi food. It definitely has a Hyderabadi Indian flavor profile so that is what you should expect. I believe they are pretty good in terms of what they offer - biryani, butter chicken, chicken 65, etc... it is all take out for those who have never been.
Close to a Kolkata biryani, that's the best I found in Raleigh unlike the rice mixed with curry sold as biryani in other places. Good butter chicken as well
Best Biryani in Raleigh Area! Lot of quantity for the price! I loved Chicken Biryani but Goat Biryani is also good. Must Try for Biryani lovers!
We ordered two types of biryani, naan and gongura chicken. The gongura was good, but the biryani flavor was not great. The raita was also old, and my husband and I both took a sip and couldn’t finish it because the taste was really bad. Very disappointed.

Lay off the cardamom please! Literally EVERY bite all I could taste was cardamom... YIKES Granted the portions are huge, the flavor was definitely lacking but maybe it was there but again the cardamom was way overpowering! And the service was bad. Came in, ordered, and then the person behind the counter just stood around for a good 5 minutes and then finally packed my order. SLOW SLOW SLOW! Hard pass!
One star for the worst management. They have this very rude and ignorant employee who doesn't value customers’ time and money. For the last two times, I got very less quantity. I got a small portion even after complaining about it. Chicken 65 biryani is good but sadly I am never going back again.

Experienced very poor customer service from them this weekend. I had called ahead and ordered a half tray to feed my guest for iftar. When I got there they had already sold it to someone else giving me the excuse that they have been calling me to confirm the order but I didn't pick the phone so they canceled it (they had noted my phone number incorrectly) which makes no sense since I had already placed the order. Since they sold my plate to someone else I was left in a lurch to feed my guests for iftar. I ended up buying single plates from them which ended up being more expensive than the tray. They gave me no discount and expressed no remorse for their fault. I was very disappointed in this experience with them.
I will give this 3 stars due to its unique location and authentic middle eastern style grocer, although the food I had was not the greatest and I had much higher expectations coming in. The butter chicken had too much cumin and ginger and as others have specified, it was 90 percent sauce and 10 percent chicken. This is a cool little place and I do still have faith and will try the biryani first before I write this place off.
The food was good
The price good for the rice they give
This restaurant only to go order
