Always great to see the bald eagles flying and raising a family at Radnor Lake

I come here most days. Crieve Hall native. My Girl Scout troop raised funds to save it from development in the 70's. I have newer, more stunning photos, but these three are special because they were taken in 1976 (Kodak Instamatic), when you could still walk right next to the water, you could walk entire trails & not see another soul, there was only one parking lot, & the entire road was still open for car traffic. Nobody much knew about it, & I always thought of it as my secret place. Sadly, although most people are respectful, it is so well known that you have to come at off-peak times in order to fully appreciate its splendor. I also never saw trash or dog waste left back when Radnor was first opened to the public. I beg of you to re-commit to that, if you visit. Also, if you choose to take your dog, be aware that there is LOTS of poison ivy along the sides of the road where they sniff & sometimes veer off.

Gorgeous lake hike! Dogs are only allowed on the paved road, still a gorgeous hike!

Beautiful as usual. People really respect and take care of the park. It's a real community feeling. Love Radnor Lake!🤟❤

Beautiful park with several trails to choose from.

It's a must to take your time hiking through the trails ! Wild life and solitude ! Enjoy !

Great park. Could use a men's room changing table

Amazing energy and great place for walks. Just puts a smile on your face.
