Great showing and well attended!
Informative and historical tour. The staff were helpful and entertained all our questions.
Nice place full of history from Monroe County and the Strouds family. My granddaughter and I enjoyed the tour.

My wife and I have been in a few times. The people are all lovely and they have some really interesting pieces from local artists on display. Definitely stop in of you're visiting Stroudsburg!
Went here on a nice little vacation history visit. The tour was super informative. I left learning more about history in general, PA history & Stroudsburg history specifically. Located in the heart of downtown. We found a cool candy store for the kids and a great bakery for the adults.
My husband and I traveled to Pennsylvania from Utah to do family research on his Lefler line. We stopped in at the Monroe County Historical Society on our research trip with lots of questions. The staff was wonderful and helpful. They have great knowledge about the local history and also gave us ideas of what to do next in our research.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. At this time you must make an appointment and pay a research fee of $5. Staff asked me for the names I was researching and had many of the records already pulled when I got there.

Friendly and supportive gallery nestled in the Pocono’s. Come take a look!
I love going into the Monroe County Historical society because the folks that work there are so friendly and helpful. Also their collection of historic items are vast and interesting. I would definitely recommend people going in to see them.
Loved it...warm helpful people there to help you experience "the magic"! :-) :-)
Nice little gallery.
Artist place. Well worth the visit
For a non profit organization who relies on the donations of the public, you'd think you're treated with warmth, kindness and gratitude but this has not been my experience with Carolyn Hetherington. She is very cold and mean to me that I feel like getting all of my money back from Paypal. Sad, because this is the only Arts program I know in the Poconos.
